I liked Brisco County Jr. They had a fitting conclusion, odd as it was (and long after the Bly arc, and a solid cast with Bowler and Socrates anchoring a strong rotation of cameos. Fun trivia: the creators wanted Astin to be one of those cameos because they loved watching them (when they were in TV as Gomez Addams) as kids.
Nostalgia. It’s one hell of a drug.
And yes, it’s sometimes more worthwhile to dream of my past (like reading a book or sipping a wine) than it is to relive it (falling asleep reading a boring passage, spitting out this rancid fruit juice).
