Are you sad or glad the year 2019 is ending soon?
15This year has been a horrible one for me and family. I am hoping that next year,2020, will be a better year for us. This year has been full of stressful situations and since this past August, it has been stressful situations almost non stop for us ( think stress on steroids)! Looking for, hoping, and praying for a better year next year, as we truly need it!!! Hope everyone else has had a great year this year, even though 2019 has been terrible for us !

If I could choose what the replacement year would be, I’d have a few candidates. “Seeing 2020” and similar puns will probably be funny right up to the middle of January.
2019 was a mixed bag for us. A lot of our extended family’s stress was merely deferred to 2020 and I will need to figure heavily in it, so there’s guaranteed suckage ahead.

It happened too suddenly. Everything is left incomplete, waiting to be part of an overwhelming wave in January.
Another year that we’ve allowed a racist, fraudulent, corrupt, traitorous, authoritarian sexual predator to remain in charge of the Executive Branch (and the fucker even thinks he controls the whole country). It can’t end soon enough, bring on the trial!

2019 has been a crazy ride for me - starting with a lot of unrealistic optimism, then falling into a lot of unrealistic pessimism toward the end, only to turn around again. Nothing has really resolved itself, but things could certainly be worse! Having said that, I don’t see much chance of improvement in 2020. But I’m hoping that’s just unrealistic pessimism…
Where’s the Sealab? They promised us a Sealab.
I didn’t bitch when there was no moon base in ‘99, no Star Child in ‘01. I’m going to be torqued, however, if they screw me on the Sealab.

2016 and 2019 are vying for worst year so far, in my life anyways. So long 2019!
I will say this year sucked, sucked to the highest level.
Too many personal things to bore you guys with, too many sob stories, plus Drumpf added to it almost everyday and made it a total clusterfuck. Everyday my wife and I tried and we got knocked back down, but we were able to do the best we could. We sacrificed a lot, we did not do Christmas except for our 2 boys. I know a lot of people do that too, but there was not a lot of good things happening this year. We know we can control 2020 to some point, but we are looking not to get our asses kicked in again…
2019 was my last full year of employment - the plan is to pull the pin by June. By happy coincidence (or maybe shrewd planning, yeah that’s it
) 2019 has also been the best year my 401K has seen since the 90’s. Woohoo! Sunny beaches and boat drinks here I come!
Worst year of my life. Got into an accident at work that required two screws in my foot. Workman’s Comp was difficult to work with and I got C. Dif from the medication I was prescribed. Still in pain months later and thousands of dollars spent toward medical bills. Family also hasn’t been great as they like my pain is fake and wonder why I constantly have trouble at work. Getting pressured to buy a car with limited funds also didn’t help.
The main lesson for me this year was to trust my instincts and my intuition instead of letting others get in my way or else my life will continue to get worse.

Yeah, 2019 pretty much sucked ass. While I’m trying to start off 2020 with some fun (ski trip to Switzerland this time!), I expect the rest of the year to blow. The only thing that could make it end on a good note would be getting rid of that orange criminal piece of shit in the White House come election time. And fuck you if you like him. So there.
