What do you mean, is Meh hiring? She doesn’t belong at Meh.
If she’s 11 now, that means in 2020 she will be 15.
So time to change the constitution. A presidential candidate must be born an American citizen and any other requirements, and in addition must be at least 15 years old.
Not 35. 15.
She seems to meet all the other requirements:
Current:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
The last tally in her email back to Mike Rowe (?) was her new personal best of 7,491 boxes of cookies. And cookie season will be open for another 4-6 weeks. Meanwhile, our cookie seller aged out of the program and we’re now looking for a new connection. I mean, seller.
I donated some cookies to the troops from her page. I chose to pay using Visa Checkout, which I use infreqently, and which has always been fine for me. (Visa Checkout and Dell are sponsors of GSA’s online cookie sales system.)
After I clicked to process and complete the order, the urls on the browser briefly went to a PayPal URL.
Interesting. I’m sure the PayPal’ biz has lots of tentacles, but I never expected them to be contracted to assist Visa Checkout’s online payment processing system.
I thought the whole point of Visa Checkout and Mastercard’s similar product were to compete in the paypal-dominated space.
I suppose that business, like politics, makes for strange bedfellows.
Does anyone here have a scout selling cookies? If not I’ll order some from Charlotte as my connections are nil but I’d just as soon support a Mehtizen’s family/troop/etc. if I can.
If you can get a troup # near you from the zip code thing or from someone you know, you can perhaps google online ordering from that troup.
Or if your area has a local GSA webpage, you might be able to get local troup #'s there or even links to local troup online cookie sales from that site.

Didn’t watch the videos due to lack of time, but if the article is anything to go by…
@PlacidPenguin watch the videos.
@PantHeist
Gotta find time though.
@PlacidPenguin this goes to Smart Recruiters now, I wonder if they outsourced hiring?
@Thumperchick
There was a thingy mentioned here in passing.

Time to freshen up that language.
Charlotte, you go girl!
How is it that she apparently wrote a more professional and concise letter/email than I have ever written in my life?
Oh: here is the direct link to her cookie sales website:

@f00l Where are you getting 15 from? Looks like it’s saying you can’t be president if you haven’t hit 35 years alive and 14 years of living in the US
@PantHeist
Time to update the language in that fusty old document. It’s a new era.

I actually ordered from her site - about 10 boxes with a couple going to troops. My connection aged out also a couple years ago and I needed my fix.
Her total was 16,000 on January 31st with more than 7,000 going to our troops! http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2017/01/31/girl-scout-cookie-reviews/

@jbartus
The GSA cookie sales website lets you search by zip or location if you want to purchase locally.
http://www.girlscouts.org/en/cookies/all-about-cookies/How-to-Buy.html
@f00l that gets me cookie booth locations though, I like this whole order online without leaving my chair idea.

@f00l sales pages are unique to each girl
@jbartus
I know that. But I think the troup # is in the URL along with the girl’s name.
That’s why i thought googling might work once you had a troop #.
Have not tried. Might fail. In which case that’s the best I’ve got without trying to actually track down a troup or girl in your area.
@f00l I was more thinking I’d support someone here that we know if anyone here had a girl scout.
