Yes and no… The idea of capturing the aroma as you lift the bowl to your face, well, that's still there… but the stem prevents your sweaty miserable hands from heating up the bowl, so it's kind of important. Maybe you have a cold, dead heart though, and cold, dead hands to match. In this case… Yes, yes stemless stemware is perfectly reasonable. You monster.
If it can hold wine, it's a wine glass. I realize this definition would result in A LOT of things being wine glasses, including the bathroom sink and your stomach, but I like the simplicity of it.
@awk As it happens, my stomach is currently being used as a wine glass. It is also being used as an apple and cheese and crackers glass. I'm really happy that it's not transparent like today's glasses, because I'm pretty sure it would look totally disgusting right now.
Nope

No stemless wine glasses are not wine glasses or you would have used some in pictures in the write up .
@don Meh; blatant disregard for associating the write-up with the product being sold.

@awk Yummmm, toilet wine.

Beats me, I'm thinking of buying them for ice tea glasses...that's my wine of choice.
@mehbee I actually think stemless wine glasses make very attractive juice/water/tea/whatever glasses, probably my favorite reason they exist…
@brhfl I totally agree, and 15 oz. is a good amount of liquid..sweet tea or wine!
Google, define Wine Glass... result: a glass with a stem and foot, used for drinking wine.
My favorite glasses for wine, which I have in tall and short. No stem, and no heating from hands.
Stemless wine glasses make me angry.
