Anyone want shirts?
10Thanks to a combination of better diet and changing wardrobe, I have ~35 meh shirts I don’t wear anymore. Some of them I’ve only worn once or twice, and a few (like the toothbrush shirt) that I’ve never worn.
So, I figured before I took these all to my local charity, I’d float this in the community.
If anyone wants some shirts, in exchange for postage, I will happily cram as many as I can fit in to a flat-rate box. All the shirts are XL and clean. I don’t think there are any stains or holes in anything, but I haven’t exactly pored over them. To add to the element of surprise (and because I’m lazy) these will be whatever I happen to grab.
Small box is $8.30 and I’m guessing will hold 2 (don’t have one to confirm though).
Medium box is $15.05 and I’m pretty sure it will hold some number greater than 2 shirts.
Anyone interested?

Calling @narfcake - free meh shirts ^^^^
Now you don’t have to worry about the thrift store being shut.
Congrats on the weight loss!
@Kidsandliz Thanks! I was doing well, and then quarantine has made it even easier
Figured I should add a photo
@mrchristian I love purple.
@Barneybot isn’t a real bot.
@mrchristian If you have the black Meh Ghost shirt from last year I am interested in that one. I think it is the only one I don’t have.
@yakkoTDI Sorry, don’t have that one
How did you get so many?
@star2236 I bought them over the years
@mrchristian
I’m interested. If you have not promised them to someone else.
Will pay postage or whatever of course
@f00l Nope, no one yet. Were you thinking a small box or a medium box or…?
Thanks to @tim878 who clued me in to pirateship, flat rate boxes are Small for $7.65 and Medium for $13.20.
The small flat rate is unlikely to fit 2 shirts. The bubble flat rate should at a dime more. You can order these for free or I can send you what you need (also a free option).
I have a few men’s large shirts if you are interested. (And you have not shrunk yourself smaller!)
@speediedelivery Yup, discovered this as well. If I were willing to compress and reinforce the crap out of the box, I could make it work… but I’m not.
And thanks for the offer, but honestly I’ve kind of stopped wearing print t-shirts altogether.
You got any 2XL, twiggy?
@medz Sorry, no help on that front
I’d take some for my Meh t-shirt quilt that I am someday going to make. Size doesn’t matter! So if there are any leftovers or with wear away from the logo let me know. I will of course pay postage.
After some science* I have concluded that I can reasonably only fit one shirt per small box
BUT! I can fit nine shirts per medium box. So unless you really want to over pay for a used shirt, lets just say medium boxes, $13.20.
Couple of you reached out, I’ll hit you up to see what you want to do!
@mrchristian Finally counted, I have 41 shirts. I’m going to hang on to one of the plain ol’ meh shirts, and I can squeeze ten in to a box.
So I’m going to do four medium boxes of 10, and I think three are spoken for.
OK, for the folks interested, shoot me an email at
meh-shirts@go.fuckyourselv.es , please include your meh username. I figure we can do this via paypal or venmo, whatever is easiest for y’all.
@f00l @sammydog01 @callow have dibs, but I have four total available.
@mrchristian
Email sent. Thx.
I’ve still got two boxes left, if anyone else is interested.
@mrchristian awesome offer and very generous. I’ve actually lost 90lbs in the last year so I recently went through my closet and gave away, or trashed, a huge percentage of my 2xl shirts. I would be excited to have a selection of my ‘new’ (and permanent) size to help fill some of that void if you still have any boxes left
. Thanks for hooking up the community regardless though!
WORKER BEES! HERCULES! TURKEY GREASE! AWESOME!
Just wanted to say you’re amazing.
And wish I found out about Pirate Ship before the last three boxes I sent out lol
@smigit2002
Aww, thanks!
I don’t mail things often (like maybe one package a year, usually), but PirateShip is definitely nice. I was doing some homework on them, out of boredom, and it seems like if you are something like an etsy seller they can be a total lifesaver.
