Anyone think I'll find a 32" TV for under $150 before Thanksgiving?
2I really want to try and snag one before Thanksgiving to put in the living room. Best I have seen is $159 from Walmart and Best Buy. That $100 one on the Walmart Black Friday ad is mocking me right now. Even pawn shops want $130+ for some scratched up ones. Its a shame I tell you.

There's usually deals leading up to black friday throughout that week. Especially online. I almost always find one deal I bite on before Thanksgiving.
@xEBRONx Man, but I dont want to risk waiting that long and it not coming in on time. Decisions....
@bxm83 40" for $115 at Walmart, don't think it will get much better without needing to be lucky or wait in a line...No clue if your store will have it or its quality though:

Good luck
@bxm83 And another with more reviews for the same $115 price

@Stallion as much as I'd want it, the space it fits in wouldn't hold a 40"
@bxm83 Damn that sucks, that was a sweet price pre BF. 32" are common, Good luck i'm sure you'll find something,
Here's two on sale for $149 at Walmart.

@moondrake Thanks, but both of those Walmart TVs are 24". The TigerDirect ones are tempting, but if I find a better deal before Thanksgiving, I wouldn't be able to return those easily. Plus for $10 more I can get a new one. Maybe I should have said under $130.
@bxm83 Darn, sorry on the Walmart ones. I searched for "32" TVs" and looked at the brand names and a couple of details but didn't look at screen size. You don't have a B&M Tigerdirect nearby? I am lucky enough to have one in my city.
@moondrake I think there is one about 1.5hrs away.
@moondrake As far as I can tell, Tigerdirect only has physical stores in 6 states. To most of the country, it's just a crappy website.
@DJP519 the stores aren't that great either
Keep a eye on Best Buy. Last year I discovered that many of their Black Friday ads were available on line, and for several days. I bought a 25 inch monitor for $99, plus free shipping. Wish I'd gotten two, one for hubby.
@Teripie Ill keep an eye out.
Definitely- here's a list of the current Black Friday ads: http://dealnews.com/black-friday/
And, more relevant to your question: http://dealnews.com/black-friday/hdtv-product-guide.html
@dashcloud I saw Walmart's $99 one. But I want it before Thanksgiving.
720p v 1080p is probably going to be the tipping point. Good luck. My Seiki Walmart bargain has a nice pic but a terrible remote that is getting more terrible every day. One button press, one channel change. And the middle of the remote is dying, which is where the menu button and navigation buttons are.
@mehmeyousweet At 32" I think 720p will be just fine. We won't be sitting too close to it.
@mehmeyousweet See if you can buy a used logitech universal remote on craigslist or ebay. I have an older model i use to control my whole media center (including projector) and it's awesome.
I just got the Kohls Black Friday ad in the mail and they will be having a 32" TV for $99 at 6pm on Thanksgiving Day. I hate these TDay openings, I want to enjoy TDay, not shop! http://www.inquisitr.com/1598824/black-friday-2014-kohls-offering-32-inch-hdtv-for-99-but-theres-a-catch/
@moondrake Yeah, but I was hoping to have it for Thanksgiving Day. I found a friend willing to sell me one. So close enough.
Walmart's having sales all this week on TVs. I know they had several 32". I'm looking for a 28, not as many of those.
Hey, do you guys remember when they tried inventing 3D TVs? That was funny.
@phatmass I'm waiting for the diet version.
Yes.
