Yeah, I got one. And so I pity-surfed over there. Found something I needed. Clicked the “I want one” button and – because I haven’t been to the site since I can’t remember when – it asked me to log in.
Ain’t nobody got time for that, so I closed the tab.
@sammydog01 i buy lot’s of stuff too from woot… ya gotta be picky to get good deals, but they are there… funny isn’t? how the folks who really don’t buy anything? get rewarded… and the folks who buy and support their site, get nothin at all…
I got one a few weeks ago, used the coupon to get my wife some t-shirts she liked. The coupon would not work on her account, so I guess I now have a recent purchase (besides a BOC in April that was truly crap).
I got that survey along with the $ 10 off coupon-told them I liked the idea of a new product every day, but didn’t like the idea of having to stay up till 1 AM to find what it was.
When the exact LED light bulbs that are being sold in your $30 12-pack (+5 shipping) can be had for $10 via Amazon (shipped by 1000bulbs.com, a legitimate site and seller which I have personally purchased from before), or for $34, one would be getting 60 bulbs instead, being referred to as a “deal site” becomes moot.
@narfcake ouch. i haven’t received any of these emails, but i may have unsubscribed from them. this kind of thing is what i recall the last time i followed a woot off. all the prices being higher, or exactly $5 less than amazon’s prime fulfilled price.
Yep. Told them that they were too large to be a deal a day site, and too small to be a general shopping site. Suggested that they go back to deal a day (with real deals) because Amazon already has a general shopping site
Yea got the same thing. Only thing i buy on there is crap.
I recently got 3 of these emails (no, this wasnt in my cart):
"Hi Wooter, we noticed that you had an Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 16GB Wi-Fi Tablet in your shopping cart but were unable to get it before the deal ended. Well, guess what? Luckily, we found some more!
So we’d like to offer you a chance to buy it if you are still interested. This offer is valid for only 24 hrs, so hop on it before they sell out again."
Nope. I got a BOC two weeks ago with a letter in it, so they sent me another giant box of crap. I would have gotten the email if it hadn’t been for that BOC, but I usually only woot on woot’s birthday every July 12.
Yeah I got it
Had a coupon code for 10 off 25 but can’t say that I’ll find anything there to use it on, as I haven’t in a while.

@simssj

@simssj Pissed me off that I had to log in with Amazon, not with my actual Woot username; they now require an email address for the account name. Meh.
No- I buy too much crap from them.

@meh No email here either; that was just an example of what I’d say.
I’m still buying shirts, although printing QC still seems to be an issue – again.
@narfcake link please? I need lots of LEDs for the new house
@luvche21 $2.99/6-pack.

Yes. I told them that Amazon ruined Woot and Meh now is the leader in deal a day sites

I don’t look at Woot emails any more…Rarely purchase anything from them…
