Any writers doing NaNoWriMo?
4I’m not, I’m tempted but I don’t think I’m a novel writer. I do have a couple writers friends that started November 1st and they seem to be doing well.
Just curious if anyone in the community is a writer and taking part in the month long challenge? How are you feeling so far? Keeping up? Can we read it afterwards?

Daughter and SIL did this a few years back… though to tell the truth I never followed up to see if they completed and/or if it was something worth reading. I will have to ask when I see them at T-giving.
Stay tuned… or not…
I had never heard of this before. Maybe next year. Otherwise it will just be 2/3 of a novel, and that’s no good.
@mehcuda67 I think 2/3 is good enough in a lot of cases. All you need to worry about is an interesting beginning to start and a conclusion that leaves everything finalized. I’ve read many novels where the middle was quite meh.
I’m a writer, but I’m currently in grad school for a MA in English with a concentration on nonfiction writing, so I have so much writing to do for classes that I don’t really have time NaNoWriMo this go-round. I am excited to try it after I graduate though.
If anyone has an Echo device, Alexa will give you a new writing prompt each day if you ask her for the writing prompt of the day. Say, “Alexa, what’s the writing prompt for today?”
