Any other Idaho folks in meh land; where are the rest of ya all from? Just curious of the demographic diversity of the group compared to the sales maps.
@barnabee You’ve got the Chiefs and Idaho has… has… no pro team of any kind. I support the Chiefs because of a deep hatred of Steve Young pushing out Joe Montana.
@barnabee Speaking of the Chiefs, as a kid I visited KC MO every summer. I was able to convince the neighbor kids there that I lived in Ohiowa. I even received letter addressed to Ohiowa! I grew up in Ohio.
@barnabee Where abouts in KS? I've never been, but Mom's Whole side Family went To College In McPherson. So did Dad and his 2 brothers. That's where My folks Met, Married and Had My older brother. Heck my one Cousin Moved to McPherson for College('95-ish), and Never left. after graduating the college hired him.
@leftnutt43 WOW! Glenns Ferry, I don't know why but I can't get my head around meh existing within your area. Maybe it's that the only thing I know is stews place.
@Ryaneil Stews yup about the only thing do in town besides watch rust form and paint peel off the wall.I call this the ghost town with broadband.but have lived all over From Maine to Forks Washington
Was from Idaho if that counts - Moscow (with plenty of seriously long drives to Bosie for stupid kid soccer - that trip was so long I could have driven from PA to IL, but no Idaho has to make that distance into all one state). And now Jackson, MS. Lived in Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Canada, Scotland, England, The Netherlands, Germany and probably a few other places I have forgotten about...
@chadder I was there a lot. Some really nice places there. The drive (as long as it was daylight) from Moscow to Bosie was beautiful! Did that way too often for soccer games. Drive 7.5 hours - maybe longer if we had the rafting traffic jam blocking the highway (I forget what towns were involved but I seriously considered abandoning soccer and jumping in a raft). Spend the night. Get up way too early. Spend 3 hours on the side lines of the soccer field (or the weekend if it was a tournament). Go out to eat with kid's team. Drive back on where the one lane each direction was now way more stressful in the pitch black where the lane lines are basically so gone nothing reflects and the valley is so deep no moonlight… bite nails up to elbow hoping I won't end up in the river, in a ditch, hit a deer… because the pavement was like volcanic rock - no reflected light back.
Man is it a small world... Go that way all the time twin falls ect and of course Mountain Home with me being from Glenns Ferry.. That dairy that sells ice cream Buhl is Smith's? Man good stuff!!!!!
No one that will admit it. Of course, I'm from Kansas and that's nothing to brag about.

@Ryaneil Nice try, Idaho, but the Chiefs are in Missouri. Still nothing to brag about here.
@barnabee you can see how close of attention i pay to football:)

@jimmyd103 Funny you should say that. As a kid I always got Iowa and Ohio mixed up. Good to see that there's a Ohiowa!
@barnabee I am from KS as well. Usually only one in my county to buy...

@barnabee definitely not!
@medz Shocker?

@Ignorant why's your GPS on? That'll kill yer battery fast.
@jsh139 because I like Google telling me what to do and they seem to have a hard time doing that if they don't know where I am.

@jqubed how is this not the official state song?
Born & raised in northwestern PA, short stays in Buffalo, D.C., Tel Aviv, and lastly, lots of years in Cincinnati.
@pooflady I've known you online for close to a decade and somehow I think this is the first I've heard of most of this.
@jqubed There were long stretches that you weren't around; it probably came up then.
@pooflady That makes sense.
Grew up in Burley - now I live in Boise area. Love it here.
