At first I thought these were the Soundcore Liberty 1s and was like “hell naw”…. But when I noticed they were the Soundcore Liberty 2s I still didn’t want them.
I have some Anker Soundcore bluetooth over-the-ear headphones. They function quite adequately. I imagine that these earbuds also function adequately. They will definitely be adequate for your needs. Adequate. Is that even a word? It looks so strange. Anyway, adequate.

I’m on my second pair of (original) Soundcore Liberty earbuds after losing one of the buds of the first pair. They are still going strong, great sound and I don’t feel the need to upgrade. tbh I prefer the slightly cheaper Spirits as they’re more secure in my ears and I can shrug it off if I accidentally forget them in the pocket of my scrubs and they disappear forever.
My wife has Soundcore Spirit and loves them. I have AirPods Pro and love them. Don’t need another pair of wireless headphones especially when I don’t have another set of ears for them to go into.
@katsuronishi I have to have 4 sets. That way when I forget to charge them, I can grab another set. Usually by the time I get to the 3rd or 4th one I remember to charge all of them while I am working. I think I am due to charge them right now.
Ohhh, tempted by these. I have a 2 year old pair of Anker sound core earbuds that I really like. I don’t need another pair, but it’s a great price for a backup.
Hey, I have this exact set in my ears right now. Not an audiophile, but the best audio quality I’ve ever owned in earbuds. (Not saying much, since ink’d was my go to for a while…) I’m sure an audiophile could find these ‘meh’ enough. I’ve had this set for about a year, and my previous soundcore (not liberty model) set for 3 years of daily use. I regularly run them for about 8 hours in the morning, even a year later, so they aren’t lying there.
The ear-holder wing things do take a while to get used to, and how well they seal the ear can sometimes cause a bit of moisture retention. I also have some minor issues with charging my right bud, but I bought this set refurbished (for like twice this price!!) and that was present from the beginning, so I think that’s why it was refurb.
Overall, the earbuds are good, never had one fall out unless I didn’t rotate to lock it in, the case is much better than flip tops that snap off and get broken, and muthatruckin USB C CHARGING!!!
These are EXCELLENT ear buds and a steal of a deal at that price. I’ve owned several generations of these and they sound great, have solid battery life, and strong Bluetooth connectivity (meaning great range). This is definitely not a “meh” product, so it must be an error that they are on this site.
These look a bit clunky, but probably sound adequate. But I got a pair of SoundPEATS Truengine 3 SE buds 18 months ago. $34 for $50 buds on the 'Zon with a coupon. Quick charging, long runtime, easy fit, and they sound quite adequate. These are adequately similar, I’m sure.
I’ve got a few Soundcore headphones and I’ve been happy to extremely happy with all of them. The Hear ID sounds gimmicky but it really does work well. I’ve got so many headphones but these at this price is very tempting.
I have what I believe is the last generation of these exact headphones. Anker Soundcore Liberty 2019. I am wearing them as I type this review.
They are excellent, noise cancellation is great, sound quality is good enough for my non-audiophile ears, and the battery life is ok for wireless buds. You can get 3-4 charges out of the case and they charge rather quick, which is nice. Mine came with many rubber fittings and I was able to find ones that fit my ear very well
Two complaints:
Sometimes pairing is finicky, I’ve found that putting then in the case and taking them back out works. Only happens when first pairing to a new device and even then only happens rarely
When the battery in these things starts dying, it loudly exclaims “Battery Low” into your ear on a 1 minute interval, but the earbuds will last another 30 minutes at least. But it effectively makes them unusable. Wish there was a way to disable the battery warning or make it something more subtle, but this is a minor complaint.

@Bcburk You gotta stay flexible when faced with new information.
The sound of core is Ankered in liberty, bud.
@hchavers People are usually offended by sounds from my core.
@macromeh In my world, People = an upset Wife
These are so freaking sound core

@mxatvracer10 “I can do one more”?

@anemones …sometimes I just want to crawl into the pocket of your scrubs and disappear forever.
@anemones @Pfister37
stuff that crawls into the pockets of my scrubs turns to lint evidently…

just got Jlab earbuds too oh well.
Can’t speak for this particular model, but the Anker Zolo Liberty earbuds I got from Meh on October 30th 2020 are still working fine.
How did you guys pass up the chance to say, “Stuck in the mehdle”?
Ohhh, tempted by these. I have a 2 year old pair of Anker sound core earbuds that I really like. I don’t need another pair, but it’s a great price for a backup.
@rinrinrin and with better battery life!

Two complaints:
Overall I would recommend these earbuds.
Would putting Ankers on my ears weigh me down?
@OnionSoup Might need some Anker management training to buoy you up.
Wait, did you guys just admit that most of the earbuds you sell are sh*t?
I respect that.

I bought these for my mom. They arrived today. The order number was horrifying this time, considering that, though.
/giphy drain-gaping-partner
I must say, these headphones are the most un-meh purchase ever! I am totally impressed with the sound quality of these little bitty dudes
And the order number was certainly unique (oh, kind of the point, isn’t it)
