I miss the AA shirts at woot. The Anvil replacements were ok. But the ones they have now are downright terrible. Really wide neck holes and too short in length.
@jsh139: I thought the term nowadays is "that Roombas." Or "that Dysons". As for the Woot shirts nowadays ... the neckline - Anvil K10 is like an AA men's XL. The shinkage - much worse than AA or NLA.
@narfcake Yeah, they are definitely inferior shirts. I thought that the Anvil shirts were sourced from someone other than Honduras for a while. El Salvador maybe? And I thought that they were ok (still not as good as AA). But the ones they sell now are horrible.
@narfcake Oh, and Roombas don't suck. No, literally, they don't suck which is the problem with them! At least the POS model I had didn't after the first week of using it >:(
@jsh139: There were the early ones from Bangladesh, which I raised some ruckus over because of labor practices. Otherwise, Nicaragua, which of the Anvils, at least have more manegable neckholes.
@narfcake HUGE neck openings! The last shirt I bought at Woot had a neck opening so large that I could put my entire body thru it. They sent me a replacement and it was exactly the same way.
I was given an AA shirt from a company I was contracting for that wanted us to wear their logo. It's so comfortable It's still one of my favorite shirts even though I really dislike that company.
I'll be honest. AA isn't my favorite. I love their fabric, but their sizing turns me off. I also really dislike the way the hems are always weird after washing. But, I know that most people prefer AA, so you won't hear (m)any complaints from me about it.
@PurplePawprints I agree with you about the hems. They twist after washing. But not all of my AA shirts do that. It's 50/50. But still slightly annoying. The sizing I'm ok with. I just order one size up.
@jsh139 Yeah, so congrats on being tall. For those of us who are merely of perfectly average height, ordering a size up turns AA's bizarrely chest-hugging shirts into dresses.
@JonT: I wouldn't go so far to say extremely small, considering that Next Level's sizing is even tighter than AA's. Other brands are similarly sized; the one that's out of the norm are the Anvil 880's that's used at Woot.
What have I done?!

@jsh139: The wide-necked shrinks-a-lot shirts are Anvil. Woot still hasn't changed. :(
@narfcake that sucks.
@narfcake That would make one hell of a jingle.

@narfcake You could also say "that Vornados"

Given that I have well over 600 AA shirts in the form of the original Woot shirts, and from GoodJoe, Tilteed, early TeeTurtle, and others ...
Great. The one time I actually want to use one of those stupid social icons, I don't see one. I'd totally share this on FB after that heart-felt plea.
@JebusJuice Copy and paste the link into your social media as a status/tweet/comment. Easy as pi.
Way better than a lot of other t-shirts.
i don't ever wear a shirt so i'm pretty indifferent
@harrison Branching out into Meh saris and dashikis is just good business.
@harrison No shirt, no shoes....Bad boy, what ya gonna do?

@rdowling ikr!
@rdowling I'm average height (5'9") but I'm fine with the extra shirt length.
@PurplePawprints Oh man, I thought that was just me with the hems, 'cause it's only on 1 or 2 shirts I have!
Can I buy more than one and can I get them in different size?
@alsf Only by creating multiple accounts.
@PurplePawprints Really? Meh! :(
AA shirts are ok, but I would never support them directly because of there pornographic ads.
I use Tultex shirts for my business and absolutely love them. Super soft, thin, and inexpensive.
If I could spend a little more I'd go with Next Level Apparel. They seem to be the new cool kid in town.
If I could spend a lot more I'd go with Alternative Apparel. That's some a-lister type stuff right there.
@phatmass They did vote out creepy Charney... Perhaps those pedo-esque adds will leave with him.
@Thumperchick: Hard to say. On some recent billboards here around LA - "We’re not politically correct – But we have good ethics." http://www.apparelnews.net/news/2014/aug/06/american-apparel-we-have-good-ethics/
Sold out of my size, very unfortunate. I will only spread the word about meh to 4.5 of my friends now.
@CurlyMullet Will the half-friend be told about "Meh" or ".com"?
The best, unless you want a womens, then they are too small.
Anyone have any input on how women's sizing fits?
@DrLysergic They're extremely small, here's a sizing chart. The medium is probably a small almost everywhere else.
@DrLysergic They fit like junior's shirts. Small, well fitted, but they run small.
