Amcrest security camera critical issue
12Hi, there’s a very serious set of issues recently disclosed about the Amcrest HDSeries model IPM-721S cameras.
If all you want to do is fix the issue, just log in to your camera(s) and you’ll be offered the update.

One of the worst issues is that you can see the admin password in plaintext just by visiting a certain URL.

This is exactly why I have stayed away from wifi security cameras. My paranoia can’t get past the possibility of there being some secret feed built into the camera that just gets dumped onto some server in China.
