Almost-Meh as a last name.

I can be a clueless idiot at times. I just realized my last name starts with Meh. Anybody else share in this rare, maybe not-so-rare coincidence?

I have to admit it's my married name and I'm still not used to it even after having changed it 10 years ago.

One of my lady friends has last name "Mah", which means "Horse" in Chinese. It is a common last name that was translated to a made-up English word that sounds similar. I won't be surprised if some people translated it to "Meh" without knowing why. :-)

I checked our paper phone book. The only meh-name is "Mehta Engineering", no people at all.

Note that the paper phone book is shrinking, it doesn't represent a large portion of the population any more.

- @earlyre You are correct, the "M" in your VIN stands for Mercury. And the "1" indicates it was final-assembled in the U.S.
