@IndifferentDude@OnionSoup Over twelve hours in, and just 39 sold. I am not surprised; these are not designs I’d have added to my own line, nor would I have selected them to have on hand for sale at fan conventions. (I’ve been in that business for 31 years.)
@OnionSoup Given the forecast ship date, I think these are going to be print-to-order. With Mediocritee gone, there’s no good reason for them to print even a single non-pre-sold shirt.
@macromeh@phendrick@werehatrack James Cameron directed The Terminator, so I replaced “came” with “went” to go along with “Straightforwardly Scott,” but after rereading the write-up, I don’t think the joke worked as well as I though it would.
@lisagd@phendrick@werehatrack And James Cameron also followed Ridley Scott to direct the sequel Aliens. Cameron is Scottish for “Crooked Nose”. (Admittedly too tangential and obscure to be an effective joke.)
@lisagd@phendrick@werehatrack I was only aware of it because I happened to notice one of the results from googling Cameron.
But I do have some Scottish blood (from my mom’s grandmother) and a somewhat crooked nose.

Screen Print Sunday has returned!!
Bring on the whiners!!
Meh.
But then, I’m a screen printer.
Whine 1: really $20 for a t-shirt?
I guess this is to let the warehouse crew have a rest after the busy mehrathon.
@OnionSoup 3 hours in and only 19 sold?? I think you’re spot on for the break for the warehouse folks!!
/giphy break time

@IndifferentDude @OnionSoup @werehatrack
It’s doing better than some designs have done back in the older days of shirt.woot. IIRC, the lowest sales for a daily offering was 8.
@IndifferentDude @OnionSoup 16 hours in, 57 sold.
@OnionSoup @rjyanco Guess we know what will be in every IRK that just sold!!
@IndifferentDude @rjyanco noooooooooooooooooo!
Meh, depending on size my kids might wear them.
@IndifferentDude @OnionSoup @rjyanco
Nah, they print them to order.
@IndifferentDude @Kyeh @rjyanco that would make sense, but they always have left over shirts for the random shirts in mehrathons.
Unless it is “print to order” but they have to print in blocks of “x” shirts.

You didn’t hear me scream when I saw the deal?
I’ll be back. Tomorrow.
Mehbe.
What about that other director? Spikely?
@phendrick Did you mean ol’ “Crooked Nose” ?
@phendrick You mean James Wentron?
@phendrick Christopher Yeslan?
(I thought about going completely gonzo, and making him Chrisbottomher Yeslan, but even I have limits.)
@macromeh @lisagd Sorry, your allusions are out of my reach.
@werehatrack Looked it up, found chris-top-her-no-lan so get it now.
I was just doing a homophone, of sorts.
@lisagd @macromeh @werehatrack
<I think we all have too much time on our hands.>
@macromeh @phendrick @werehatrack James Cameron directed The Terminator, so I replaced “came” with “went” to go along with “Straightforwardly Scott,” but after rereading the write-up, I don’t think the joke worked as well as I though it would.
@lisagd @macromeh @phendrick It was clever enough, as far as I was concerned.
@lisagd @phendrick @werehatrack And James Cameron also followed Ridley Scott to direct the sequel Aliens. Cameron is Scottish for “Crooked Nose”. (Admittedly too tangential and obscure to be an effective joke.)
@lisagd @macromeh @werehatrack
More ammo to fight crossword puzzles with, though I don’t see many referring to Scottish appellations.
So. Much. To. Know.
@lisagd @phendrick @werehatrack I was only aware of it because I happened to notice one of the results from googling Cameron.
But I do have some Scottish blood (from my mom’s grandmother) and a somewhat crooked nose.
@macromeh @phendrick @werehatrack Yeah, that was even too obscure for me.
@macromeh @phendrick @werehatrack My humor can be a little obtuse, so thanks for that.
1984 called and they want their shirts back.
I normally bitch about the price of your t-shirts (guess what killed mediocritee), however this design is so busy it is unnecessary.
“Screw your freedom!!!”
Like a real life villain. Appropriate picture for mood setting but wrong quote.
@qazxto Damn straight. After that I have no use for the guy.
I thought it was both for one price….yikes
Fortunately, I have a self-imposed moratorium on black t-shirts, because I like the idea, but the design is too busy.
generally a deals site is supposed to offer items at lower prices than normal, instead of higher
@omally Those are slightly below the typical median for non-mass-produced online shirt sales that aren’t closeouts.
I smashed that Meh button.
The writeup is great, at least!
1s…2s…7s…
For when you need Arnold’s face on your clothing seven days a week.
Anyone else still waiting for a shipping notification?
@Theplague99 I think it’s time for a little detour through meh.com/support to see what’s holding up the shipping.
@Theplague99 Wow you’re patient.
@werehatrack already did but wanted t see if it was only me
It took long enough to get this shirt
