@gilar1ja Requires Flash. Boo!
@SSteve Hey, I'm just the messenger. Is flash really that frowned upon these days? Or is it just iphones not having flash that people are disgruntled about? I'm getting to be an internet old timer but I still like flash...
@gilar1ja As far as I know, most mobile devices don't have Flash, not just Apple devices. Maybe someone will correct me. I don't have Flash installed on my computer because, for me, it mostly only serves up annoying ads. If I really have to see something in Flash on my computer, I use Chrome because it has Flash built-in.
@SSteve Yep. Doesn't play nice on my Android. Have to get my cat fix at one of the million other sites for it.
Imgur.com devours my soul. I need to give it up. I can't remember what I used to use the internet for before I found it...
@Talidan - I won't even look at Candy Crush for fear of a life-sucking addiction. Sounds like I should be afraid of Imgur as well.
@KDemo imgur is worse than Candy Crush.
@Talidan @Thumperchick I had no idea imgur was a potential time-consumer. I thought it was just a place to dump photos to post on meh.com.
@SSteve I thought so too when I set up an account for Meh usage. Then I browsed.....
@SSteve It's definitely more than that. Much more. Like a black hole. It appears as if it's a vast emptiness, but then it sucks you in and spaghettifies all motivation to do anything productive. Time and space warps within it. "Oh, what's that? You've got stuff to do?" SHHHWWOOOOPFFF "Look at all that productivity... gone. And it's already two hours later!"
@Talidan @bluedyn Well, I can't see the harm in looking for just a second...
@SSteve Be sure to let someone know where you're going before you venture in.
@Talidan - are you sure it's not a portal for alien abductions? You can't be sure where you were for those missing hours.
@SSteve I am sure you can only eat one french fry, one lick of an ice cream cone, one chip… too LOL
@Talidan I'm trying really hard to get out and never go back... I haven't learned anything for found anything that really makes my life better... but... I can't quite leave :/
There are other websites?
The Oatmeal for fun.
Greater Good to do quick and free good deeds
http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/
http://rinkworks.com/bookaminute/
@parodymandotcom - That's pretty funny. I could've saved a lot of time reading War and Peace this way.
xkcd is always a solid choice.
reddit.com. There's just an awful lot of everything over there. I've also been spending a lot of time at geocaching.com, which i just started doing.
I have wasted more time stifling my giggles on http://www.engrish.com/ than I have ever spent actually working at work.
I get paid for it all though, which makes it almost even funnier.
@shubydoo - Are you an interpreter?
...and there goes the rest of my day. :-)
@KDemo - no silly, I'm a West Virginian!
(Made MYSELF giggle there...)
If you don't like spam: http://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/
If you don't have Prime:
http://www.filleritem.com/
Just cool:
http://anasomnia.com/
@KDemo That anasomnia site is really trippy
@Bingo - It's a little different each time.
Plime.com.... But it doesn't exist anymore.
That is a sadness.

I'll go ahead and say it: Requires Flash. Boo!
I used to love regretsy.com, but the site is dead and archived.
@Thumperchick - If you go there now, you can find the Darth Vader Theme played on ukelele. Worth the price of admission.
http://iscaliforniaonfire.com/
@chibisara - That probably says yes as often as http://isittuesday.co.uk/. (We were evacuated for a week in the Lexington fire of 1985, but our side of the reservoir was spared.)
@chibisara Can't forget these two: http://www.abevigoda.com/ and http://www.isabevigodadead.com/.
I love that people cared enough to make two of these.
This one's pretty cool and a good time waster. http://www.retronaut.co/
It's always fun to talk to @ChadP about the ridiculous things offered on www.uncrate.com
Looking for that truly weird gift or item? http://www.thisiswhyimbroke.com/
I frequent previously.tv because I'm a tv junkie. I like their sarcastic recaps and I hang out in their forums to argue with idiotic posters. And also to make fun of everyone's grammar.
@marcee This might be its own thread at some point, but what are you watching right now?
@JonT That is a thread I could live in. I watch way too much TV. Maybe I shouldn't tell people that?
@JonT @bluedyn We can have our own little thread. But right now, Sons of Anarchy is my problem-show. Summer shows: Rush, Satisfaction, Franklin & Bash... I'll have a more comprehensive list in the Fall. We're sort of in-between seasons right now.
@marcee Satisfaction is fun and dirty. I'm also watching Witches of East End, The Lottery, and Manhattan. Looking forward to trying out several new things in the fall.
@marcee I loved Sons of Anarchy and was caught up until this new season but my girlfriend has never seen it, that might be next on our list. Interesting that you mention Franklin & Bash, I've never seen it but I really like Kumail.
@JonT Oh em gee, you have to get caught up. Jon, seriously. Don't get spoiled. Just go binge watch immediately.
I used to frequent qwantz.com and theoatmeal.com. I loved regretsy when it was active. And when I'm willing to get caught crying with laughter, this site can't be beat: http://www.27bslash6.com/.
I also used to like graphjam, but it's not as good anymore. There are also an assortment of cat sites I browsed when bored, but the internet is made of cats so no need to share those.
ThinkGeek, I think.
