Eh... Meh's flaky web servers messed up my button clicking streak a long time ago. They seem to randomly forget my daily button press every few weeks or so.
I messed up my streak ages ago. Now I'm aiming for just 100 in a row (was so close before, closer now). Then I'm going to not click it on day 101 so my OCD can be happy at the nice round number of meh clicks in a row.
I messed mine up on my camping and hiking trip on Thanksgiving. My husband was not sympathetic. However, camping and hiking the 50 miles was well worth the missing clicks.
@tightwad Palo Duro and Caprock Canyons for day hikes. Big Bend for backpacking. We average about 10-14 miles on a day hike. We are too lazy to backpack anymore. Plus, I am too spoiled to a/c and heat from my rv. Lone Star Trail is fun, too., but too easy.
@luvche21 In my younger years, I backpacked all the time. Now we just day hike. I haven't been to that part of Utah, but spent a week in Moab for day hikes, rock climbing, canyoneering and 4-wheeling. Had a blast. Will go back to Utah for Bryce Canyon in a couple of years.
@PyxienTX That part of Utah (the Uintas) is completely different than the red rock of southern Utah. Both are fantastic. I spent lots of time camping/hiking/backpacking/fishing up there. But, nothing beats southern Utah -- I just drove through part of it on my way back to visit family in northern Utah. AMAZING landscape. Arches National Park is definitely my favorite down there.
@smilingjack Yes, should have flown if we had the cash. My wife, 8 month old and I carpooled with another family back to our home state. With 4 drivers, we plowed on through the whole trip without many breaks. What would have cost us ~$700-$800 cost us ~$150. And yes, we're fairly young-ish.
@luvche21 Wait, you spent 32 hours in the car WITH ANOTHER FAMILY? 6 hours is my limit with my own family, and if you were all taking turns driving, you couldn't self medicate. That is some impressive tolerance, and I think you need to publish a book or blog about it. We all need to learn real life coping skills.
@Pamtha One blog, coming up! Yeah, and the other family had 2 kids (2 and 4 years old). We're all pretty chill, and the 3 kids did pretty well too. Our 8 month old had the hardest time, but even then he only cried hard a few times. But, I'm super not looking forward to the trip home.
I already had a couple of gaps, but messed up a streak that was to 82 on the last day of our Thanksgiving vacation. I'd be at 104 now. Sigh. Like half of my other, maybe half-dozen misses, I'm not even sure how I did it. I swear I clicked on that little bastard, but I never came back to check.
I got a smartphone for the sole purpose of maintaining my perfect streak. I was so afraid of being sans internet during my move in September that I bought a Galaxy S5 a week beforehand.
Since you can only see a month's worth of faces now, streak doesn't matter that much to me (especially since it's been broken numerous times now). I was planning to draw/write out stuff with my Meh face clicks, but you really do need a multi-month view to get anything exciting going.
Why don't you have a smartphone?
@neuromancer I still have a dumbphone, I guess I'm not cool enough yet.
@luvche21

@danoinct Yes! That happened to me too! I think 2 days it just wouldn't click.
@smilingjack Can I blame it on that too?
@danoinct This may have happened to me. 'Cause I can't account for some of the misses. But I don't trust myself enough to be sure.
Smart phone?
@nadroj This is hilarious, totally saving it for later use
@nadroj Barbara Feldon was way hot.
I'm sorry for your loss.
we know your pain, but there is a certain freedom that comes with a broken streak.
@JonT It really is liberating.
@Thumperchick @JonT The freedom is very liberating. Thank you for your condolences.

@LadyLeela That should be CDO, not OCD... everything should be in alphabetical order.
@elangomatt I like that!
I messed mine up on my camping and hiking trip on Thanksgiving. My husband was not sympathetic. However, camping and hiking the 50 miles was well worth the missing clicks.
@PyxienTX Where were you hiking/camping? Our area of TX isn't condusive to such behaviors...
@PyxienTX Haven't pulled a 50 miler yet, but would like to someday -- shooting for the High Uintas.

@luvche21 That area has great climbing and 4-wheeling trails, too.
Why were you in the car for 32 hours? That sounds like you should have flown.
Unless you are young, then it isn't that odd. We did it.

Ironically, I tied my longest streak at 60 today. Tomorrow shall set my record. All because of a couple of glitched clicks that didn't save.
I got a smartphone for the sole purpose of maintaining my perfect streak. I was so afraid of being sans internet during my move in September that I bought a Galaxy S5 a week beforehand.
@Trillian That there is commitment to being meh.
@luvche21 You're right, I probably should be committed. But, they have to catch me first!
@Trillian I think they already did if you bought a smartphone just for that!

Sooo umm well I missed yesterday somehow. 😭
Good luck to those still going with perfect streaks.
@Ignorant Maybe you didn't - yesterday's is white instead of black on the calendar- gave me a little shock when I looked at it, too.
@KDemo current streak is 1 :(
@Ignorant Damn. I would've figured you as one of last ones with a consecutive streak. I wonder how many are left ...
@Ignorant -So sorry.
@Ignorant to quote you - "HahahahahahhahahahahhahaHAHAHAHhahhahahahHahaha"
@Ignorant RIP in peace
@JonT Ooh, I like the redundancy.
@luvche21 I like the redundancy, too.
