Of course they wouldn’t.

Certainly Tesla owners, including Mr Musk, are far too genteel to go near these shenanigans.

It will only be a matter of time before you can purchase “sounds” of various ICE vehicles/engines to let Tesla owners “blend in” and to alert vision-impaired pedestrians to stay out of the fucking road if they can’t see where the fuck they are going to stay out of harm’s way in a conscious act of self-preservation. Their personal safety is the the burden of the rest of society. They have a duty of their own to participate amongst the living.

@mike808 See C. M. Kornbluth’s short SF story “The Marching Morons”. It describes a future where the majority of the population are low-IQ idiots and everything is run by a few intelligent elites. In it, the vehicles driven by the lowbrows have tiny motors, but have special effects that produce the growls and squeals of high performance cars to keep them happy.
I brought a cheap CB and an external speaker in the 90s just for that. Combined with the alternating flash high beam, most of Sunday drivers do comply when I told them to pull over
Hey ladies!
They also wouldn’t watch movies or play video games while driving.
Or “drive” from the back seat.
Just a modern-day Mr. Microphone!

Also, it only works while the vehicle is parked, FYI.

The Finnish video of the vanishing Tesla was excellent, especially the slow motion sequence! Hopefully the site visits helped Tuomas recover some of his losses. I think we all need to have a friend with 30 kg of dynamite, decent video equipment and requisite know-how.
@mehcuda67 My buddy, Stubby, has two of the three.
@mehcuda67 it’s not bad but it’s no cement truck.
Reading the comments on it hurts my brain. He clearly bought an 8 year old Tesla used for cheap, knowing the battery was shot and out of warranty, hence cheap, bought it planning to post click bait, and when it died a 1000 miles later blew it up for views…
The people on there saying what no warranty and omg he bought it new and only drove it 1K miles and they wouldn’t fix it… And… Just the stupidity. People can’t parse basic info/common sense any more. I’m all for blowing shit up. So he’s fine
