A Modest but Probably Hopeless Suggestion
6After reviewing a couple of videos about the results obtained with the admittedly pricey and hazard fraught Chinese traditional popcorn pressure vessel devices, I find I am intrigued. I can’t help being afraid that these are just too damn dangerous to have around typical Americans, because I have too much exposure to the degree to which simple and explicit directions can be intentionally not followed, and the disastrous results still blamed on the device instead of the idiot. (See “Just rolled in” on youtube for stunning examples.) But boy do I want one. They have some on the zon, but I think this is one thing I would order from AliExpress first. And yes, I would absolutely order the whole kit with the bags and the popping lever, because I don’t want surprises beyond the expected one of “wow, that sure was fast!”

Whut?
Dan was overheating the exterior of the vessel badly, which is why it didn’t heat evenly - and burned many of the kernels.
I really, really need one of these.
I don’t know why, other than it reaches my inner soul.
Or because it would be fun, one of the two.
So I’ve got one of these and a Browning 12 gauge. I also know how to reload shells. Kernels are a similar size to 00 buckshot. This might be the perfect opportunity for a bad decision. Not sure what the trap range would think, however.
@capnjb Depends on if your trap range requires lead-free shot or not.
China has some pretty bad history of putting Pb where no Pb should be. Like in food products.
Also, it would attract a lot of birds. At my old rifle range, you had to clear the firing line when one of the dumbass deer would decide to walk across the firing lanes. Don’t know how your range feels about birds.
I think maybe the deer ate too much leadgrass, and got extra stupid. Birds stayed away when loud noises were happening, except the turkeys, sometimes.
And just BTW, never shoot a crow, because the whole murder WILL fight you. They will not give up until…
Nevermore.
