A lot could happen in 9 1/2 months...

9 1/2 months ago from today, we got this email from a customer that his led light strips didn’t work.

“…They just stare at me with a blank and dull face. Can you help? Thank you. If you can’t help, I’ll take a pepperoni pizza delivered from Dominos. You could also do both…”

Hm… should I help him out with the light or should I order a pizza for him? Obviously, the pizza seems the right choice. @MEHcus called dominos and ordered a pepperoni pizza for this guy with a special instruction. Yup, a meh face pizza. Just like the dull face of his light strips.

The next morning, I came to work expecting an email or a forum post from this customer. Nothing. The following next day. Still nothing… Oh well, I moved on.

Then after 9.5 months later, he finally replied to my message saying sorry for the delay getting back to me and sent me the photos of him with the pizza. I could not believe it!

It turns out his reply was stuck in his draft folder and never got sent to us until yesterday.

“…I thought you might like this considering Domino’s actually made a pepperoni smiley face. I certainly liked it because you came through by actually sending the pizza. This is cooler than Domino’s drawing a giraffe on the pizza box. Although, it wouldn’t be as cool as if a hotel actually built me a pillow fort. It hasn’t happened yet, but that doesn’t stop me from asking every time I book a room…”

@KillerMangos’ next wish list is a pillow fort in a hotel room…
