@Kyeh Use hot ice-cream?
Scientists have been working hard on containment systems for plasma to enable energy from fusion. After decades of research, not much to show for it. Maybe small steps, contain hot ice cream…?
Put one of these on top of your piping hot cup of coffee for about one minute and the steam will melt the filling inside and soften the waffle enough to make it edible. A wonderful weekday treat.
I have one of these once in a while and am also still chipping away at the backlog from whenever the last time they sold these was, so these will last you forever. Good stocking stuffers and a nice thing to put in the communal kitty at your in-person office coffee bar if you’re looking for a way to get rid of the surplus.
@remqnf Caramel is pretty damn sticky, don’t really see another way (I’ve had these before). They’d have to do a big plastic tray with dividers or something if they didn’t warp them, think that would be worse.
@Commonwealth109@remqnf I live in Belgium prime stroopwafel territory and they sell always sell them by the bag in stacks, not individually wrapped. I’m not even sure I’ve ever seen them individually wrapped in the stores here.
@Commonwealth109@remqnf Individually wrapped to help maintain freshness. And it makes them much more work friendly. I often leave these individually wrapped stroops on the desks of my co-workers as a treat. I certainly wouldn’t do that with unwrapped wafels.
@robthedude05 They were also on Meh. Ordered one for my nephew’s Christmas present (please don’t tell him) - he runs heavy equipment on the fire lines here in California. Just came in yesterday; looks real nice.
