I bought two sets of these over last few months, one M and one L. I’m 5’6 about 160lb, 31" w, usually very much a medium. The mediums were fine, but a little snug with a tendency to ride up. The large are my favorite underwear. So all of this is to say, good underwear, definitely go up a size.
Make sure you look at the Comfort Republic link for sizing before buying. Even the 6XL is 44-46" waist, which is really 3XL American at best. Actually… here:
@carolqueen I have 14 pairs of these. Therefore I haven’t put a single pair through its lifecycle, but mine are holding up just fine. I do not treat them in any special way. They go in with the everything that my girlfriend hasn’t specifically chastised me a million times for not washing separately load.

I have these. Nice. The 4XL fit is equivalent to somewhere between a Hanes XL and 2XL.
I love these.
I would buy them again in a smaller quantity, but I don’t need 9 more!
Highly recommend though for those who need new underwear. Bamboo is superior to cotton in almost every way!
@OnionSoup Especially the sweaty balls department.
Unless you have washboard abs get ready for some rolled-up waistbands that dig into your dad-bod.
Too bad - otherwise they’re really comfortable.

@bperess1 The general consensus in previous sales was up 2 sizes - in my case that was perfect.
@bperess1 @Pufferfishy I am 5’11, 185, 33" waist and the L is perfect.
I think if you are debating between s,m,l one size up may be good. Obviously others have mentioned the higher up you go, the more need for 2 sizes up.
These are really nice. Recommend.

How do these hold up in the dryer?
@carolqueen we’ve just been washing and drying them (since June) along with other laundry without any special treatment and they seem fine.
