@Zeusandhera You should have attached the first one you took out of the box, attached it to the second, attached the second to the third, etc…you wouldn’t have lost them as long as you could find the first one…
@jmbunkin I checked out App & checked out the apps’ ratings! Bad News!! Check out all the ‘Critcal Rating Comments’! The worst was that the App is going outta business. Some were very confusing- they refered to a map set up to find lost items, but I thought a ringing sound from the tagged item is how it helps find the item.
@hchavers@kuoh “They look like just the right size, shape and color to entice the little ones to swallow them.”
In other words, they’re self-attaching!
@atomicmu Actually calculating the price per unit, meh is cheaper. $2.25 a piece. Overall cost for 5 at Amazon at $13 is lower cost but not per unit. Asuming you can snag free shipping on both sites.
/giphy costs less
@atomicmu@jimmyd103 when you’re doing the comparison you have to compare equal number of units at the price of $13 and then what is the add-on cost for three more units for $5 additional. So while the first five units are $2.60 each, the three additional units are only $1.67 each.
@Fej On April 11th they had a three pack of insulating water bottles for $12. My sister and niece both stole one and apparently like them. The matte black color(it was a pack of one black and two white) was the favorite among all and my niece effectively used her cuteness to snag it. Not really using the remaining one because I already am using a bigger one.
Ah, what the heck, I think I might have almost 8 things that I kinda care about where they are, right? I know I have $20 bills I don’t care about where they are, judging by my past spending habits…
/giphy indefatigable-honored-cheddar
@Bumplepimp If you have a septic tank - but don’t know where - them maybe you could seal one in a baggie, flush it, and then try to track it. (Tank pumpers do, indeed, have such devices).
I bought three, then read comments here which convinced me to unbuy the three, then read the actual critical reviews which were written by socially awkward and inept individuals that couldn’t figure out how to change batteries or don’t understand batteries are not cold fusion items, looked at the 1 million downloads of the app and determined it isn’t going away anytime soon so I repurchased the three sets.
So it pays to be impulsive, research, evaluate and be impulsive again!
Buyer’s remorse in a year is unconcerning.
Also you can buy a pack of a hundred of the cr2016 batteries for less than $10 on Amazon. They aren’t Energizer batteries by any means but they work and I still have 99 left from the last time I bought them. So even though they provide free batteries for life I wouldn’t go through the hassle of ordering one at a time through their app.
@Woody1 I was excited to buy some, then read your comment which led me to read the other comments which led me not to buy them. What happens when the app stops working after I’ve grown dependant?
I bought 3 a couple years ago thinking that they would help with my dogs as one has a tendency to run off in the woods every now and then chasing rabbits or squirrels or something. These are useless as by the time I was close enough for the blue-tooth to connect I was already close enough to see him. If these were GPS they would be an awesome product but being blue-tooth they are a waste of my time and $$$
@DM396 The company specifically recommends against using them on pets, for that specific reason.
It might work out, though, if you mounted your phone in front of the camera on a drone and then flew over the woods, monitoring the action on your tablet.
I bought the original model of these a while ago and I’ve found them almost useless. The batteries die fairly quickly, and they don’t stay in contact with my phone even when physically right next to it and I’m pushing the button on the Trackr.
Junk. Not worth the purchase. They won’t pair with any of my phones, there’s scripted email support only (phone and chat are gone). Essentially a dead product from a dead company.
I paid $20 for these a month ago. Now they’re $18. So I guess meh rewards the patient and skeptical, and punishes those who are willing to buy a product on the first go round. Thanks meh!
I’m wondering if Mediocre LTD bought both Trackr’s entire remaining inventory and its corporate likeness.
It now uses checkout.com, and lists mediocre sites on the bottom of the page.
Also, I have a bunch of Trackr Bravos and they all suck.
Ok I got my TrackR from Meh!
Yay!
but the TrackR map does not pull up on my phone…
BOO!!!
Apparently not working on anyone other users phones either…
BOOO!!
Rebooted my phone and TrackR will not auto start so TrackR does not ring my phone…
BOOOO!!!
Seriously MEH! I know you are MEH but this is the first product that I have bought that is really ERHM… MEH,
I actually like these TrackR Pixels at this low price. App works well for me on iPhones including mapping. Range is about 15- 25 feet indoors but that’s useful for finding lost keys and remotes. Many batteries were weak but very easy to replace with dirt cheap bulk 2016s. Pairing is easy. Tiny size is nice. These don’t have near the range of my Tile but the Meh price makes them a good value. They are far from useless. Already used one to find a key set that fell into the space between two couch cushions. The beep is loud enough to be useful and the blinking lights make it easy to find esp in a dark room.

Original, meaning crap?
I bought these recently, but lost them before I could set them up. I have a problem.
@Zeusandhera they’re probably with the ones that weren’t with the packaging in my IRK!
@Zeusandhera You should have attached the first one you took out of the box, attached it to the second, attached the second to the third, etc…you wouldn’t have lost them as long as you could find the first one…
I’m afraid I’m losing my mind. How/where do I attach these?
Undercutting your anniversary sale of these things pretty significantly, eh…
Ratings on Amazon are dismal.
@jmbunkin you mean these are really meh?
@jmbunkin I checked out App & checked out the apps’ ratings! Bad News!! Check out all the ‘Critcal Rating Comments’! The worst was that the App is going outta business. What about the most obvious use, on the toddler when it is tooooo quiet?
@hchavers If you can’t find your toddler from 15 feet away maybe you left them in your auto, or you’re blind!! Either way, my condolences!!
@hchavers I wouldn’t have these anywhere near toddlers. They look like just the right size, shape and color to entice the little ones to swallow them.
KuoH
@hchavers @kuoh “They look like just the right size, shape and color to entice the little ones to swallow them.”
In other words, they’re self-attaching!
@Doodpants @hchavers @kuoh Only for a while.
I put em on friends in fursuits so they hear a noise and can’t find it or reach it on their backs. Its great fun. For me at least.
@Aschdrw Is it fun @PoolToyWolf?
@Aschdrw @therealjrn I haven’t been ‘tagged’.
Anybody think ‘‘tis is a good buy?
Or a goodbye?
@tsveggie I bought them last time. Actual range is about 15 feet.
@tsveggie Not According to the App ratings!!
Can someone use these to track down some better products to sell?
@nolrak that would defeat the whole (or is that hole) purpose of Meh.
you can put these on your glass for when you can’t remember where you left your 4th margarita.
(but you know exactly where the first 3 are )
Sounds like the batteries die quickly, like a month or so. No go for me.
@Stallion Like tears in the rain. Time to die.
@Stallion That PREDIGEN {mspld} memory booster made from jellyfish peckers is cheapee than all this crap!!
lets see 8 for 18 or amazon 5 for 12.89 if no free shipping amazon cheaper.

This is the first time when i refreshed giphy, i got the same gif three times in a row. The same two in ten tries… Weird
/giphy giphy weird
@atomicmu @jimmyd103 But if you don’t need the seventh and eighth trackers, buying five is cheaper. And really, who needs eight?
@atomicmu @jimmyd103 when you’re doing the comparison you have to compare equal number of units at the price of $13 and then what is the add-on cost for three more units for $5 additional. So while the first five units are $2.60 each, the three additional units are only $1.67 each.
This is with free shipping for both offers.
/giphy stuff-no-one-needs
@atomicmu @jimmyd103 @Woody1 I cannot stop watching this.
What and when was meh’s last interesting deal? Actual question. Hit reply. Irks don’t count. I want to see your opinions.
@Fej On April 11th they had a three pack of insulating water bottles for $12. My sister and niece both stole one and apparently like them. @Fej @ponagathos Friday, July 19th 2-Pack: Poo-Pourri Before-You-Go Toilet Sprays If you don’t think you need it, the people around you probably do.

Me sitting on my pile of Meh coupons:
Me looking at what Meh’s selling lately:
Can i stick one on my pecker, aka, johnson. The other day i pulled out a hair & peed all down my leg!
@decoratedwarvet Sure if’n you can catch him.
@therealjrn My Pecker Looks Nothing Like Woody & How Did You Find Out!!
A lot of people in Utah are buying these. Are they sticking them on all their kids?
@fatterinperson maybe their wives?
@mfladd Why not both?
@fatterinperson @mfladd
Oh geez. I bought three two-packs of these just two weeks ago for $18.
If I’d waited, I’d have gotten eight for $18 instead of only six for $18. Well phoo.
I’ve used tile for years but it’s honestly lacking. These probably are too but it doesn’t cost as much to find out
/giphy pretty-fatty-queen
I do need more. I swallow these. Then track them after I release them into the public sewer system…
@Bumplepimp If you have a septic tank - but don’t know where - them maybe you could seal one in a baggie, flush it, and then try to track it. (Tank pumpers do, indeed, have such devices).

If i were covered in these, i still wouldn’t be able to locate my interest in this deal.
These seem like they’d be useful on TV remotes - which seem to grow legs and wander off in my house
seriously children, what in the fuck?
@carl669
@capguncowboy The roku remote is rounded on the bottom, and that’s the most frequently lost.
@capguncowboy Not sure these would help very much. I mean, I already know the remote is somewhere in or around the couch, but I still can’t find it.

Battery was dead in some of mine when I got last batch…cheap to replace
For important stuff, I’ll stick with Tile. But these are cheap enough I could see using them for TV remotes and, well, TV remotes.
I bought the original model of these a while ago and I’ve found them almost useless. The batteries die fairly quickly, and they don’t stay in contact with my phone even when physically right next to it and I’m pushing the button on the Trackr.
I don’t know if the Pixels are any better.
Junk. Not worth the purchase. They won’t pair with any of my phones, there’s scripted email support only (phone and chat are gone). Essentially a dead product from a dead company.

@dam091 That’s the way Meh has always worked. Prices go down until they run out.
@craigthom @dam091 Oddly enough, when the price goes up, nobody offers to make up the difference.
I feel like I shouldn’t have bought these, but I’m too lazy to un-buy them. 'Murica.
/giphy wilted-mewing-banshee
The app’s support link goes to a cancelled zendesk account. This company isn’t even dying, it’s actually dead. Buy Tile trackers instead.
The Trackr company rebranded as Adero last year.
I’m wondering if Mediocre LTD bought both Trackr’s entire remaining inventory and its corporate likeness.
It now uses checkout.com, and lists mediocre sites on the bottom of the page.
Also, I have a bunch of Trackr Bravos and they all suck.
Adero isn’t doing well either as it turns out.
