That’s a lot of sour grapes.
Will it get you drunk?
@medz if you take in all 16 bottles worth, most definitely.
You’ll also need to pee.
Rattage?
This feels like a step down from traditional box wine.
@jandrese glad you said it. What’re we going to do with 48 cartons of wine in a paper box?
@edyafree @jandrese

@edyafree @jandrese Halloween handouts?
Do each come with a straw?
If this is still available after three weeks, I’ll be tempted. It’s just too weird to be sitting on $100 worth of grape juice.

@Kidsandliz if you’re too hip for a hip flask

This is 8.45oz by 48 that equals 405.6oz for $80.
I am assuming Rite Aid prices $15 at 5 liters for Vella boxed wine.
5 liters is 169oz.
$80 divided by $15 equals 5.33.
5.33 times 169oz equals 901oz.
405 divided by 901 is 45%
Therefore, you’re paying a bit more than twice as much for individually boxed wine that (like regular boxed wine) will not impress anyone.
Also, I’ve been drinking. My numbers may be off.
@goldnectar but these are convenient individual boxes and not a giant heavy one

Slap a protein shake label on there, and it’s off to that public venue where both alcohol and glass bottles are banned!
Of course, no one will actually do that, and this satirical suggestion is purely for entertainment purposes. (And I hardly ever consume wine anyway.)
OK, I’m stumped as to how the red can be labeled as a “blend”, and also described as “100% Merlot”.
