@Kyeh absolutely not. Julep was a monthly polish box thing and just the colors did absolutely nothing for me. And the price! So expensive.
If you want cuticle oil, just go buy yourself a bottle of jojoba oil and some vitamin E oil. Add the vitamin E to the jojoba so it’s not quite so liquidy. Done. Best cuticle oil I’ve used.
I have it in a glass bottle with a dropper vial and a refillable nail oil pen.
@Kyeh@RiotDemon I also grow salad burnet which is amazing for the skin. I’ve been making a tincture and using it and some other essential oils to make a skin salve. Since I’m from south Louisiana my friends have all dubbed it my voodoo cream because it’s fantastic for ailments and I use it specifically only hands and cuticles. So if you need any hit me up!
@Kyeh@RiotDemon@sillyheathen Yeah, me too. I have been using the Julep polish for a couple of weeks and am pretty happy but I don’t know what the “cuticle treatment” is supposed to be. My cuticles are always a wreck.
Jojoba oil is pretty inexpensive. Here’s a link to Walgreens, I think I bought mine at Joann’s… Or at least I know I got the vitamin E at Joann’s in their soap section. Technically you don’t need the vitamin E, it’s just thicker than jojoba so it’s not as runny.
@Kyeh@RiotDemon@sillyheathen thanks for the link, I am going to order some tomorrow. It is starting to feel like fall which means dry skin season is coming.
@kyeh
If the brightener product/polish is anything like the “Perfect pink” that i’ve been using for 15 plus years and swear by then i’ve found a less expensive replacement! At $23-$30 a bottle I welcome something cheaper!

@RiotDemon
Have you ever used these? They’re insanely expensive on the Julep site!

Also, nail treatments are bullshit.

If my cuticles are really dry, I’ll put the oil on at least twice a day and within a few days, I notice a big improvement.

@cf1 I hope it works for you!
@RiotDemon It has only been a few days but it really does look as though it is making a difference. Thanks so much!
@cf1 glad I could help!!
