@hamjudo@outz I think the joke is that on a lot of items meh sells, people complain about the specs and how there are far better specs that are better value on another site. 205 is a spec but it’s an arbitrary one at that, so it’s nonsensical to complain about something you have no understanding of.
I first noticed the USB jack on the pancakes photo, and thought, “Not another #(%$ing proprietary cable!” Then realized they’d been stretched, and are micro-usbs…
@Woody1
Anker makes several, but price is different. Their 7.5W would be $46 for a four pack, and their 10W would be $53 for a four pack. Not sure where any of theirs are $15 for four of them, just checked Amazon only - but I’m happy to be educated!
@phendrick I still automatically think “Bureau of Land Management” when I see BLM. Another one that was in the news a lot earlier in the year - SRO - for me that’s “Standing Room Only” rather than School Resource Officer.
since I generally set my phone on one of these when I go to bed, 5 watts will be fine. If you keep one next to your computer (or wherever) you can keep your phone topped off just by setting it down. I don’t really plug my phone in often for that reason.
@1DisabledWarVet
No, you have to supply the “power in”. That can be a ‘wall wart’ block or even a cable from a USB port on your computer. My thing is it doesn’t matter if it is only 5 watts since you can so easily place a phone on the disc when you are not actively using it. If you are near your Qi charger and can’t keep your phone usable due to running out of power you should probably re-evaluate how much time you spend on your phone…
I guess 4 for 15 isnt that bad of a deal. I remember many years ago getting this for my Nexus 5 and it was a okay charger. I had several and one burned out. I think I paid like $2 for one or something shipped from China.
@ChrisHBelAir You sir are the consummate meh customer. Me too. I looked back at all my previous orders from meh…almost every one brought thoughts of regret. I do still use a coffee maker from meh but virtually everything else is in a junk drawer, a cardboard box in the garage or donated to Good Will.
@mehvid1 not at all. I often wish to experience the plight of the plebs, but I am destined to never experience of the wonders of a 5 watt wireless charger.
Who can understand these directions?! I thought they were wireless! They have a useless 6” wire that reaches no where. What Meh! They say its new but obviously the one package was opened and or returned.

NOOOOOOO!!!
only 205 kHz?!? come on, Meh!!!
@outz The Wikipedia page for the standard explicitly lists a frequency range of 105 to 205 kHz for frequency agile Qi chargers.
This probably means that your joke sailed right over my head. What did I miss this time?

I was excited till I saw 5 watts??? That would take 8 hours to charge a dead Ohone WHY???
5 Whats?? Oh, its only four…
I first noticed the USB jack on the pancakes photo, and thought, “Not another #(%$ing proprietary cable!” Then realized they’d been stretched, and are micro-usbs…
Meh anyway.
You’d still have to buy the power brick. You can get Anker with the brick for $7-8 each all day long.
This is a no’buy
/giphy cheap-junk-trash
@Woody1 It’s always fun to watch a professional practice their trade.
@Woody1, I was wondering why you have an order # if this was a ‘No buy’ & were you serious about these still really needing a ‘Power Brick’¿?
@Woody1

@Woody1 Can you recommend one that is a good buy? Preferably one that doesn’t need a brick.
Hoping that they will come in handy…

@accumulator, I might get these, …I just hope they work!!
hey- only 359 more shopping days until christmas!
@alacrity, that’s true, IF you wait until Christmas to shop.
@1DisabledWarVet I’ve managed to outlive my family & the ex got the friends in the settlement. I finished my Christmas shopping in 2017.
Maybe if they came with the pancakes…
On the model number: I thought “WC” was for “water closet” (toilet). Another tradition down the drain.
@phendrick I still automatically think “Bureau of Land Management” when I see BLM. Another one that was in the news a lot earlier in the year - SRO - for me that’s “Standing Room Only” rather than School Resource Officer.
@phendrick, I assumed it stood for Work Challenged.
@1DisabledWarVet @phendrick Or perhaps, in keeping with the Meh tradition, Worthless Crap?
No purple. For that reason alone – Meh.
Air hockey table not included?

@chienfou It worked! Your order number is: blinking-fancy-wreath

@chienfou, I was wondering if they really need a 'power brick’s, or if Woody1 was just being a bit sarcastic.

That’s a good price for Qi chargers … 2 years ago. You see, I am from the past and I know how these things sold.
@hchavers
If you can find similar ones for cheaper I would love to see a link… $3.75 a piece seems pretty reasonable.

5 watt QI chargers and you get to provide the 5 watt power source…
Meh indeed.
@un4gvn1 You provide the 7.5 watt or better charging source. These waste 2.5 watts while they transfer 5 watts to a phone.
If you only give these 5 watts, your phone will only get about 3.3.
The above numbers assume the phone is lined up perfectly and is very close to the charger. Everything goes down hill under other conditions.
@hamjudo Even better.
At least it’s not another speaker dock sale
I run my battery down often enough that I frequently use my phone while it’s charging so I’m more of a 10’ cable person. Meh for me.
Does this work for Apple and Android?
@rauer LOL
OnePlus does not mean “plus wireless”. It does have 30 watt charging, so I don’t really worry about it.
Was interested, but only 5 watts, no charging blocks, and USB cables that appear to be all of 6" long? Hard pass.
No name Chinese junk. “It was a complete loss. The source of the fire: a cheapo no-name Qi charger in the bedroom.”
Bought these in under 10 seconds. Didn’t even think. Now I am thinking I don’t need these. Ugh.

@accelerator ha! You mean the motif pour over coffee maker? I bought 2!!! Actually really like it. My best meh by a mile.
@accelerator @ChrisHBelAir Definitely one of the best offered here. Now what to do with the other 243 powerbanks and bluetooth speakers?
@ChrisHBelAir it is possible to cancel orders. Someone else will have to tell you how long you have to do that, though.
@ChrisHBelAir Yes! That’s the one. I wish I would have bought two. I’ve used it every day since it arrived. Really great coffee machine!
As a Oneplus family member, I cannot participate. I guess I’ll have to stick to my 65 watt warp charger that’ll charge my 8T from 0 to 45% in 10 mins.
@goldnectar Pardon me for not bowing down to your superiority, your highness.
@mehvid1 not at all. I often wish to experience the plight of the plebs, but I am destined to never experience of the wonders of a 5 watt wireless charger.
@goldnectar
But why is your phone at 0%? That’s pretty plebeian…
@mehvid1 It is important to know your audience. I felt it may be too complicated for your comprehension to give you anything but simple numbers.
@goldnectar I do hope you’re joking and not actually an asshole.
@goldnectar Happy new year!
@mehvid1 dood, this is meh. Of course this is in jest. Happy New Year and stay safe!
Meh. 2 foot micro-USB cable not a huge help. Grandkids will like them.
Who can understand these directions?! I thought they were wireless! They have a useless 6” wire that reaches no where. What Meh! They say its new but obviously the one package was opened and or returned.
I’ve tried out one and it already seems to not be working. Super Meh
Mine also does not work
I just got these and they don’t even work. Meh indeed.
Update. I can use these to throw at homeless. They got quite a distance!
