“Crafted with 100% natural ingredients” doesn’t mean what I thought it meant. Or perhaps the NIH is kidding when they say, “Sucralose is a synthetic organochlorine sweetener.”
My experience to date has been that flavored protein powders in general are less useful than ones that aren’t. I can add an unflavored protein powder to many things that provide the flavor I want at the time, where a flavored powder nails me down to just one. Those get shifted off to the “I’m going to forget about this” corner, where the plain ones stay close to the stuff they’re likely to be used with. Also, although I like chocolate, I’m picky. I like good chocolate. I have my doubts about this stuff being “good chocolate.”
@werehatrack
Agreed. There are times I blend sweet, leaning more on the carrots, and then times I blend savory, with loads of spinach. Chocolate does not fit that flavor profile.
@mbersiam@tweezak Oh yeah, I’m a big fan of it. Not so much the new flavors with Stevia sweeteners.
But I was trying to make a joke about the new Food Pyramid, instead of being a vertical stack of layers, is a horizontal one (usually with a person trying to climb it)
This also makes a subtle jab of “Soylent should be on there… wait, it is” (the climber)
I’m going to give it to try,
Does it come with the shaker bottle as seen in the picture or do I need to use the blend jet?
If I don’t like it I can always find someone to take them
Got them in and gave it a try.
Put one scoop in 16oz of hot coffee, has the taste and texture of having put a brownie and dissolving it in it.
Taste was good, just unsure of what to make of the thickness will probably be great in a smoothie with bananas

@phendrick aw shucks why not
@Cerridwyn that should be whEy not. And it’s so there will be more for you.
How many 4-packs did you get?
Besides, I’m dubious: Nobody said anything anywhere about this product actually tasting good.
A Safe-trite-onion says I will. Or at least can.

@sdb ewww, srsly, sucralose?
No for me.
@sdb hey… it’s doesn’t say “ONLY natural ingredients,” right? Right?
Like SOME of the ingredients ARE 100% natural, dude…. /s
@sdb psssch nah. That means there is no supernatural ingredients. Duh!
@mehvid1 @sdb You may be closer to the mark here than you realize.
@sdb Dirt is natural.
Is this protein for ants? Is the appetizer protein? Where is mama or papa ?
maybe i will…

I’ll pass on these.

Hmm. Ingredients list includes natural and artificial flavors.

@cfg83 how about “whoa…” and “no •whey•”?
@mehvid1 Let it be so …

I’ve never heard of whey protein being used as a meal replacement. Could be just me.
@tweezak When Billie Bob Thornton was a (literally) starving actor, he said he was able to live on oatmeal.
Just sayin’.
@cfg83 @tweezak Perhaps, but BBT has been dead for years now (ever since he was in a relationship with that other Vampire).
@tweezak That stood out to me as well. I seem to recall protein powders explicitly stating to not be used as a meal replacement.
Maybe AI mistake. Maybe something changed in the government that cares about that sort of thing.
Whatever it is, it was not just you.
@tweezak that was probably before the food pyramid was inverted
@cfg83 @pchops @tweezak
BBT might be dead to you, but otherwise he’s alive & well & performing in a rock band.
@cfg83 @Kyeh @tweezak No one said Vampires can’t learn to play the drums…
@mbersiam @tweezak it’s been reinvented now.
Though I still don’t see Soylent.
@mbersiam @pakopako It’s been reintroduced as a protein drink and meal replacement:
For reals. That’s not AI

30 servings x 27g/scoop =510g per co tainer. They are claiming 800g+ per container.
Hmmmmmmm
@godzilabob I think you might need a new calculator
@Superllama7 no. I need a new brain. Holeefuk!!!
What an idiot!
Thank you
@godzilabob
no worries!
@godzilabob maybe you just need a coffee + protein drink!
(I’m trying to get back on Meh’s good side after giving them such a hard time for the earbuds deal yesterday.
)
@mehvid1 more like another brain transplant. Lol.
Does Meh! Hold grudges???
@godzilabob @mehvid1 Grudges? Depends. Let us know how many cases of trakrs they send in your IRK.

Nah, I prefer the curds…M. Muffet.
