@Lynnerizer I actually do have some of the shiny metallic ones, but they’re jewel-tone (beautiful, too.) I thought it would be neat add those subtler shades. But I hardly use the ones I already have.

@ArmchairGamer From experience, that’s because the decorative coatings often can be damaged by the cleaning chemistry and heat in a dishwasher. I regularly put all of mine through, with no problems, but I have the extreme-heat wash and the heat-dry cycles turned off. YMMV. Stainless won’t care, but these aren’t 100% stainless.
Possibly the most important question for me is whether these use proprietary screw-in lids or semi-generic push-fit ones. Not that I am likely to buy a tumbler this small in any event, as I have plenty of 40 oz ones now.
@irenegade The video for the metallic one shows the threads. I suspected that was what would be there, as I got a similar item (much smaller) in an IRK a while back, and it was threaded. Do not want. Replacement lids will be too hard to find.
These seem to be sized for the coffee crowd, not the hydration folks. For the latter, anything under 32 oz is generally regarded as “tiny”.
OTOH, a 40 oz one with a handle, proudly emblazoned with a motivational slogan like “Boring Sports Drink” or “Nasty-tasting Energy Beverage” or “Just ****ing Water, OK?” might be a product I could get behind.

I am tempted by these, but “hand wash tumblers” and only the" lids are dishwasher safe" seems backwards and annoying to me.
