@Kidsandliz You would think that’s logical, but here in the Northeast, we have a species of dude who wear shorts year-round, sans jacket, no matter how cold the temp/wind chill, nor how deep the snow. They’re an “interesting” bunch; probably the perfect target demo for these.
@Kidsandliz@Kyeh Oh, i have no doubt. They seem to migrate wherever there’s snow & cold. I’ve always assumed they’re descended from the Yeti. I demand a David Attenborough documentary!
@ircon96@Kidsandliz@Kyeh And here in Florida, there’s people like me who wear pants year-round. In the summer, it’s for sun protection. Other times, it’s because I’m cold (Below 70 is cold. Don’t @ me).
@Kidsandliz@Kyeh@Weboh Oh, yeah, i wear nothing but long pants, too, no matter how hot it gets, but mainly it’s because nobody needs to be subjected to the sight of me in shorts!
I got these during a previous sale and LOVE them. The fleece isn’t hot, they’re super comfortable, the zip pocket is nice, and have a long drawstring that hasn’t come close to accidentally coming out. I’m getting more!
@troy Ohhh! When i clicked on the Walmart price comparison link, it didn’t mention women at all, so i thought you guys just made your own conversion chart to appease us feminist complainers!
got 3 pairs on a previous offer. the large zipper on the pocket stopped zipping properly pretty quick, and my phone took a tumble. as a toyota owner i smh at calling these the toyota of shorts.
Bought these last time (4/23, 3 pair $30), and they are very nice. Totally soft & comfy, pockets just deep enough to prevent most phone spillage, zipped pocket kind of superfluous (and just below the right hip bone). Definitely order up one size (at least): I’m an “M” and “L” fit perfectly. At this price point, these are a huge bargain if you need some…
I picked up this set from that other site. I like 'em. Pockets hold everything and they are comfy. Great for weekends, workouts or anytime where you have to wear pants, but don’t need to be fancy
I got these last time and own the Nike version that “inspired” them. Not too hot for the summer. As expected, the Nike version has higher quality everything (fleece, zippers, drawstring) but value-wise, these are a solid buy.
@Chakolate There’s plenty of products on the market for that (including this site sometimes). I like to have cotton-based or blends for just hanging around the house even in cooler weather and not necessarily for those 20 mile runs. Which I never have ever done.
I got the Meh.com deal last month, 4 for $24 delivered. I’ve worn 2 of them so far, and have zero regrets. These can be worn out, but I use them mostly to lounge around indoors or very casually around on the deck or yard. They are made pretty well (especially for $6 each), and are soft and quite comfortable. They washed and dried fine. The zippered pocket is convenient to secure a phone and/or keys, but there may be not enough room for those large phones. I went by the waist measurements to order, according to the sizing chart and got a great fit.

Who wears short shorts?
@yakkoTDI Not these models
@yakkoTDI Daisy Duke
I could were these when I wore a younger man’s clothes, but I probably wouldn’t then either.
Banana for scale?
@phendrick More likely, banana omitted for reasons that they don’t want to make obvious by including it.
So you wear shorts when it is hot and fleece when it is cold. And THIS is why they are on sale here. No one would ever wear them. Right?

@ircon96 @Kidsandliz We’ve got that species here in CO as well!
@Kidsandliz @Kyeh Oh, i have no doubt. They seem to migrate wherever there’s snow & cold. I’ve always assumed they’re descended from the Yeti. I demand a David Attenborough documentary!
@Kidsandliz There are DBs out there that wear sleeveless hoodies. So, yeah, some clown will wear these.

Same here. Almost daily wear - hot or cold weather. Today’s lower price certainly helps.
If they only had 2X…
ANOTHER sausage fest?? I mean, there can’t be a lot of women wearing these. Just because you add a chart with women’s sizing… Nice try, though.
@ircon96 per the vendor, the women’s is cut slightly slimmer than the men’s, but it’s still more of a relaxed loose fit.

Fleece shorts?
I can see myself wearing this while using a coozie on a room temperature beverage or heating ice cream up over a fire.
@OnionSoup You’ve crystallized the concept eloquently!

Y’all sold shorts once that were both lightweight and came in my enormous size. More of that, please.
These should come with a fanny-pack.
@Pufferfishy MorningSave has a yellow one to provide colorful contrast.
Watch the sizing on these. I think the sizes are Asian. Their XXL is more like a men’s large.
@densa And as of last I looked, while the size chart listed an XXL, there weren’t any to be had.
tech shorts? I have a feeling we’ve been fleeced.

I’m dating myself, but I had multiple pairs of Structure corduroy shorts back in the 90s. They were not cheap.
There are not shorts. These are Longs.

I got those same, can’t resist the comfort and style they bring.
But are they moisture wicking? No? Well, shame on you

Doesn’t seem like the kind if thing I’d wear out, but I’m in for a set to wear around the house.
