@yakkoTDI Maybe since they still have some meh can uncancel your old order at the price you originally bought them. Seems pretty strange they did that to you. @extramedium
Bought these in last sale. Live in FL and smelly kitchen sponges are a problem, especially during the summer. These deliver on their promise. Using same one for over two weeks and still fresh.
@opivp99 yeah that sounds right. I just posted that these seems like a lot more $/each.
Also what was funny is that instead of coming in some sort of outer labeled bag, it was just a bunch of sponges tossed into a cardboard box. Not sure if it included any packing materials – if so, why?
@opivp99 So these are 16 individual sponges for $10. Was that a 20 PACK you were talking about or 20 sponges (I can’t remember the specifics from that sale)?
@troy Oh well. I bought thinking there was more. On the other hand I used my $8 coupon from the birthday event so they are only 50 cents each for me plus tax so that’s still cheap. Yeah I could have used my coupon on something else maybe but I have bought so little recently as so much of what you are selling is a want and not a need. Sponges are a need, and it’s not in the budge to spend money on wants right now.
These look a lot like a sponge I got with, I think, some silicone food storage bags. I’ve been using that sponge to wash my breakfast dishes (rice maker bowl used to make oatmeal, travel mug of milk, plastic spoon) at work, four days a week, for over a year now. The sponge is starting to show some wear but I think k it will last at least another six months. It’s probably shed a bunch of micro plastics, but it has lasted a long time.
@jaybird Yes, surprisingly good. When I opened the box I thought “Well here’s another wasted purchase” as they don’t look like they will be good, but they are. I say “they” but I’m still on the first one and it shows no wear or deterioration. Scrubs really well too. I’m surprised.
@pmarin so $1 each last time. This time (I had thought 4 packs of 4, I am thinking now just 4 of them total after @troy’s comment to me above) 1 for $2.50.
@djslack Concur; they last. The S.O. bought two of them well over a year ago, and the first one is still in service. The second is still in its factory packaging.
I bought the 20-pack here when that deal was running, so we probably have a lifetime supply. (TBH, the big reason I grabbed them was that I could get blue ones. Blue! Not want green ones, want BLUE!)
I got them last time when they were 20 for $20. I like them a lot, they hold suds well and clean all the stuff!

So you got enough to sell here at 20 for $50 but you cancelled my order the last time you sold them at 20 for $20? That’s fucked up.

I also bought these when they were up last time. They’re great sponges and don’t damage surfaces.
These were 20 for $20 less than a month ago

@Kidsandliz this is a 4-pack for $10.
@troy So 4 of them, not 4 packs of 4? Correct? The wording was confusing since they are also sold in packs of 4.
@Kidsandliz Yep – we’re only showing 4 sponges. If it was a 16-pack, we’d be showing 16.

@Kidsandliz @troy what is this $8 birthday coupon I’m hearing about? I like birthdays and coupons. Gimme!
@troy @warpedrotors coupon was from meh’s birthday for those of us who participated in a specific birthday thread.
@Kidsandliz 20 sponges for 20 dollars. One dollar a sponge.

Damn you meh-- I didn’t need the 12 of these you sold me last time; would have rather just had 4 !
@caffeineguy are they good?
@jaybird Yes, surprisingly good. When I opened the box I thought “Well here’s another wasted purchase” as they don’t look like they will be good, but they are. I say “they” but I’m still on the first one and it shows no wear or deterioration. Scrubs really well too. I’m surprised.
Last deal was more of these for more money. I think this is more $/each.

So I got these before and agree with everyone, they are surprisingly good.
Unless you have four or five kitchens, four of these is plenty for a while. They do not deteriorate quickly at all. I will be sharing lots of mine.

Works great for me. I only want four.
I’d rather pay 4 for 10 than 20 for 20.
I don’t want 20 sponges around the house.
