That was us this year looking for every single gift I bought! And I even have a book with lists of where we put things in our 1 bedroom, 900sq foot condo! Lol
@actionPacked When they first opened up a new ballpark here in downtown Tulsa, @Lynnerizer, they anounced proudly their scoreboard measured 1128 square feet “bigger than some apartments.” I’ll say, my 3 br condo is about 1200 square feet!
That’s funny!
You got my curiosity flowing and I wondered how big the scoreboard was at Fenway Park in Boston (Red Sox are my team ) and it’s 3,767 square feet, that’s HUGE!
I’m glad to see that all the timer outlets are grounded. I thought at first the indoor ones weren’t. I won’t be using these for Christmas lights but rather for dog beds and chicken house warmers, some of which are run from inside my garage.
@pmarin
I’m sure they’ed like to know but their just plain old house plants. I want the lights for a couple of tropical plants I got bc I don’t get enough sun In the winter for them.
Indoor timers should have a “security” setting like my X10 timers did. It varied the ‘off’ to occur randomly during the selected hour to give the impression that a human, as opposed to a timer, is turning things off.
@richrauch Yup had those too. There was some good stuff in those, along with a lot of unreliable hardware (over time).
BTW I could pack up a box of vintage X10 stuff, new, working, or maybe not. ready to donate to a hobbyist/collector/victim. Send me an address and maybe a donation for shipping and it’s on your way, A lot of cool stuff including timers,debuggers,sensors. Might take me a bit of time to find 'em all.
EDIT remember the “Smarthome” X10 brand? I have a bunch, some NIB. All included if you bid an amount of at least $0 now.
@pmarin@richrauch Ah the memories… I eventually donated a giant moving box full of X10 stuff to Goodwill. I wonder if any of that ever found new homes… I also wonder if I should have just kept it to avoid all of the snooping, spying gizmos out there these days. My current plan is to just avoid using any of that stuff, though I’m certain my phone spies on me nonetheless…
@richrauch@shahnm yup. I already have all the A devices including watches, and 2 Teslas, so pretty sure everything knows where I am and what I am doing all the time.
Anyone have any insight to how well they can handle 1800W? They say they’re rated to, but they might not be insured to. Would be nice to have my old heaters and chillers on timers (I’m pretty sure despite their age they can handle an abrupt power cut out/in)

I’ve actually been looking for timers for my plant lights. I just need to stop by the bank and add money to my account. Xmas wiped me out.
@Star2236 What kind of plants? DEA wants to know.

@pmarin @Star2236- Maybe, they are Maryjane plants!!
