Hydralyte’s scientifically formulated tablets use the optimal glucose-to-electrolyte ratio to deliver up to 3x more effective hydration than water alone when mixed with 8oz of water
Backed by over 20 years of hydration expertise, Hydralyte’s patented electrolyte formula provides fast, IV-like hydration support at a fraction of the cost
Made with all-natural ingredients and no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners, Hydralyte contains just 3g of sugar per serving for a cleaner hydration solution
Whether dehydration is caused by exercise, heat, travel, illness, or alcohol consumption, Hydralyte helps replenish lost electrolytes and supports faster recovery
Designed for hydration on the go, Hydralyte’s convenient stick packs and tablets make it easy to stay refreshed during travel, celebrations, workouts, and busy days
@Crunchymunchy@hcavlnch@phendrick- i wonder if they even have potassium & or magnesium!! BTW, ‘Only’ 3 grams of sugar still equals 3,000 milligrams of sugan!
Polyethylene glycol, referred to as PEG, is used as an inactive
ingredient in the pharmaceutical industry as a solvent, plasticizer,
surfactant, ointments and suppository base, and tablet and capsule
lubricant
Referred to as PEG… so if you use this product does that mean you’re getting pegged?
@cinoclav@Tankshock I never hesitated to buy NUUN because of the cost. I don’t remember how much it was but it wasn’t significant enough to form a bad opinion.
Seems to have comparable amount of electrolytes as Liquid IV.
This is much cheaper, but doesn’t have any nutrients and has some filler materials? Maybe it’s okay, but doing the alkaline-seltzer bit for hydration is certainly a little weird.
It’s payday and this is what you all put on sale? I got two, maybe three days where I have enough money for an impulse buy. I need you all to meet me halfway.
I wouldn’t want to use this on a daily basis, but maybe having some around in my pack this summer just in case seems reasonable. Maybe my scouts will like it?

@caribou
Glad I passed on these.
I struggled through a couple of boxes of the Splenda liquid concentrate months ago. That stuff had a definite best by!
My go-to water flavor thing has always been the Wyler’s light peach tea packets in an 8 pack from the dollar tree. Been having a hard time finding them here so just broke down and ordered two (12 box) cases to be delivered to my local store. Since I use one sleeve per half gallon of water (rather than the recommended 500 cc’s) I think I’m covered for a while.
Well, these arrived a while back and I finally tried some today.
Do not close the container!
With the powders I typically pour then in, add water, close the lid, and shake.
I forgot they’re supposed to fizz.
Lid popped open and I made a little mess!
Also used too much water so the flavor was indeterminate hint of maybe orange.

Eww Sucralose…
@hcavlnch AND POLYETHYLENE LMAO
@Crunchymunchy @hcavlnch

Having none of it…
Oh my god, iron. Not.
Oh my god, calcium. Not.
Oh my citric god, vitamin D. Not.
@Crunchymunchy @hcavlnch @phendrick- i wonder if they even have potassium & or magnesium!! BTW, ‘Only’ 3 grams of sugar still equals 3,000 milligrams of sugan!
@hcavlnch Thanks! I was about to bite until I saw sucralose. Why not good old fashioned pure cane sugar from Hawaii?
@cfg83 @hcavlnch because Hawaii does not produce cane sugar commercially any more.
@hcavlnch @TimW Hrrr …

/giphy Darth Vader Noooo!
@hcavlnch @TimW Close enough.
Ok but why is one of the ingredients literally plastic

Moist.
@phendrick
Moister.
@phendrick
Moistest.
Polyethylene glycol is what’s in miraLAX. So … there might be some side effects, maybe?
@Kyeh No shit. Oh, wait.
@Kyeh And mannitol is a sugar alcohol that can have the same impact as sorbitol

@Kyeh @phendrick How shitty!
@heartbleed @phendrick @heartny
Yeah, I think I’ll pass - oh, wait …
@Kyeh @phendrick
No, you were correct phendrick, OH SH*T seems like the perfect response! Lol
2 tabs per 8 ounces. most bottled water is 16.9 ounces which would be 4 tablets = 5 servings tube.
NUUN is likely better if you are looking for this kind of thing.
@tweezak Agreed. Way better. Nuun is my go-to for skiing.
@cinoclav @tweezak
Yes but can I get them for 12.5¢ a serving?!?
@cinoclav @Tankshock I never hesitated to buy NUUN because of the cost. I don’t remember how much it was but it wasn’t significant enough to form a bad opinion.
Fine. I could use some cheap mixers.
Sucralose and antifreeze…? Nah, I’m good.
@Perfect_Timing Definitely NOT ethylene glycol. C’mon.
@Perfect_Timing @PooltoyWolf Not just ethylene glycol, POLYethylene glycol 6000!
It looks as if the electrolytes are potassium and sodium.
You can roll your own by adding a pinch or two each of salt and potassium chloride to 16 ounces of water.
@craigthom I do a quarter tsp of the “low sodium” salt (sodium and potassium salts) into a pitcher of lemonade in the summer. Cheap and refreshing.

@Michaelforman
I wonder if they even take that into consideration?
Good/great point!
Not recommended as a suppository…
@Bumplepimp
It’ll tickle your innards…nah
It’ll tickle Uranus…
@Bumplepimp I use pop rocks for that.

@ArmchairGamer It worked! Your order number is: wrenching-striped-cannon
/showme wrenching striped cannon
@mediocrebot Here’s the image you requested for “wrenching striped cannon”
@mediocrebot I don’t think his wrench is accurate to the period.
BTW… That last pic with the movie reference is pretty disturbing. Arnie has that straw jammed up his nose pretty high…
@chienfou Arnie got his nose stretched pretty well in Total Recall, so a straw is nothing for him now.
@chienfou @Doodpants Maybe that has been a secret acting detail throughout the years …
Director : Imagine a straw up your nose, … and … ACTION!
mmmm, salt & plastic
Don’t need the sugar (dextrose) unless I’m having hypoglycemia, thx.
Also… says 3g sugar/serving in the chart, but the product label says 4g/serving, incl. 4g added sugar….

@robinmeece
No…it’s a duplication!
These seemed like a good idea at the time…… definitely Meh.
Rather nasty combo of salty, syrupy, and discount store orange flavor.
