How does that get mounted with the top motor above the top plate?
@DJMajickMan Standoffs maybe?? Dunno, but that's an excellent question, and I look forward to reading all about it in your product review. ;^)
@ruouttaurmind you'll be waiting a long time as I'm not ordering one because of that design flaw :(
@DJMajickMan BTW, Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal has the same design flaw...
So they address the flaw with standoffs and a bracket.
@ruouttaurmind I like how the pitch motor is on the other side, easier access to USB/microsd slot.
Ah jay kay. That's the zenmuse, the banggood one is still on the left-hand side, similar to the Walkera 3D
@sportykev, yup, Zenmuse is the well designed one. LOL! But for $350 it ought to be.
FYI, Banggood has the cheap JIYI 3d gimbal on sale right now for $88.
@sportykev The FieYu Tech ninja gimbal can be rotated to either side depending on your preference.
@ruouttaurmind I wonder why they don't flip it, maybe too close to actual zenmuse? I never thought Chinese companies would be afraid to infringe on other products... The Banggood Eachine BGC was flippable too, just had to modify the software. Wish I could do that with the Walkera.
@sportykev The Walkera has theirs oriented the way they do to accommodate their iLook camera design. The VTX antenna on the iLook comes out on the right side.
@DJMajickMan Cutting a hole in your drone. Literally. We have a few drones and our Phantom 2 with the Zenmuse drone (even though it's a shallower protrusion) even had to have a hole cut in the drone. Totally harmless of course. The body is mainly empty anyway.
Wow! down to $80 now
@DJMajickMan I saw that last night. I'm almost tempted to try it out for that price.
