are these similar to the khakis from a few months ago? those were not good quality at all, the black ones completely fell apart and the other two are in similar condition
I’m that awkward middle of waist 33. Are these true to fit so I should get 34 and risk having to use a belt or do they actually run a little large like the negative review in the write up which means I can probably get away with a waist 32?
For me, getting jeans that fit is always a challenge. Mail order seems problematic even from online stores that actually have a decent return policy. I need to try them on!
Costco sells jeans & I’ve been known to buy them & then return them when they do not fit. 9 times out of 10 they gotta go back. Once they had a brand called Urban Star. They fit me perfectly! I regret not buying 12 pairs as they are now getting wore out. Recently I was returning a couple pairs of jeans of some brand or another & said “I wish those Urban Star jeans would come back”. The Costco guy said “yeah, they are nice, I bought 20 pairs”.
So no, buying these jeans would likely mean spending $33 on clothes that will go directly to the donation bag.
@Joedetroit That means there is a very slight chance I might buy these. When possible, I buy my clothes at thrift stores. I can try them on there, and they cost even less than here.
It seems almost impossibly unlikely, as my legs are too long for most pants labeled as 32" inseam.
@Joedetroit Yes! I hope these are like the Urban Star jeans. I had only one pair. Perfect for the warmer weather. I went in on this. Keeping my fingers crossed. I wish there was a link to the previous offer. This is a very rare occasion purchase for me w/o reviews. I usually go with the consensus and the 3 reviews in the description doesn’t help me. If the fit or quality isn’t to my liking, then yes, I will pass these on.
@irenegade@Joedetroit If these are similar to the offerings from Side Deal or The Other Site, and I assume they are very similar, then they’re not going to be anything like the Urban Star jeans from Costco. These will probably be thinner, obviously cheaper, and fit more snugly. You may like them anyway, but don’t count on anything as nice as the Urban Stars.
@irenegade@weasels I didn’t actually give you any info. Just my opinion on how I can’t easily mail order pants. I need to either be able to try them on or easily return them. Either free returns or buy them locally.
Lots of folks mail order clothes with no problem. Some people, like me, just can’t.
@Maccaroney I’m wearing straight-leg jeans right now. The thighs are wider than the calves. The jeans just don’t continue tapering down towards the ankles.
@richrauch Not since I was 9, but considering what I’ve seen in the younger generations clothing choices I believe it already is back. Maybe I should buy them just to fit in
@werehatrack Guess you don’t number then amongst the people of any sex who walk around with their jeans half way down their butt or with their crack showing.

I bought 3 pairs the last time they were for sale and they have been great for me. I bought 6 more tonight. I love them. Highly recommend.
@DJ, I have to ask… just how many jeans does one person need?
@haydesigner 9
@DJ Are they stretch woven denim or more of a camouflaged sweatpant/pajama knit sort of thing?
I’ve worn various iterations of knit jeans for years, but haven’t found a men’s version yet.
@whogots it feels pretty denim-y. The tag says 75% cotton, 23% polyester, 2% spandex.
What sweat shop, I mean what brand are these?
I haven’t bought jeans since a welding class in college 20 years ago, and I’m not going to start again today!
Also, I feel old now that I can say things like that.
I don’t fit into slim cloths anymore, and the stretch just makes it worse.

@haydesigner I was hoping for Gene Belcher.

@goldnectar yes, one of those things is probably true.
@goldnectar if these are the same ones I’ve got on here before (probably) I’ll echo the negative review

@Joedetroit @weasels oh boy. Thanks for the info! I already placed the order. I wonder if I can cancel?
@irenegade @Joedetroit @weasels you can

No pics of the back?
@dgfait That’s what I was wondering, too. I’m afraid to buy them only to discover that they have some god-awful bedazzled backside.
@Blahbbs @dgfait they’re very boring. I’ll try to upload a picture.
/showme a god-awful bedazzled backside
That’s entirely unsittable.
I think this listing has the most useless size chart I have ever seen. It provides zero additional information about the product.
Straight-leg jeans: because everyones thighs and calves are the same size!
@Maccaroney I’m wearing straight-leg jeans right now. The thighs are wider than the calves. The jeans just don’t continue tapering down towards the ankles.
Man it would be nice to have some gardening jeans I don’t care about roughing up, but these are all too short.
Stretch jeans and shorts have been outlawed in my home. They don’t stay up without a belt.
I can’t find the sizing anywhere.
@kunstkammer There’s a Size Chart link in the specs above.
@richrauch thanks. I need to learn how to scroll down further.

Who’s the goon thats spilling liquid gold??
@laurengx3 Someone who’s had a few too many?!??
Whats the deal with no 34 length, MEH?!?!?!
@cory206sea What, you’re not on board with the high-water look? Go ahead and start a new trend!
@richrauch Not since I was 9, but considering what I’ve seen in the younger generations clothing choices I believe it already is back. Maybe I should buy them just to fit in
The writeup nailed the lid shut on any curiosity I might have indulged here…
DNW low-rise or most mid-rise. If the belt doesn’t fall above the points of the pelvis, they aren’t going to stay up or be comfortable.
@werehatrack Guess you don’t number then amongst the people of any sex who walk around with their jeans half way down their butt or with their crack showing.
I’m quite tempted, but if the only option is 32 up and down, those are gonna be too short. Have fun, Oompa Loompas.
@pmcgrane
Oh hush, Daddy Longlegs.
/giphy pee wee pants

I’m shocked none of them are long enough for me. SHOCKED, I tell you.
