@dave@shahnm@Telanis But would that be so bad?
I am amazed as how much easier it is to find cheap double-walled steel water bottles versus single-walled.
I actually prefer single-walled, which is a simpler design, but those seem to only be available from the higher-end brands and are thus much more expensive.
@Fuzzalini@rjquillin If it’s anything like the Swell bottles, the neck is a little too small for the average home ice cube and the bottom is maybe 3-3.5 inches diameter?
@Dizavid do you have two friends that drink water?
Do you want to go three days until you have to wash them?
Do you want to keep one at work or school, one at home, and one in a secret stash under the bridge?
Do you have a trash can?
Do you need to amp up the excitement by having someone drop poison in one of them and shuffling them around to raise the stakes of hydration?
Do you know how to juggle?
Do you have a welder?
Do you have a prepper stash?
Do you need to keep the hot side hot and the cool side cool?
Do you subscribe to the theory that two is one and one is none?
Do you have a really wobbly table with three much shorter legs?
Do you need one water bottle and two maracas, and have access to some dry beans?
Do you want to drink water from one white one, and leave the other two somewhere romantic and see if you ever get some little gray ones?
Do you need to physically solve a riddle that involves getting 77 ounces of water across a river using only a one gallon bucket and whatever you have on your person?
Do you need one water bottle and two insulated flower vases?
Do you need one water bottle, one insulated flower vase, and one pretty small pinata bat?
There are plenty of reasons to maybe have three of these.
@Dizavid@djslack Good start… How about putting
this decal on one fill it with Mountain Dew, then leave it in the fridge at work before you go on vacation. If it’s still there when you get back, grab it and drink it nonchalantly… If it’s gone, you still have two more and probably lots of interesting stories about what happened while you were gone.
@chienfou Thankfully, mine don’t do that for the most part. They mostly wait patiently for me to show signs of life before starting to call to me, although they sometimes use my pillow as a path to the other side of the bed, stepping on my hair and pulling it as they cross. That can be painful, especially when it’s my big guy who pulls it. But still, waking up to several of them being so happy to see me can start a day off right.
@tread401 Not sure I would trust the dishwasher to get the inside of something like this clean anyway. The neck hole is way too small to guarantee a good cleaning inside but it would probably keep the outside clean. The only sure way to clean something with a small neck hole is with a bottle brush.
So when I grabbed water bottle (aquafina 20oz) I was shocked on how small 17" is in comparison. Wish these were the 1.5L, then they would be useful.
Yes, the one on the left is 17oz. tiny.
It looks like these are the ones where the bottom screws off, and you can fit a 12oz bottle inside. Is that true? If so, you really buried the lead here…
Yesterday Meh wasn’t showing me the number of times I’ve visited and clicked “Meh”. I thought it was a glitch, but today is the same. Have they discontinued that feature? If so, what’s the point of me coming here every day now?

Uh oh. The poll for today hasn’t updated.
Edit: now it’s gone. Oh no!
These would be better with a “Meh” logo slapped on the side of them…
@bramby2 Meh! Stickers … what!!!
Pretty nice but I have all the vacuum insulated bottles I need. Would get some if I didn’t.
17 oz is too small for a water bottle.
@versabox tell that to the bottled water companies who fill millions of 16.9 ounce bottles with the stuff.
@versabox No truer words were ever spoken. It’s basically a health fashion statement at that size.
This is my daily.
Cool.
I suddenly have 12 extra dollars in my wallet
Meh, would you be a dear and combine these into one $12 51oz vacuum bottle for me? That would do just fine…
@shahnm I’d think a drill and some superglue could do that.
@dave Whatever you need to do. Just let me know when my bottle is ready.
@dave @shahnm Water bottle centipede.
@dave @shahnm That might uh destroy the vacuum seal
@dave @shahnm @Telanis But would that be so bad?

arsenic?? At least they are BPA free, if they are similar to the ones at Amy.
If they are vacuum insulated on the inside, how come they suck on the outside?
How large is it; as in, what’s the bottom diameter?
@rjquillin
@rjquillin
@rjquillin
@rjquillin
@rjquillin well, THAT went poorly…
@rjquillin I’d actually like to know how big the opening is. It’s it big enough to put an ice cube in, or is it similar to a regular water bottle?
@Fuzzalini @rjquillin If it’s anything like the Swell bottles, the neck is a little too small for the average home ice cube and the bottom is maybe 3-3.5 inches diameter?
@Fuzzalini @rjquillin Freeze an inch or so of water in it.
because nobody’d think they were filled with margaritas.
Need ONE at most! Meh it to HELL!
@Dizavid You are likely fine to use just one of them, with little risk of personal harm.
@shahnm Yes, but I do not need to have two extra ones just sitting around taking up space I don’t have.
@Dizavid that’s a pretty good trick if you can pull it off…
@Dizavid do you have two friends that drink water?

@djslack Much as I like the original ad copy for this, I think it should be replaced with yours. This made my day.
Umm limit of three sets? That’s one pin short for duckpin
51 oz is an odd number for these weird bottles.
@hchavers makes a perfect set to split a 1.5 liter wine bottle 3 ways…
@chienfou @hchavers You mean more perfect than breakfast, lunch and dinner?
@hchavers @yakkoTDI Yeah, that works. These can keep that white you chilled cool til you have your three balanced meals.
I don’t normally post my order number, but this one sounds like Meh truly gets me . . . surging-horrible-person.
@CatFriend

@CatFriend you’re welcome…
@chienfou If it said “not a morning person”, I would have agreed, but since I love cats, I can’t say I’m in sync with the gif. But, still, thanks.
@CatFriend I like cats as well, but that thing in the morning where they get up in your face while you are asleep can be really annoying…
@chienfou Thankfully, mine don’t do that for the most part. PLEASE get some more long-term temperature-maintaining drinking apparatus THAT ARE DISHWASHER SAFE. Like the Bubba’s of days gone by.

@cengland0 @tread401 just buy a new dishwasher that has targeted bottle jets.

Summer is around the corner… is what I keep telling myself.
@xEBRONx It must be. The pool temp is up to 75 already!

Yes, the one on the left is 17oz. tiny.
@outdoorslife I don’t know, a 17" water bottle seems pretty big to me! (that’s the one on the right I’m guessing)
@outdoorslife The one in the left is 9oz. I think the two on the right are 25oz… 17oz not pictured!
It looks like these are the ones where the bottom screws off, and you can fit a 12oz bottle inside. Is that true? If so, you really buried the lead here…
@GeckoD Not likely if they’re vacuum insulated.
Hopefully these will prevent the problem suggested by my order #:
