24-Pack: ChocZero Keto Milk Chocolate Coconut Double Dipped Roasted Almonds (3.5oz Bags)
Condition: New
Best by Date: 10/25/22 - 11/3/22
The perfect keto snack!
Our real milk chocolate coconut almonds are just like the chocolate dipped almonds you would find in the bulk candy bin in a grocery store with a twist! Each nut is a lightly roasted almond coated in a layer of real coconut sugar free candy that’s dipped in a thick layer of sweet no sugar added chocolate. These aren’t cocoa dusted or skinny, they’re a diamond in the rough: our chocolate almonds are filled with joy.
MONK FRUIT SWEETENED WITH NO ADDED SUGAR, NO STEVIA, AND NO SUGAR ALCOHOLS:
Erythritol? Maltitol? We have ZERO. The 0 stands for ChocZero: chocolate with zero sugar added and zero junk. Don’t be blue, we don’t use artificial sweeteners so there’s no after taste in our keto food.These will fit right into your meal plan for your sugar-free and healthy lifestyle.
Keto friendly with low net carbs:
Our ChocZero Almonds are a delicious treat for a less sugar diet. Less sugar is good for diabetics and high fiber helps manage sweet cravings for easier weight loss. Our low glycemic index comes from our high prebiotic fiber which adds just the right amount of treat for your keto snacks. We’re diet friendly, keto friendly, and kid friendly. Cut sugar and try this carb reduced keto treat.
NON-GMO, GLUTEN FREE, SOY FREE:
We made these for everyone, even kids snacks. Each individually wrapped snack pack is deliciously healthy and filled with fresh almonds covered in a good chocolate that’s low carb.
I just bought 10+ pounds of Dark chocolate covered Almonds for $4.99/lb. price is similar, but I greatly prefer Dark Chocolate over milk chocolate…Almond Joy is IMHO inferior to Mounds. The almonds do not = the difference between milk and dark chocolate.
@pilot
Congratulations on the 50lbs you’ve lost, that’s a huge accomplishment!! Have you found it easy to stick with the keto diet and are you exercising along with it?
@pilot
Thanks for the info, I appreciate you mentioning the Ozempic. I’m going to look into it to see if it might be beneficial with my high A1C.
Of course any weight loss is a welcome plus!! Lol
@Lynnerizer@pilot Just chiming in about being ‘easy to stick with’. It gets easier by the day, nowadays. I’ve been doing keto for – holy crap – just about ten years now. Time flies. But popularity and companies learning they can make money off of me has really made this less restrictive. Products like this as well as (no joke) zero carb bread just make shopping more expensive but I don’t feel like I’m ‘denying myself’ like I used to in ~2014.
Couple things I’ve learned in that time:
The modern “keto” mentality is pretty wrong about some things. “LCHF” – or at least the “HF” is. This is really just branding for a low-carb/high-protein diet.
I didn’t do any exercise for the first ~7 years, but quarantine (or rather the threat of #hotvaxsummer) had me start. Adding some lifting and general muscle gain into the diet raises your basal metabolic rate and makes the diet work even better! Just a couple times a week made a huge difference for me.
I was never truly overweight, but my prosthetic leg didn’t fit great with the tiny weekly changes that were happening while I at a carb-rich diet. So - not for everyone, I’m sure - but it sure works for staying the EXACT same weight.
TL;DR: Sure, buy the almonds! They’re definitely cheaper than the fancy keto treats at the grocery store!
@Fourhundred57@pilot
I appreciate the info. A few years ago staying at the same weight would have been just fine but unfortunately now I have to get to losing! Now that cold weather is here and the pool is closed, and with my fused hip and other physical limitations, I’m thinking chair yoga or just movement will be where I need to start. It’s a real shame that I let myself slip into such a sedative lifestyle, more so in the last 2 years and of course that’s when the big pounds came on. Time for many changes!
The other things I’ve ordered from ChocZero have been good, but I’m not a fan of milk chocolate or almonds. If you are, I’d say that they’re probably worth getting.
Curious: would “Non-GMO Resistant Dextrin” (not even sure what that is, but makes me think of dextrose) qualify as an artificial sweetener (despite the ad copy’s claim)?
“No added sugar! We just took monk fruit, pressed it for its juice, reduced that juice to a syrup, and used that syrup to make chocolate! No added sugar at all!”
@mokiejovis When things are sweetened with apple juice or whatever that would be accurate sarcasm. Monk fruit extract is more like a stevia or erythritol or xylitol though - “no artificial sweeteners, just a sweetener we very naturally extracted from plant matter using chemicals and/or machinery.”
@mokiejovis I appreciated it though, because it made me realize that “monk fruit extract” has done a clever marketing by not being called some chemical-sounding name for the extract substance. Similar to listing xylitol as “birch bark extract” so it sounds natural and good for you.
@ravenblack My knee-jerk reaction was from some ketchup that I saw in the supermarket. “Keto friendly! No added sugar!” Yeah, it was sweetened with condensed balsamic vinegar. Basically liquid sugar.
They’ll probably end up with the Sriracha Roasted Edamame beans I ordered too much of and expectedly got sick of. They’re now in back corner of the pantry thinking they’re mushrooms, waiting for civilization to collapse, so that I can trade them for ammo and liquor.
The word “keto” has an intensely negative effect on both my digestive tract and hypothalamus. Why not just eat 8-10 plain almonds and a small piece of dark chocolate?
I doubled up on these because the price is a steal, however I just remembered sometimes choczero stuff undergoes a flavor change (for the worse) when it gets too warm in shipping. So that’s probably the real reason why they are so cheap. But if not, I will have no trouble devouring them before any and all expiration dates.

@bgammill @Curllyq I wish they made a dark chocolate almond joy
@Curllyq @thechilipepper0
Agreed
@bgammill @Curllyq Amen, Brother!!
@bgammill @Curllyq where did you find that for $5/lb?
/giphy fucking nuts
Okay, so what form of severe gastrointestinal distress do these cause?
@awk Well, that’s typically caused by sugar alcohols, and they say none of that in these, so I’m going to give 'em a spin.
I might have to buy these. I’ve been on a keto-esq diet since March of this year and down 50 pounds. Must resist. Or not.
@pilot
Congratulations on the 50lbs you’ve lost, that’s a huge accomplishment!! Have you found it easy to stick with the keto diet and are you exercising along with it?
@Lynnerizer just a change in diet. No exercise. Also Ozempic medicine.
@pilot
Thanks for the info, I appreciate you mentioning the Ozempic. I’m going to look into it to see if it might be beneficial with my high A1C.
Of course any weight loss is a welcome plus!! Lol
@Lynnerizer honestly I am convinced the loss is like 80% diet and 20% Ozempic. My A1C wasn’t too terrible. But it’s helped too.

I like ChocZero’s bars, so I’ll give these a chance. For science.
@bodly
/image for science!
@bodly Not really great for me. Too sweet. I would have far preferred dark chocolate.
The other things I’ve ordered from ChocZero have been good, but I’m not a fan of milk chocolate or almonds. If you are, I’d say that they’re probably worth getting.
Why not offer a bag of salted urine and anthrax derived perfumes?
@twinesurge You’re about five quarters short of a dollar there bud
@twinesurge It’s a COVID/supply chain thing. Otherwise…
Dude, where did you get chocolate covered almonds for 4.99 lb ?
Non GMO??
@lcole352002
On sale @ sprouts food store. They used to go on sale for $3.99/lb. haven’t seen the $3.99 since last November!

@MrNews Well, for one thing, there’d be a lot less useless packaging waste if you do it that way.
Anna is a liar, all keto chocolate tastes like crap. Some less crappy than others, but still crap.
@blaineg Ive had their hazelnut spread and it is very tasty. Does not taste keto like at all
@blaineg some of their stuff (not these as much, though they are decent) is legit tasty, the main problem is generally the price
“Milk Chocolate Style”?? Since when does chocolate have style???
@mikibell When it’s not actually chocolate.
Why do they need to be individually wrapped? So it takes longer to eat the whole bag?
This is Keto, but more on the side of dirty Keto. A couple of ingredients are just terrible.
This is barely even keto. 30g of carbs per package? Yikes.
@bluecolor you don’t count the fiber, so it’s more like 11 - I make up for it by eating 3 bags at once
I doubled up on these because the price is a steal, however I just remembered sometimes choczero stuff undergoes a flavor change (for the worse) when it gets too warm in shipping. Given the water crisis in California… should you really be selling these?
Deez Nutz is SOLD OUT!
I guess I should’ve tried them since everyone else did….
These are yummy, considering less sugar!
Mine must have shipped thru Death Valley, they showed up today and every one I opened up is a melted mess.
Not happy with my brethren at Meh!
Good stuff, Maynard! Got them today, delicious and not too sweet. Yum, Meh!
Why do these upset my stomach?
