2-Piece StoraLid Food Container Lid Organizer Set (1 Large, 1 Small)
Condition: New
FLEXIBLE STORAGE: Five adjustable dividers help you configure different spaces to keep food container lids upright and accessible
ORGANIZED LIDS: StoraLid’s customizable compartments organize a wide range of small, medium or large container lids measuring up to 9” wide. A center channel in the bottom of the tray stops round lids from rolling around
EASY TO REACH: Built-in handles make it a cinch to grab and slide the whole organizer if you need to bring lids out for a closer look
QUICK SET UP: Just pull out of the box, add dividers (where you want) and load your container lids, no tools required. A speedy set-up means your lid collection will be organized in just a couple minutes – you can do it
MADE TO FIT: The Small StoraLid Container Lid Organizer measures 10.6” deep, 8.3” wide and 3.3” tall to fit standard cabinets, pantry shelves, and deep drawers. The Large StoraLid Container Lid Organizer measures 10.4” deep, 13.2” wide and 3.3” tall to fit standard cabinets, pantry shelves, and deep drawers. Made from high-quality, BPA-free plastic that is easy to clean.
For a tight wad like myself I think I would probably just cut a box in half or use my loaf pan (that’s only used once every 3 years or so) to store my lids before paying $15.
Just a thought…
I think Meh forgot who they’re selling to.
Is this the Youcopia brand? (edit: yes) I bought some of their other organizer products recently, but not these because they looked flimsy. Of course, these would be the ones Meh gets a hold of.
I have the tall version of this and it works pretty well for the snap over lids for glass containers. It’s reasonably sturdy and doesn’t slide around the shelf at all. I am sure the smaller ones would work well for the plastic container lids shown.
@stinks, in the spirit of whataboutism, what about Tops, Re-bots & Super re-tards,…whatever,… that sounded better in my head, in my imagination & pre-commenting!!
@1DisabledWarVet@stinks Or the lid, the lego and the super lover? You need the lid to cover up the super lover and the lego on the floor is to keep people from even investigating?
@pricciar Actually I see it’s for Special Olympics so I guess it’s a nice cause - it’s just kind of jumpy. Sometimes I star giphies but this time it’s because I thought your comment was right on.
@Kyeh@pricciar, we wee people, I mean, ‘we the people’ understand, but maybe ya need to put a lid on it afore your lego gets outta hand, or rather, out of leg, or out of one of those lid organizer things!!
@Kyeh@pricciar@rpstrong Yeah, that edit-to-randomize feature is nice. I’ve done that a few times when they are either not all matching the mood, or NSeFM (not safe even for Meh!). Usually after a few it loops back. And you can only Edit for about 5 minutes after the post, then it’s locked. And it only works for giphy, not for image or youtube.
“Youcopia” - how strange.
I’ve heard a little about “Eucopia,” an Indigogo campaign by Jason Toon, who said “I’m Jason Toon and I founded Eucopia. For eight years, I was the head writer at Woot.com, the original daily-deal site.” Evidently it didn’t go well?
I stack mine in a vertical pile in the corner of the cabinet which works quite well. If I get around to it I put each lid on the container before I nest them. This thing would take up more space. i need that space for the Trader Joes pounder plus milk chocolate bars I currently have none of because no Trader Joes within 300 miles of here or there abouts.
@Kidsandliz, yeah, a vertical pile is better than a horizontal pile, or a Pvt Gomer Pyle, USMC! Nonetheless, I was wondering how ya managed to get the lids in the corner of your cabinet¿?
@1DisabledWarVet@Kidsandliz
I’ve literally been using the Pyle method since I was going to re-organize my cabinets in early Summer. So I just have been tossing into a Pyle on part of my counter ready to be sorted once I get to the cabinets. So whenever I look for a lid, I just dig into the pile and grab something and go “Surprise, Surprise, Surprise”
I own these, but mine are red - same brand. I take my breakfast and lunch to work every day and use reusable containers and I have more than I probably should. These really did help with the lids. They are not flimsy and are very sturdy, could probably be used for other things as the larger one is pretty big.
The shallow box I use to stand lids under the sink really needs to be changed but I haven’t found one of similar size and quality. These are even better, I can wash them.
/giphy wiggly-cheap-toucan
I have found, from long and unpleasant experience, that lids which are not stored with their containers (even when there is an Official Lid Storage Space With All The Lids In It) are never found again until the container has either been lost, discarded, or permanently repurposed for something that precludes the use of the lid. These would be a disaster for me.
I thought the point of buying the stackable lid containers was so you didn’t need something like this??? In fact the picture shows stackable lids!!! I know because I own them and guess what… mine are stacked and the containers are on top of them like they were made to be….
What you really need to source is a storage container for storage containers, with a bigger interior than exterior so that ll the empty containers take up less space than their enclosed volume.

Just rip the lid off!
@yakkoTDI like a bandaid
@kus @yakkoTDI Like duct tape.
Oh god
It’s an organizer
For your organizers
@thechinglish That makes it a meta-organizer? Or should that be mehta-organizer?
For a tight wad like myself I think I would probably just cut a box in half or use my loaf pan (that’s only used once every 3 years or so) to store my lids before paying $15.
Just a thought…
I think Meh forgot who they’re selling to.
@Lynnerizer, Yeah, but, but in meh’s defense, they aaalways forget who they’re selling to!!
@Lynnerizer That’s kind of what I do - mine are stored in a rectangular food container I wasn’t using much.
@Kyeh @Lynnerizer Mine are stored in a food container that has lost it’s lid.
Is this the Youcopia brand? (edit: yes) I bought some of their other organizer products recently, but not these because they looked flimsy. Of course, these would be the ones Meh gets a hold of.
@awk So is U-copy-a of like Utopia, only just a mediocre copy of it?
@pmarin I imagine the pitch was “cornucopia, without the corn!”
@awk

So many lids, so few containers. Tomorrow I will see how many actually match. Today, I’ll buy an organizer.
/giphy warlike-satirical-sidewalk

@hchavers I have so many containers and so few lids. Maybe our containers and lids should get married?
I have the tall version of this and it works pretty well for the snap over lids for glass containers. It’s reasonably sturdy and doesn’t slide around the shelf at all. I am sure the smaller ones would work well for the plastic container lids shown.
Lid, lego and Superlego are funnier.

Staying in the kitchen: Lid, Eggo, and Supereggo
waaaaaaaaaaay too OCD.
@alacrity, I have OCD, but also have a weird compulsion to pile crap like lids under my sink, so…
A quick look in my cupboards made me realize I really could use these.

@steeltoesenator It worked! Your order number is: unqualified-unique-bead
/image unqualified unique bead

Hope these work. In theory it makes our shelves so much tidier! In practice it will probably filled with takeout menus.
/giphy peremptory-special-rhythm

@pricciar star for the comment, not for the annoying giphy!
@Kyeh apologies for the annoying giphy! I’d never done the giphy my order number thing before and this is what happens!
@pricciar Actually I see it’s for Special Olympics so I guess it’s a nice cause - it’s just kind of jumpy. Sometimes I star giphies but this time it’s because I thought your comment was right on.
@Kyeh @pricciar, we wee people, I mean, ‘we the people’ understand, but maybe ya need to put a lid on it afore your lego gets outta hand, or rather, out of leg, or out of one of those lid organizer things!!
@Kyeh @pricciar FYI: If you don’t like your giphy, choose the comment edit option and resave (without making any changes). You’ll get another giphy.
@Kyeh @pricciar @rpstrong Yeah, that edit-to-randomize feature is nice. I’ve done that a few times when they are either not all matching the mood, or NSeFM (not safe even for Meh!). @pmarin @pricciar @rpstrong
I’ve spent waaaay more time than I want to admit editing giphys to get one I like!
More plastic to put in my kitchen to hold the over abundance of plastic
You have to be a serious Tupperware hoarder to need something like this.
@Larry1977
For some reason “need” strikes me as a funny here.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Larry1977 or have a few kids. people do that you know
@Larry1977 I need two of them!
@Larry1977 That would be me.
Just like the 1970’s! $15 for a lid!
@danexton Back when a nickel bag was a quarter ounce.

Do you work at the Department of Redundancy Bureau?

@macromeh It was early for me, what can I say!
The shallow box I use to stand lids under the sink really needs to be changed but I haven’t found one of similar size and quality. These are even better, I can wash them.

this is the deal of the day ? really? comon meh you need to do a much better job then this, the dam jets lost and i come into this ! WTF

But what am I supposed to do with all those lids?
I have found, from long and unpleasant experience, that lids which are not stored with their containers (even when there is an Official Lid Storage Space With All The Lids In It) are never found again until the container has either been lost, discarded, or permanently repurposed for something that precludes the use of the lid. Not lately, unless you count the other sites.

@werehatrack You’re looking for a Fold Box - Heinlein was on it, way back in the 20th century.
Oh wow, this is the last of my 15x $5 IRK codes…

I wasn’t sure this day would come.
/giphy highfalutin-pedestrian-farmer
This product doesn’t accomplish anything that setting the lids down on any flat surface couldn’t.
If I could find a good organizer I’d marry her.
After mocking these as silly I came around and had to buy.
/giphy warty-shocked-discovery

Is Leroy’s last name Jenkins?
very excited!! need the organization with roommates that can’t do it on their own
/giphy killer-contemptible-attack

@Bretterson I actually wish I had gotten a second set. Oh well.
@Bretterson Nope. Still live and available to buy. Have at it while the button still clicks…
This product is cheaply made and the dividers didn’t support the lids and popped out. Will be returnin
