@dasanti1 I now have 2 hours of experience with the coolers.
I am working in a shared workspace that does not have air conditioning. It is a 6000 sq ft metal building with 20 foot ceilings.
I put one cooler on the chair back and one on the seat. I accidentally left the bags with the tie downs at home. Gravity holds the chair seat fan in place without the tie downs. The cooler on my back does shift around when it shouldn’t. If the fan is in the wrong position, the air supply can get pinched off. I expect a better experience after I bring that in, or I use some other elastic cord to hold it in place.
I am powering both fans with a variable power supply. The higher the voltage, the more air and more noise. Most automotive accessories can tolerate at least 16 volts. The fans move a detectable amount of air at 8 volts, much more at 16 volts. They draw 1 amp each at 12 volts. I suspect it is still under 2 amps at 16
volts.
People routinely use large power tools in the building, so I am wearing hearing protection with Bluetooth earbuds underneath. The fan noise is annoying without the hearing protection. The seat back fan has to be at the top with this chair. So the fan noise is coming from right behind my head.
I haven’t figured out a good way to run the power cables yet.
