While silicone may be easier to clean, it has been my experience that they don’t clean as well as normal bristles. Costco also has a two pack of OXO, which has a neat auto open and close lid and two extra bristle heads.

Says they’re $21.99 when I just looked it up. I also just learned that some things can be bought at Costco without being a member! Surprise surprise, you learn something new every day!
They showed another set that I liked much better but a membership was needed for that one.
@1DisabledWarVet@haydesigner@Lynnerizer if it’s the simplehuman one, it’s $52.99 for a plunger and brush set (w/ an extra head) each with their own little caddies. The SH brush head is slimmer than the standard 360° bristle setup. But the caddy for it is open at the back which seems like it would evaporate a lot better than the lidded stands so many brushes seem to have now. Less nooks to trap grime too and easier in and out.
The oxo one is. 2-pack with two relacemwny heads, at $22, so it’s a better deal for multiple bathrooms if ya already have plungers or prefer the round brush head design.

My mom has a Costco membership if I was seriously thinking about getting the Simplehuman one that I liked. Although she’d probably disown me if she knew I was even considering buying $52.99 toilet bowl accessories! After all SHE’S THE QUEEN of frugal in our family! Lol
Do any of you remember black and white label canned food back in the late 70’s and 80’s?
I have a silicon brush, it’s good for getting those ones that smear greasy poo matter around the toilet in a vortex pattern, but any of those shotgun shits that embed hard crusted poo deep into the porcelain are no go. Or so I’m told.
$14.99 for the pair, or $7.495 each. (For comparison shoppers.)
One for each of two bathrooms, or one for the bath and one for the kitchen to clean those dishes after breakfast with pancakes, peanut butter, and syrup.
A decade or so ago, I bought a silicone toilet-bowl cleaning brush from an MLM-ish outfit called Norwex and it’s been pretty good. I rarely have to use Lime Away or the like to assist with the cleaning. A year or so ago, I saw a smaller silicone one on a crowdfunding site and I backed their campaign, figuring anything that takes up a little less room in a small bathroom is a good thing. It arrived a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I found it to be pretty useless. Today’s deal gave me an opportunity to reflect on the difference and I think it’s because the longer silicone bristles on the Norwex one can do more scrubbing (or something) than that new crowdfunding one which has much shorter bristles. Or I guess I should say “had” since I threw it in the trash last week. Anyway, at first glance, today’s offerings seem to have the longer bristles (a plus), however the flat nature of the face of the brush seems like it will have trouble with the rounded surface of the bowl, let alone under the rim, so I don’t think this one would be a helpful toilet tool. Sorry to threadcrap.

@yakkoTDI I have a feel that given what we know about you, these would be an improvement over the TP you use.
Are you suggesting my toilets are dirty. Shame on you.
Mine don’t stink!

@haydesigner, I checked out Costco’s brushes, but the was no price, but are $4.99 S&H! Do you happen to know their price?

@mexicantacos

Don’t hold back now, those of us who are visual readers are going to have these images imbedded in our brains forever!
No matching plunger? Nothing says how anal aoneone is like matching toilet tools.
@hchavers
Here you go, this is the one I’d get IF I was a Costco member!

@hchavers @Lynnerizer $50 tho…
@ChrisHBelAir @hchavers
Yeah thankfully I planted that money tree in the back yard! Lol
How would these handle the great mighty poo?
@fuzzmanmatt BRING ME SOME SWEET CORN!
@fuzzmanmatt
What a shitty deal.
@medz No need to get pissy about it!

@phendrick or just $7.50?
These are the weirdest Bluetooth speakers yet.
@LifeOnaPL8 And that dock doesn’t seem to have any connectors.
Yeah. These didn’t get great reviews on Amazon. Plus, it just looks like it would be awkward to use.
@jimmyd103 I don’t get how it’s even possible to scrub anything but the very center unless you have a four foot diameter toilet bowl.
