@Pufferfishy@TimW This is why I have humidifiers running all winter. Can’t stand the static, love the hoodies. Though I would love a hoodless hoodie, or a sweatshirt with a hoodie pocket option in life. If I don’t braid my hair, the hood will snarl it up so fast…
/showme guy wearing a hoodie and his face is turning red because the neck is too tight. His wife is annoyed because he always does this when her parents visit.
I don’t like that the cotton / polyester blend is different in the meh stats (60/40) than on Amazon (65/35), and both sound like enough polyester to pill up
Do men really prefer their pockets starting at the seam of the garment? I bought a men’s flannel button jacket thing and the pockets are part of the seam and it’s just not comfortable to me. But it could be that I’m a lady… or that I’m just lazy. I definitely prefer my hoodie pockets to be in the front though.
If you’re someone who doesn’t use pockets very often, seam pockets are often preferred because they are basically invisible.
But if you’re someone who normally uses pockets, you’ll often find more comfort with front pockets.
I’m a front pocket guy but have a very comfy pull-over with seam pockets. I find myself using my pants pockets because the seam pockets are slightly uncomfortable to use.
@mbersiam I doubt they really like them. They’re supposed to be “invisible,” but they add so much bulk in such an awkward place.
On the other hand, this shirt appears to be constructed with a side panel, so that the seam pocket(s) are not so far from the same placement as a normal kangaroo pocket.
I just received these… it was something of an impulse purchase due to the low price. I have to say… These are really nice! I normally wear a 2X, but I ordered a 3X. I like the fit, and I think they will be quite warm!
@jimdkc I did the same, but I have the opposite reaction. I really wish I had bought the 2XL (my usual size, except in Meh shirts, which I am a 3XL). These 3XL hoodies are so stretched out and wide at the bottom that I look like Grimace (well, a green or gray version - I wish these were purple). My kid saw me in the green one and wanted to use it to camp out in the backyard. I also got my Amazon-like fiancée a size L, and now I’m in the doghouse; she would’ve been fine with M.
Oof, my order must have been misdelivered by FedEx. And the frustrating, nonsensical exchanges with Customer Support make me suspect I’m dealing with chatbots.

@stinks it didn’t work for me either! At least not on a reply comment.
@stinks And it ended at 11 central, it was trickery!
:swoon: /buy
Anyone have any sense of the sizing accuracy of these things?
@shahnm Threadfast has their own website and at the bottom is a “Fit Guide”.
@shahnm Here is the link to that fit guide that @tinkertime neglected to include: https://threadfast.com/pages/fit-guide

Am I alone in disliking pull-over hoodies?
Gimme a zipper front or it’s a pass.
@Pufferfishy
Me.
@Pufferfishy same! If you have long hair they are the worst in the winter because of static.
@Pufferfishy ibid. Go zippers, Go!
@Pufferfishy I hate the way the zipper is stiffer than the rest of the garment and sticks out weirdly when I sit down.

@mediocrebot Uhh… yep. That is indeed what that is.
@shahnm /image has died! And it was the most reliable of the text to image generators. Well more than giphy.
@stinks

/image RIP image
@stinks Well that’s f’n something, isn’t it…
@shahnm IT’S BACK
/image I’ll be back

@stinks Well that’s f’n ironic, innit…?
@shahnm But if I click it and “open image” there’s Ahnold.
Who knows.
/image do you feel lucky punk

@stinks Well apparently we feel lucky…

This is still cracking me up. Just thinking about her saying in hushed tones, “Damn it, Gary, you always do this.”

The total absence of a size chart both here and on Amazon sure does seem significant.
Chinese sizing, then?
@whogots XXXXL = US Medium (or Walmart small)
@whogots See https://threadfast.com/pages/fit-guide

@bemused Consistent stats if Meh formats for one significant digit and Amazon for two.
@bemused @cafeface Nah, they both might be accurate. Here is the product page at their website: https://threadfast.com/products/320h-ultimate-fleece-pullover-hoodie
The relevant bit(s):
Meh is selling heathers, not solid colors (at least according to the description…)
First pic I thought was those clothing koozies again.
@user87416901 same here to say the same thing!!!

Look at you fat fucks. Almost no mediums or smalls purchased.
@aaron1 Athletic fit, no size chart. S/M is a toddler large.
Fabric Weight: 290gsm

Does anybody have a good (understandable) warmth rating?
Is this Nick Shirley approved?
