@stryper2000 because the application you need to download for them to work simply does not function. I got 2 of them in an earlier bundle and just threw them away.
@parallelwoody@stryper2000 Which application did you download? It looks like there might be two out there floating around. One works (EZFit). The other doesn’t (and I don’t recall its name). Evidently I don’t swing my arms enough like Bigfoot for this thing to track my steps accurately when I walk. It only tracks them semi-reliably when I go for a run. The sleep tracker is a bit off as well.
@LaVikinga@stryper2000 the ezfit app is the one i used. It paired with the device once and will only crash now trying to do anything with it. I have a note 5 so it should not be a hardware issue.
@parallelwoody@stryper2000 I must have really lucked out with mine. I’m using an iPhone. I haven’t worn the darned thing in over a month. The thing is a PITA to put on by myself and doesn’t accurately track activity. Says I’m lolling around on my ass for much longer than I really am.
@parallelwoody@stryper2000
Should have removed the batteries first as they are the only thing of value. The rest as you say, is trash. Worst app I have ever seen. I think I have a virus on my phone. Ads popping up. SUCKS.
@Stallion wow! Thank you! I thought i was the last to know. (Although I really don’t want to part with the nice ‘boob’ trophy the meh community gave me. Meh friends, I hope you always consider me the biggest boob here).
The app required to use this thing is one of the worst on the market. It actually causes your phone to work worse. Read the Play store review.
These are a scam. This isn’t “mediocre,” it’s fully deceptive and evil. Stop selling these things right now and recycle them. Best thing you can do with them. They are worth less than nothing. Do the right thing and eat these as a loss. Make as much back as you can by making a deal with a recycling plant or something.
@Dizavid I have to agree, in all honesty. I got one of these as part of a Meh bundle and decided to try it just for fun…the official app slowed my phone way down, corrupted text fields and typing, and more…I didn’t suspect the fitness tracker until about a week had passed by. The second I uninstalled the app, my phone cleared up like magic. Now, I can’t speak for ALL phones (I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S5), but now knowing I’m not the only one who had lots of issues, I’d say avoid these devices. In fact, I’d go so far as to say these problems are why Meh got them to begin with.
@PooltoyWolf Someone gave me a very nice pink and white otterbox defender with that large clip holster thing for a S5 thinking my phone was that, which it is not (mine is an S5 iphone someone gave me when they upgraded)?. If I can find where I put it would you like it for free (well except for postage as my job ended last week and I don’t have another one yet)?
@Kidsandliz That’s a very nice offer! I would hate to take it from someone who could better use it, though. I’m currently using a case I adore - the Speck Amped passive speaker amplification case, and as much as I love this phone, it’s coming due for replacement soon. It’s just getting old :C
I received two of these in a bundle. Neither worked because the batteries were DOA. getting replacement batteries would cost as much as the product itself.
I got these in a bundle, and I wore one of these around for a month, then went to install the app. The app is garbage. I tossed both of them. I’m surprised you have more of these after shipping pallets of them to people for fukobukuro.
So most of the people around me have these right now. I have to say the reviews on the app are pretty right on - it’s horrible. I’ve wondered if there’s some way to read it with another app.
It’s a shame because it’s a nice, small tracker with no readout, which is what I would use. Getting 900 of them a few weeks ago inspired me to start taking better care of myself. I’ve not worked out every day, but I’ve been eating better. Scale confirms I’m down a few pounds even.
@Ozzie2191 Who knows you may get 900 or more in July some time. You know, since you impressed us all on the effort you put into giving them good homes with charities (which may or may not lock the door if you come with more of these kind of things)
I would say they are overpriced by 50%, My last item purchased was those message badges they were awesome I thought I bought the 50 Watt speakers last week for $149 but a Cpl days later no record of it, I wrote to Meh and did not get a response. This was the first time I can remember emailing them I thought they cared about a customer that lays praise on them 95% of the time. Not going to lose sleep over it.
Nice try, but I made a promise. I swore I would never pay so much as a penny for these utter wastes of material. There existence is a drain on the universe, visible in their very design. You’d have to pay me to take one, even if it was just to dismantle it. And no small amount, either. I’d want a good chunk of change.
If I didn’t already have one that I stopped trying to use (app sucked), I might get this 2 pack so that the kids could play pretend with then. They could be communicators or something…
The single worst product I ever, EVER got from Woot!, Meh and Banggood.com COMBINED. And I have got some crazy bad shit from all of these. I threw these out, not even bothering to be environmentally conscious about it as I was worried the other environmentally conscious people using the electronics recycle bin at work would pick these out and waste their time trying to get them to work.
I would love to find something like this that can track how much my soccer players run during practices and games, but I’m sure I’d have to get a Nike brand one for $100 each.
My theory is meh bought these for pennies on the dollar from the places @Ozzie2191 donated them to. Now they can resell and recoup some of the pallet shipping costs.
These are all garbage. Couldn’t get any to work with any of the apps. Why don’t you people test theses out before you dump them on unsuspecting loyal customers?

Super-Meh.
Omg - @Ozzie2191, I think you need these.
@cinoclav Tempting indeed.
I think the bigger questions is…they have some left after sending me 900?? Who is the poor person who made this buy?
@cinoclav @Ozzie2191 Do you have a link to show your Fuko?
@cinoclav @Ozzie2191 the first thing i thought of when i saw the pic was…How can that be, didn’t they just ship them all to you?, lol…
@cinoclav @Kerig3 Sure, here: https://meh.com/forum/topics/how-i-changed-the-world-with-900-fitness-trackers---an-april-fools-day-fuko-story
@Ozzie2191 Wow, congrats…I guess?
Did they even work for your company’s fitness program, or did they even work at all in the first place?
@Kerig3 well the guy running the pragram is distributing them. I told him no guarantees on quality, based on my own experience.
@Ozzie2191 Well, you certainly dealt with your “win” way better than I would have.
You guys must be tired of looking at these in the warehouse for these to be so cheap all of a sudden.
But, fuck, the write up got me. In for one just to take them apart.

I just ordered a fitness tracker with a Swarovski crystal for twenty bucks. At least that one is pretty.
VMP is back???
@Stallion wow! Thank you! I thought i was the last to know. (Although I really don’t want to part with the nice ‘boob’ trophy the meh community gave me. Meh friends, I hope you always consider me the biggest boob here).
@Stallion nah, just the free shipping part, and for a penny less.
@Seeds @Stallion Plus a crappier badge. That’s what I tell myself anyway.
Meh, listen.

But STOP selling these scam items.

@PooltoyWolf I don’t know anyone with a phone this old. If anyone on this forum is reading this it is up for grabs.
How do you expect to attract new mehmbers if you threaten to ‘gooble’ them?
All these fitness trackers make me really miss speaker docks.
Bring back the SpeakerDocks!!!
@Freedom1958 Moar Speakerdock!!!
@Freedom1958 I
can’tbelieve I’m agreeing with this.Needs more silver.
Oh. I just donated the ones I got in my Adventurer’s pack
@thechinglish I need to do that too.
“My wife needs one of these. I will buy it for her.” Says no husband ever. Single guys take note.
“My husband needs this. I will tell him to buy it.” Says every wife, and sometimes even out loud. Single guys take note.
I received two of these in a bundle. Neither worked because the batteries were DOA. getting replacement batteries would cost as much as the product itself.
@sjk3 If you’re near an Ikea, an 8-pack is $3.

On Amazon, 20 Panasonic CR2032s can be had for $7.40:

Oh, is there a penny squasher that accepts silvercrest trackers to squish? Because it might be fun to see these squished.
@kazriko Send them to this couple!

This sounds like a better idea than the branding NXIVM wanted to give me.
Meh sent me a couple of these in another deal and both batteries were dead. I’ll pass.
Exotic reptile trade, you say…
Lord those colors are ugly.
@TheFLP My kids would call this “Booger Green.”
@LaVikinga @TheFLP If that color ever comes out of your nose, immediately see a doctor!
Well I guess a pallet of these goes out in the next fuko… Guess they didn’t learn the hard way the first time around LOL
“Keep track of your steps, the distance you travel, the calories you burn, the hours you sleep, and the inexorable advance of the reaper”
I figured Google, Siri, Alexa, the phone carriers, NSA,… are already doing this for me.
@phendrick What about Cortana?
At least she only suggests cat videos to me – which is better than Amazon suggesting cat products.
I. Am. Not. Getting. A. Cat.
@narfcake I buried Cortana with my Windows phone – haven’t thought about her (it?) lately.
Oh shirt!
so, are they at all usable without the crappy app? Or do you have to use the app?
@moonhat i have not found a universal app that can read them yet
When will you guys get the hint? No one wants these.
I would say they are overpriced by 50%, My last item purchased was those message badges they were awesome I thought I bought the 50 Watt speakers last week for $149 but a Cpl days later no record of it, I wrote to Meh and did not get a response. @simplersimon no one cares
I can’t believe people are still buying these… I have too many of these and none of them work. Can’t sync the app.
Should of sent them all to @Ozzie2191
The few that I got from MEH bundle pack didn’t work for isht, no thanks!
@Jacobmmoore1994 FYI, there’s no need to alter the spelling. It’s okay to say shit here.
Spray with deet put one on each wrist !
I’m definitely stopping to pick up eight quartets off of the ground. How rich are you guys?
@stinks Great job spelling “quarters”, self.

If I didn’t already have one that I stopped trying to use (app sucked), I might get this 2 pack so that the kids could play pretend with then. They could be communicators or something…
@ArmchairGamer The batteries are worth something. Then give communicators to the kiddies.
How about if I just give you $4 and you keep the trackers

@Jonas4321 Batteries are worth saving.
Sometimes you have to tell yourself you’re worth the nine dollars in a personal health investment.
can we get a link or app name for whatever we are going to have to download in order to get this thing to work?

Meh should have sold these with a warning. They do not work. The app is awful. If you bought one, save the batteries and call it a day.
I never received them.
@jschiszik From above:
These are all garbage. Couldn’t get any to work with any of the apps. Why don’t you people test theses out before you dump them on unsuspecting loyal customers?
Complete. Garbage.
@Brainwise Whoops. Didn’t realize this was mine, and that I already commented on this crap last year.
@Brainwise keep us updated in 6 months
@Ignorant This was such a bad experience, I just might add another comment in 6 months!
Thumbs down. Couldn’t get either unit to pair with a mobile device and the app was totally worthless.
