@Num1Zero I was going to reply to your comment last week. Both Morning Save and Sidedeal have had them starting last week for the same price. And now they’re trying to unload them on meh.
@gogrrl You like them for the light, the sound, both?Do you have them paired for stereo? Was it easy to pair the bluetooth to all your lanterns for one sound source?
What’s your setup? How far apart are they? Can they last longer than 3 hours on a charge?
I ask because I want to use these camping for mood lighting and some background music.
@gustador
I like the fake flame lighting, the sound is okay, the pairing with Bluetooth sometimes takes a minute. One will pair, but there is a bit of a delay with the second. Never ran mine for more than an hour, so not sure about a 3 hour stint. I probably have them separated by about 5 -6 feet or so. Hope that helps somewhat.
@gogrrl, are they very loud, kinda loud, or not too loud¿? I noticed they were only five watts!! Does that effect the sound quality, or loudness¿? Just kinda curious,…but I will likely purchase them since they can be paired to truly be Stereo!!
I was surprised to see a reference to Transflash cards in the manual: why a card slot at all, and why TF and not microSD? How old are these things? The sale page seems more accurate, based on this description of minor differences:
Is the microSD card needed for the pairing of two lantern speakers? That seems unlikely, given no mention of one being required, but the scant manual also doesn’t elaborate on playback from a card vs. BT connection. Does it automatically play from the TF/microSD if there is no BT connection?
Use the Amazon link & watch the video demonstrating the similar speakers/lanterns. I wondered at first whether the video was just a joke, & then I thought that it would probably keep me from these things forever.
I got a couple of these in an IRK a few months back. Maybe I’ll fire 'em up and tell you how they sound. If I ever spent time outside in the back yard, I would have deployed them already.
What I would like to know is that the set I bought sometime back stopped pairing to each other - and I cannot find instructions to pair both speakers up again… Any body has any knowledge or manual that would help?
Bought these before, same price $29 for two
They did well on the porch for Halloween, with light and spooky tunes. They take a microSD card, so you can load it up with music and sounds and let it run on its own.
Got my money’s worth and will use them again for Halloween this year.
It is sad that my sleep and work schedule is so messed-up that I only can tell the passage of time and days by “is it still the same Meh offer?” So just now I clicked here to see what was new, but as it was starting to load, I realized “Oh, it’s those lamp speaker things that keep coming back” and sure enough, there it was. One hour more. Then another day begins.
Got a pair of these for indoor use; the light’s kind of cool but both speakers (individually and together) emit a hellish whine. Not my greatest Meh purchase.

I have these and I like them. (Insert your own witty banter here, cause I got nothing.)

@1DisabledWarVet
They can get loud, but I never turn them up to max volume. I think the sound is okay for what they are. Just my two cents.
@gogrrl, Thankya, Thankyaverymuch!!

“Micro SD cards can support SDIO mode, which means they can perform tasks unrelated to memory, such as Bluetooth, GPS, and Near Field Communication. Whereas a TransFlash card cannot perform this kind of task.”

@earmstrong
Mine have Bluetooth connection.
Flamin’ yawn. Time for bed.
@msayler, yeah, time for bedIt’s 5:35AM CST, but then again, I’m retired, so,…
This is a joke, right? No way these are back AGAIN??? Or maybe a slightly different model just to confuse and annoy us more.
Sincerely,
Confused and Annoyed
@pmarin, No, No,… It’s ‘Dazed & Confused’’ according to Mr Plant!!
These look cool, as in the flames give no heat, which is actually bad.
@hchavers aask me again in Winter. Maybe then flames will be cool, um, hot!
But yeah cool LED flames give us ….nothing
@hchavers @pmarin, Cool Flames Good, Hot Speakers Bad!! Kemosabe!!
@hchavers Unless the flames are coming from the cheap rechargeable batteries!

One if by land. Two if by sea.
@tweezak 3 if she let’s you DHITB.
I bought these last time and can confirm they’re not horrible.

@PocketBrain, you can play them in da house; you are Not gonna catch anything on fire, ya know!! They’re Cool!!
@1DisabledWarVet
IKR!
But I have a 1000-watt stereo amp with ridiculously long BT range inside. Maybe the lamps could deploy in the garage.
Bought these back in January, went to give them as a gift recently and one had back round buzzing noise. Sound was Meh…Best Buy has similar today:

Hi! Does anyone know if you can “pair” more than two of these?
@corishnakov The female ones will need much alcohol for additional pairing…the Males? any socket will do.
@Bumplepimp The party I have in mind will definitely require some Speakers of Loose Morals.
How does something round have these dimensions??
Perfect for listening to torch singers.
I got these last fall for my social distance Halloween trick or treat tables. They were great.
What I would like to know is that the set I bought sometime back stopped pairing to each other - and I cannot find instructions to pair both speakers up again… Any body has any knowledge or manual that would help?

Bought these for $15 a piece at Lowe’s.
