@LaserEyes Unfortunately, yes - The small size and light payload generally mean extremely limited battery capacity. And the cheap price means lower quality batteries that need to charge more slowly than your phone does (cheaper BMS).
One touch? Yea, one touch and they fly straight up and go back to China. They re-pack, ship to MEH and the sell them AGAIN about every 5 to 6 weeks. Not Falling for that for the fifth time, never again!!!
@G1@Neechy It depends on the product. My weather station has a three pole switch. These drones may only have an A/B switch so you could fly two together. A four frequency circuit would weigh more and add complexity.
@G1 it’s the 4 axis of control you have. These can swap from throttle/yaw on left stick, pitch/roll on right stick, to throttle only on left stick, pitch/yaw on right stick. It makes it slightly easier to fly for kids.
As an avid quadcopter and RC airplane enthusiasts, I must say I cannot wait to be disappointed by these! Honestly, I’m looking at this as parts to begin with so even if they’re garbage I’m okay with it. Go ahead, surprise me.

Wow. First experience with Meh. It’s been many days and the drones haven’t even shipped yet! I suppose the playful FAQ promising indifferent customer service wasn’t a joke. But I thought everything here was a joke. Confusing.
@Lexxus82 - I can second @smileyjan’s thoughts. I’m no shill so I won’t try and convince you to remain a customer. But in fairness, mistakes happen. Personally I care more about how a mistake is addressed and corrected than the actual mistake itself.

Same problem, as others. Offer said it was a two-pack. Ordered 2 two packs but only received 2 one packs. Reported to MEH today. Hope it doesn’t take as long for their customer service to respond as it did for them to ship and me receive half of what I ordered and paid for and should be getting for the price.
My kids (both under 10) can fly these no problem. That is until I crashed 1 into a tree and haven’t been able to find it/get it out. Should have bought 5 to have a few spares - and now they’re gone (again). So… success?
Ok, I ordered 2, 2-packs and got one. Emailed meh and I’m confident they will take care of it. They have been awesome at customer service. (Yes, awesome, not just Meh like I would expect !)
Anyway, got the red pack and flew them around. The battery lasted about 15 minutes. Not bad. It’s really fun and easy to fly. It has GREAT fault protection so if you fly into any object, it shuts down till you set it right and move the sticks full range, then it is good to take off again. Works really well. I’m impressed at the quality especially for the price. Can’t wait to get the other two. Thanks Meh, but you disappointed me because these are not…well, meh…
Got mine yesterday. Ordered 2x of the 2-package deal and got 4 individually packaged drones. Pretty damn good deal for what it is. I only opened one and while it appeared brand new on the outside with the sticker, there was packaging tape holding some of the manuals in place inside. Also, the remote had some hairline scratches on the face. Was really hoping they were brand new so I can give the other ones away but they’ll work as spares too.
Flight is pretty stable once you get it calibrated with the remote. Can get it to stay pretty steady. Flight time is about 5 minutes give or take. Battery gets really hot after flight and need to wait a few minutes before charging. The start flight button didn’t work but if you hold the toggles outward, it’ll start up. Haven’t tried the camera yet but pretty impressed for what I paid so far. Might keep an eye on meh deals to give a couple away but wish there was a way to verify it was brand new…
Also, these batteries are 450mah even though the listing says 340mah.
@kurwakurwa The only trick I know is that after charging, the batteries will begin to discharge. So if you charge them then wait a few days, they won’t be fully charged anymore. Thus, I’ve found it best to wait until you’re ready to fly, charge the batts, wait a few minutes for the batteries to cool off, then fly!
Expect 5-10 minutes of flight. It might seem short, but that’s a lot of fun in 5 minutes… and if you rotate drones, you’ll get 10-20 minutes of enjoyment between the 2 of them!
@kurwakurwa The other option to get extended flight times is wiring in a jst female connector and removing the stock battery. Then you can have whatever capacity battery you want from hobby shops but I’d stay under 1000mah. The one it came with is 450mah.
The second drone in my order won’t take off at all. The instructions don’t include any troubleshooting instructions. I follow the calibration instructions, but the propellers won’t turn on. Anyone else have this problem?
@rtcouey Hopefully someone will have a better answer, as I’m no expert on these. But if you’re doing the same things for both drones and the one just isn’t working then here’s a few ideas…
The remote control isn’t paired with the drone. They come pre-paired from the factory, but it’s possible they need to be re-paired. I don’t know the pairing method for these, but try googling it. It’s simple once you know how it’s done.
It may have a faulty battery
It may have some faulty wiring or any other slew of electronic issues
So I suggest trying to pair them first. If that doesn’t work, try pairing the nonworking drone to the remote you DO know is working, and vice versa so you can see if it’s a bad remote. After that, you’ll know if the issue is the drone or the remote, and can contact Meh support for help.
@crazykelly Would be nice but in meh’s FAQ they state they currently only want to offer a slow cheap shipping to everyone and don’t want to complicate things with faster shipping options. If you want faster shipping, try Amazon (at a much higher price). Can’t have it both ways, I’m afraid.
got the right number of drones per my order and my 8.5 & 11 year olds are really enjoying them; they have training mode where it’s easier to control. really decent drones for the price. def check the manual for the different modes - even has auto takeoff and landing.
I ordered two 2 packs, 1 drone for each of four GREATGRANDSONs, I only got two drones. What am I going to tell the two that won’t get one? WTF? I was interested in the item that was on for today, but I am not going to buy it, I am afraid they will cheat me out of it. I have been a pretty good customer in the past, but I am not so sure that I will continue to be a customer. I have been waiting for a response from Meh for a while now.
boy o boy o. wtf is taking so long to deliver. tracking says its coming from CARROLLTON, TX and I live in Sanger, Tx about an hour away but they ship it to GREENWOOD, IN first? WTF. Right now it says its back in Grapevine, TX and I still am waiting for it to be delivered.
@dahomiegeek Pandemic has hit the post office pretty hard. Delays everywhere and sometimes things just sit around in limbo for unknown reasons. It should get there eventually but I’ve had some stuff get locked in weird limbo the past few weeks. It sucks.
@dahomiegeek same here but some one pointed out we could get it faster and More Expensive at Amazon…I’m still waiting cheaply for 2 weeks. Yea, Pony Express is faster and we have no problems with USPS in California.
@RiotDemon That’s good. But I guess everyone who have ordered 2 or more quantities have this issue. If they know about the issue why not fix it right away and ship the balance instead of waiting for us to reach the customer care. Brings a very bad reputation to the company.
@kurwakurwa maybe you got a defective one. Check the propellers to make sure that the two sets are on correctly. A propellers with A motors and B propellers with B motors. Otherwise just contact meh for a refund or replacement.
Only received one order.
Used browser to fill out form, Some nonsense blaming the virus saying it could take up to 7 days for a reply. When no matter what, Pandemic isn’t stopping people from using the internet. If anything, More people are. Wait times should be quicker than usual.

I’m not sure if you realize, the pandemic is real and it does cause issues with supply chains, shipping, and businesses. Yeah, a mistake might of been made, but that doesn’t change the fact that things are slower than normal. They are doing what they can.
@pjjtlc yeah I thiiiiink some things have to go through a specific or designated ‘sorting facility’, so even if they’re in the same town everything still all gets thrown on a truck, sent to a sorting facility, and then from there gets shipped on a truck going to specific towns/areas, if that makes sense. (well, maybe not ‘sense’ as in why would they do that, but… LOL)
Update! Package no longer on 7 day vacation in GA, now at pitney bowes facility in my town. Was not even aware of these alternate universe shipping facilities. Wondering what happens now. Anyway looks like maybe to get here before my 45 day shipping from china package. Race is still on.

A: Shipping’s always $5. So yeah, we’re going to ship it the slowest and cheapest way we can possibly find. Usually that’s Smartpost or Surepost, which starts with FedEx or UPS and ends with the post office. It’ll probably be 2 weeks before you get it. And no you can’t get it any faster.
I’m getting excited! Alternate shipping facility to local USPS today. Not to excited, normally takes up to a week for local usps to find it and deliver. Not finding fault just stating facts. So it now looks like meh is going to win the slow boat from china race.
@MsELizardBeth check the bushes, trees, and behind stuff like air conditioning units. Drones love to try and hide behind that stuff. It’s like a Zelda game and you’re looking for money under everything.
Just bad luck or anyone has a blind spot on the left when camera takes video? I don’t care about the cam but just curious. Close one eye and you will know what i am talking about (The nose blocking your view)

If yours is still not delivered, USPS now has a big red warning sign on their page that now says “ALERT: DUE TO LIMITED TRANSPORTATION AVAILABILITY AS A RESULT OF NATIONWIDE COVID-19 IMPACTS, PACKAGE DELIVERY TIMES MAY BE EXTENDED”
I’m making another round through these cases to check into possible lost/delayed packages, and to add the other missing drones to our replacement sheet. (If yours ends up being marked lost in-transit or damaged, we probs can’t replace these since we might only have enough to fulfill the ones that should have been shipped already, I’m sorry!)
Warehouse has updated me that the updated tracking for the replacements should go live on USPS for viewing by Tuesday, so: if you haven’t heard from me yet, you should before the end of the day as long as you properly submitted your support ticket with your order number, and everyone whose still waiting to hear back with replacement tracking should get an updated email from me by next Tuesday.
You can also use this thread to grumble, whine, or bellyache about this/other things if you want. I’ll try to check back in to answer anything here intermittently to save what’s left of my sanity.

Got mine yesterday, and I think they’re pretty fun. I wasn’t expecting much from the price, but they’re actually pretty good. The battery doesn’t last too long, but you get what you pay for and these were dirt cheap. So open both packages, charge one battery while you use the other, then you’ll get 10 minutes-ish of play time with a 20-30-ish minute break to recharge.

These were a hoot! My brothers and I had a battle royal years ago at Christmas with some helicopters. We were all getting together for Memorial Day so decided to have another blast together. 3 remain as two brothers paired at same time and didnt realize they were controlling the other drone and one guy was trying to take off and move while the other watched his drone fly deep into a neighborhood never to be found again. For the money, it was a blast of entertainment and the 3 remaining have been swarming like Baskin Bees. Thanks for the great time.
They totally exceeded my expectations. Not fast, not lasting long, cameras like we’re in 2000 but damn I paid $10 for 2. I’m having fun with them. Would never use the camera though, but a good toy to learn how to drive them.
Gave them to my adult son as part of his birthday present and they were a huge hit! He learned very quickly how to fly them and they held a charge for at least 10 minutes or more (more than the 5-7 minutes stated in the description). Fabulous price and great to get 2! Haven’t seen what the video looks like but so far we are extremely happy with this purchase! Thanks Meh!
my order is sitting in a pile waiting to be discovered…shiipped on the 7th from Texas. Takes 4 days to get to Indiana. Then 6 days to get to California. Now it sits in a Pitney Bowes warehouse for the last 9 days. Totally unacceptable Meh! Do something, damn it!
@crazykelly ups and pitney bowes at a minimum among shipping companies have basically abandoned any attempt to deliver on any kind of schedule some time after they dropped their on time guarantees in March or so.
another update! May 28th, just received an email from meh saying my May 22 order was delivered. NOT!
Original shipping was May 11th, A half order arrived May 22. I contacted customer service a few times about the half order but no satisfaction yet.
Anyone know where to get extra batteries for these drones? The 5-7 minute flight time and 40min recharge time is such a huge turn-off. I get such a big smile on my face for like 5-7 minutes and then I have to wait 45min to use them again. If I have like 10 batteries I could fly these almost indefinitely or until the batteries burn lol
@daica I contacted the manufacturer and they said this model was discontinued some time ago and they don’t have any batteries and aren’t making any more. They said you can sometimes find 3rd-party suppliers on shopping sites like A ma zon but using them would void any warranty you might have.
I was not happy. I always get extra batteries and chargers for my drones so I can fly at least more than I’m sitting waiting for batteries to charge.
@crazykelly Yes, very good point. And also try to not charge batteries right after they are depleted. They’re pretty hot right after use, and charging them now will make them even hotter which is pretty rough on them. They’ll have a longer life if you treat your batts with care

I’ve let Meh know many times and they just blow me off. Not good customer service. Guess I’ll stop Meh emails for sales as I probably will never get it. Why does Meh treat their customers like this? Just ignore my pleas? Bad Customer Service. Guess I’ll spread the word on Social Media…maybe that would help.
Managed to keep it airborne for the full battery charge today. Previously lost two propellers due to crashes and found you need to replace an A prop with an A prop not B. Once a propeller lets loose good luck finding it. I going to need an extra 30 propellers.
I received 2 of the 4 I ordered (like a lot of people). Contacted support, they replied, and they put in another order for the second 2 on May 21st. The order shows on my page, but it says it’s still processing? Any one else have their corrected order not ship yet?
It’s been almost 3 weeks, and I’m afraid they will not have any more by the time they go to fill it. I know they will refund if that happens, I’m just hoping for the best, lol!
I’m another, going on 9 months later now, and still did not receive the second two pack that they promised they would send out. Well when you’re big and on the internet, I guess customer service doesn’t matter anymore. Hope Meh can keep the lights on if that’s the way they are doing and continue to do business because eventually customers (like me) will get sick of these kinds of business practices and useless promises of delivering on customer orders and there will be no more customers.
