@lisagd22@yakkoTDI I still own the one I bought in 2014 - - it’s American Apparel. It’s such a nice t-shirt. I try to wear it sparingly because I love it and it’s starting to get a little threadbare, but still very wearable.
@lisagd22@moosetoga@yakkoTDI this one rocks and I still have it too. The last batch from Pakistan was really bad to be honest. I’ve bought dozens of these shirts but since they went to Pakistan, I haven’t. I’d pay more for the American apparel one lol.
Long sleeves on short shirts? I’m confusing. Need that Pakistani guy that keeps calling to help me figure out my Medicare to interpret for me. He has always been nice while waiting 20 minutes for me to locate my card before he hangs up. How are you being today, Sir?
@Kyser_Soze I give no details. Sometimes they ask me to “confirm” some info by asking for it directly. I tell them to tell me what they have and I’ll confirm if correct. Sometimes I say “My daughter handles that for me, but she’s not here right now.” They can do what they want with that bit of info. I have no daughter. If I have time and am in the mood, I try to waste as much of their time as I can; I consider that a public service.
I bought one of these scratchy, cheap shirts once and I’ll never buy one again.
I have two dresser drawers filled with high-quality Mediocritee and Meh shirts (at least 40 different designs) and I absolutely covet them. It was difficult enough watching Mediocritee die, but watching you all kill off Meh shirts with these cheap blanks is excruciating.
@Michaelforman qwertee is also a good site. The only thing I don’t like is they have no search function. It’s like browsing a thrift store to find what you want.
I miss the colors. Sometimes, I’m just in a mood and only want to pick the color and not what’s on the shirt, so I have red, green, black, gray, blue-green, and maroon meh shirts. It’s easy and nobody tries to talk to me when I wear them.
the t-shirts are cut in the most unflattering way, i don’t even wear mine outside. the old multicolor ones were fine, these are so wack i feel obligated to warn people about them. maybe the other versions are better but the regular t shirt is so bad.
@w4ffles_ The American Apparel shirts remain my favorite to this day.
After AA’s bankruptcy, meh (and Mediocritee) used Next Level Apparel blanks, which have a very similar cut while actually feeling softer than AA due to its lighter fabric.
I hate to pile on but yes the most recent shirt I got from meh is the weirdest cut and most awful material. The meh shirts of old are some of my favorites and still fit and feel great. It’s a real shame they chose to move to a new manufacturer. These are not even worth $1 each.
I really like the meh shirt I have making a meh face out of a year’s worth of meh click faces on it. Nice fabric, nice fit. I think it would be worth paying a bit more to get them printed on decent fabric with a decent cut like they were in the long lost past (for that I am going on what others say as I haven’t bought one in a long time, did get one in an irk and it wasn’t as nice fabric wise. I am sure it was in the irk as the ink on it wasn’t all that even but since it says meh that sort of fits ).
I was going to suggest VMPs get sent one free, but reading about the material, I don’t think I even want one. Welp. I’ve been on the fence for a while, but final straws may have been hit.
@Kidsandliz yeah, I know. I am one. And about to not be because this reminded me that I still have it and have gotten nothing out of it in a long time. I hardly order anymore, I’d mostly kept it for the free shipping on casemates, but I’ve also cut back on drinking, so that’s not justifying it anymore.
I adore the long sleeve tshirts. But for some reason I always receive one short and one long sleeve when they are supposed to be both long. I hate short sleeve tshirts. Please make it right.

Still the same scratchy/rough blanks as before?
@yakkoTDI It says Pakistan again.
@yakkoTDI I’m wearing the last one I bought & not liking it.
@yakkoTDI As the owner of two dresser drawers full of Woot t-shirts, I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the Meh shirt.

You got my size but not my interest. meh.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Cannot mix and match colors… meh
Y’all low on inventory so you default to peddling your shirts? I wouldn’t mind another ramen deal, meh. Just saying.
@goldnectar Yes! Send Noods!
@goldnectar low inventory is good. Goodbye repeats
@goldnectar wouldn’t mind another cat food deal. My mom’s cats are mourning that they no longer have chicken and tuna filets for snacks

@phendrick I wonder if AI can figure it out for you? Or is that one of those scam call centers that you’re giving all your details to?
@Kyser_Soze I give no details. Sometimes they ask me to “confirm” some info by asking for it directly. I tell them to tell me what they have and I’ll confirm if correct. @Kyser_Soze @phendrick Thank you! Every minute spent is another minute they can’t scam someone else.
On a different paw:
@Kyser_Soze @phendrick @narfcake
Wowwwwwwww … I love this a lot!
(He’s even got a nice cat shirt on.)
I would consider if the long sleeves were sweatshirt material, but not as a long sleeved tee.
More cottons, fewer polyesters, please.
Yeah - what he said! Polyesters = micro-plastics. Boo! Hiss!
@clyde I read that the Cotton-Poly materials can’t be recycled either!
@clyde @Kyser_Soze Yeah, you can’t even cut them up and use them in a bee smoker; the fumes are toxic.

You are moving in the wrong direction.
@Michaelforman 100%
@cinoclav @Michaelforman not 100% cotton, that’s for sure
@Michaelforman glad it’s not just me. Paper thin and feels like paper. Not even the good kind of paper.
@Michaelforman It’s a mehney grab for sure
@Michaelforman mediocratee used to be soooo fun and good quality shirts. RIP

Still half asleep when I opened the page…

I thought I slept through the Meh-rathon I’ve been anxiously waiting for! 🫦
@Lynnerizer Same. First thing I did was to look for the timer to see how much longer before the deal switched over.
@phendrick
Nice to know I wasn’t alone!

/showme a band called Men Exuding Humility with three bass players, one drummer, and one lead singer.

I still wear the two Meh American Apparel shirts that I got 11 years ago. I wish I had bought more. These seem to pale in comparison.

@Jamileigh17 VMP’s haven’t gotten any free goodies in years and years despite the original promise if you bought VMP. It is what it is.
@Kidsandliz yeah, I know. I am one. And about to not be because this reminded me that I still have it and have gotten nothing out of it in a long time. Bought a couple long sleeve last time, but they are shorter torso than the short sleeves. No bueno. Rather disappointing.
/showme person wearing short torso, long sleeve shirt
@tkaos Here’s the image you requested for “person wearing short torso, long sleeve shirt”
@mediocrebot @tkaos Of course it defaults to sexy babe rather than “uncomfortable person in ill-fitting shirt.”

Oh, dear. I don’t think I can unsee that when the topic of these shirts comes up.
On the other hand, from the comments made about them so far, I am going to say that I’m unashamed.
I miss the flask shirts.
I adore the long sleeve tshirts. But for some reason I always receive one short and one long sleeve when they are supposed to be both long. I hate short sleeve tshirts. Please make it right.
