Last year, my youngest pointed out to me that I collected bottle openers. I denied it… And then realized I had half a dozen in sight of where I was standing and that was not even half of the ones I had.
Which is a really long way to say
As someone who STILL has a big jar of these at home from Meh when they suggested we use them for Halloween, I just feel like this is an appropriate purchase.
But I’m not quite sure these would go over quite as well with parents as a trick or treat item though.
(If I give the left overs away this Halloween, is it far enough away from the fad to be considered a retro treat? )
Just thought I’d leave this for anyone else who might have missed it:
I was a little disappointed that one of my spinners didn’t spin, but once I looked closely realized that one side of the hub had been pushed against the spinny part. Each side needs to be more or less equidistant. Now I’m realizing I need to post photos, but I’ll add them under this.
Note here (I realize it’s a little hard to see) that the gap is more equal. In fact, the sweet spot may not be precisely in the middle, but it’s closer to the middle than to either side.

This is what it looks like when one side is pushed too far in (red arrow) and the other is too far out (green arrow).
