Product: 2-Pack: Eggtronic Sirius 65-Watt GaN Adapter with 6FT USB-C Cable
Model: PAWH65
Condition: New
Charge your laptop and all your other USB-C devices with Sirius 65W, a universal USB-C laptop charger.
Versatile, lightweight and pocket-sized, this GaN fast charger is an essential travel companion.
The minimalist body design plugs in flush to the wall, maximizing space behind furniture, while the foldable prongs and detachable USB-C cable make it easy to take on the go.
Sirius is also an environmentally conscientious choice: thanks to patented EcoVoltas charging technology, the power adapter reaches a 93% energy efficiency rate, reducing both energy consumption and CO₂ emissions over time.
@communist Price chart is oddly fascinating - 50 to 70 at intro about a year ago, then down every few months to 40, 20, 14. Looks like the whole segment is getting Amazon Basics’ed.
I purchased this here a few months ago. It’s compact and works perfectly as my Surface Pro and iPad charger. I keep one in my travel bag as a backup charger.
@craigthom Me too. Still thinking about picking up 2 more at this price. The included USB-C cables seem to be pretty good quality too. You could probably go to a BestBuy store (if you find one still open) and pay more than this price for one cable.
‘Eggtronic’? $140? I wanna know the story behind that brand name, and what its first product was. Surely, the reason this is now on Meh is wrapped up in there somewhere. Also, love the writeup…and how dangerously close it is to some real people I know. >.>
I’d also like to know about that ‘EcoVoltas’ technology, and if it’s more than just marketing drivel. (Probably not.)
@PooltoyWolf soooo…I know the answer to this… it’s not a marketing team being quirky…instead, blame Amazon.
Years ago they instituted a brand registry policy to combat counterfeit products that required products to have a registered trademark with the USPTO.
The response to that was every offshore seller on Amazon rushing to register such trademarks…a nonsensical name makes it much easier to get approval as it’s unlikely that someone else has already trademarked the name.
Other retailers soon followed suit.
The response was so big that the USPTO has been absolutely buried in trademark applications ever since and is pretty pissed off at Amazon currently, .
@edsa@Kyeh LOL had to look up slang meaning of CBS thought it was still the network behind one of the 3 VHF channels you could get off the rabbit ears.
@Kyeh@pmarin
I see it as the broadcasting system too! TV, old timey. That’s why I thought it was funny. Concerned about what the slang may be. Uhoh, looked it up. Some options to choose from…
Very good devices, own 2 and use them daily. My Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and my phone are all charged up about these. The cable is excellent quality and length, comes with a Velcro strip that actually works, and the size of the brick is really handy. Might get 2 more to leave at various points in the house.
I’m getting a feeling the random-order-name generator has already been switched to Halloween mode.
EDIT: though I can’t explain the Lemur. But then who really understands a Lemur?
Works on a Ayn Loki and a Dell Laptop. I mean if you don’t have one and you have a device that needs a power pack to charge from a USB cord this is a good backup.

Eggtronic Sirius 65-Watt GaN Adapter with 6FT USB-C Cable… Wait, isn’t that also the Side Deal?
@Euniceandrich @lonocat yes but $5 cheaper here
@Euniceandrich Like seriously, wow we’re getting lazy around here.
@communist @Euniceandrich @lonocat I see it’s the same at either place.
@communist Maybe you are doing it wrong, same price for the daily deal…
Same price.
@Euniceandrich @cengland0 @ruthersby our bad on that… we intended to offer the USB-C + Lightning version on SD and it has now been corrected.
@ruthersby that first deal you linked is just for one unit.

I already have four, so pass,
It provides enough juice to power and charge my Dell laptop (which complains about 40W chargers).

@PHRoG @PooltoyWolf
I think a lot of us are pretty pissed off at Amazon currently!
@PHRoG @PooltoyWolf Half as Interesting made a great video about this on YouTube:
@PHRoG Wow, the world gets stupider every day…amazing LOL
Bought these last time without thinking. They work well and are good for traveling due to the small size, but I wish it had more than 1 port.
@theonlybuster I think “Buy things here without thinking” should be the new marketing phrase for this site.
@pmarin @theonlybuster Hmm, I never thought about that.

CBS for USB-C.
Excellent. This is how we communicate at our house.
@edsa There are too damn many acronyms these days.
@edsa @Kyeh LOL had to look up slang meaning of CBS thought it was still the network behind one of the 3 VHF channels you could get off the rabbit ears.
@edsa @pmarin But “weird uncle Hal” totally did mean Columbia Broadcasting System, or at least that’s what he was mixing up with USB-C.
@Kyeh @pmarin
I see it as the broadcasting system too! TV, old timey. That’s why I thought it was funny. Concerned about what the slang may be. Uhoh, looked it up. Some options to choose from…
@edsa @pmarin Yeah, a lot of the stuff in the Urban Dictionary is so gross (and sometimes pretty dubious.)
I keep buying these darn things.
Given it is NOT a battery, what is the point of these 2 photos?
/showme mistaken plump lemur
Is this the one I bought a few months ago, stuck in a drawer, and forgot about?
@catthegreat The only way to know for sure is to buy this one and then compare.
@dave LOL do you work for Meh? or are you a mehtizen b/c it could go either way
@catthegreat @dave The one you bought a few months ago is presumably still in that drawer. I’d expect these to be new ones but basically the same.
