@beagleboy99 You can calculate the area by using the 3.75 inch diameter x 4.5 inch height. Don’t know if that’s inner or outer dimensions though – probably outer. I get a volume of 49.7 square inches. Which is equivalent to 27.53939 US fluid ounces.
@beagleboy99Overstock.com says 20 ounces so I’ll use that number. I’m in but maybe that because the WiFi speakers I but two weeks ago were a steal and they work great. A little bit of thinking to get them to set them up and be right and left channel but they sound great. I wish I could hook them up to my TV.
Ok, that is really flawed logic but it’s 1:15am and my brain isn’t as sharp as earlier in the evening. These may look nice if you have a few people over and you don’t want to use just regular glasses. Besides, for $10, that’s not a bad deal. I am sure some members will think I’m foolish but…
@michaelahess@djslack Even though I know you were kidding, I cut the brand from the title, because I doubt it was important to anyone and it is just weird to have that number sitting in there.
@cinoclav I can see it now: a meh buyer whispering to himself “ha! screw me one too many times, I’ll buy four thousand shitty looking rose gold pineapple mugs!” Gotta give them points for originality.
I, for one, was doing the math… and considering…
2x10 = 20 mugs, and we could throw them in the fireplace after each round, at that price…
but alas, 2 fugly mugs for $10? Pass…
LNM when they are 20 for $10…
I suspect you may have a few left after tomorrow…
@icehole I was doing the math too but never considering. So how many DO you get? I read that as 2 x 2 pack = 4. Overstock lists them for $36.99 per mug but are out of stock.
@djslack I see they removed the brand name, helping to clear up that 20 nonsense. Now it just looks like you could get either a two pack or 2 two packs. Thought they figured out this problem a long time ago when it kept becoming an issue on tuesdays.
It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to justify holding on to my VMP. This stuff isn’t even meh. It’s the stuff found in the Wally World clearance aisle.
@benj
The bottom of the barrel hasn’t yet been reached yet, I’m afraid.
But rest assured, when we reach it, we can use these mugs to scoop out the remaining sludge.
(I say that with much love, if 20 are sent my way for $10.
If not, I might buy 2 anyways.
One to crap on, one to cover it up with.)
I’m going to buy these because i think they make great gifts, stuff it with a flower or candy etc. and you have something substancial.like an easter summer basket only smaller .
@Furbdog 11 hours in and they’ve only sold 176 of these for $1964. If my math is right the average cost per mug is about $11, which means 83% of people have VMP. They probably pay roughly $6 to ship these to you, so if they’re 50 cents a piece they spend $1 on mugs and $6 on shipping = $3 profit total. 146 VMP buys * $3 profit plus 30 non-VMP buys * $9 profit = $708 profit.
That doesn’t sound too great to me, and I’d imagine the mugs cost at least a buck each.
My Momma told me to keep my mouth shut if I didn’t have anything nice to say. I wonder if that translates to typing something ugly. I’m not risking it. Bye!
so…pineapple drinking vessels in various metallic finishes are definitely A Thing. A Thing that i admit i’ve even considered buying, but never did because they are outrageously expensive imho. so i would be totally into these except…
a.) rose gold, esp this rose gold, looks nothing like copper. why did you even write that, meh? stop lying.
b.) they don’t resemble pineapples & without the leafy lid and with the inexplicable mug handles that really further squashed it for me.
props for holding onto something long enough to attempt to pass it off as a current trend though. i mean really, i can respect that and good try. but this is a big swing and a miss, for me. if i could categorize my reaction to opening the page today it’d be under ‘lolwut.’
@sammydog01 i’m huge on “catchalls” aka any thing i can put other smaller things in. i’m actually not big on specialized cocktail glasses at all but i like these as decoration/catchall/candy dish/etc. my gramma always had a lot of pineapple stuff so that’s probably why. (she & my grandfather worked in the navy and as a result my dad grew up in hawaii as a kid/teen.)
@jerk_nugget That’s so funny, my grandma actually bought these mugs and is using them as decorations around her house She has 2 in her bathroom with potpourri in them. She lives in Florida so they fit in perfect with her decor!

That rose gold doesn’t come through in the photos.
This looks more like rose gold.
@cengland0 That’s pretty.
@cengland0 nah, that looks more like copper.
Cool thimbles, what are the loops for?
Why?
@tomdina Because Meh
You have GOT to be kidding.
Bring back the speaker docks, I say.
hahahaha! I might be so tired I can’t see straight, but I just bought 12 fuckuburo’s! What a lucky break!
@wew Whaaaaat?
@sammydog01 wadda mean" Whaaat?’ Goodniight!
@wew Nighty-night. Hope your hangover isn’t too bad.
What do you want me to say?
some things should never leave the drawing board
@mehod Mehbe they were approved by the same person who named a company ‘10 Strawberry Street’
I love pina coladas- but not these mugs. I would take a pair of those Tiki ones though.
2-pack? It’s not Tuesday!!
@narfcake Do you want it to be Tuesday? I’m perfectly happy with it being Saturday night.
@norman8 Well it means that we skipped over Monday …
How many ounces capacity? Dishwasher safe?
@beagleboy99 You can calculate the area by using the 3.75 inch diameter x 4.5 inch height. Don’t know if that’s inner or outer dimensions though – probably outer. I get a volume of 49.7 square inches. Which is equivalent to 27.53939 US fluid ounces.
@cengland0 I could probably swim to China, if I had to, but I wouldn’t choose to do that, either.
@cengland0 I’m thinking a standard 24oz. cup?
@cengland0 probably outer, and if you subtract about 1/2in from each dimension you get something more realistic for a mug, ca. 12 floz
@beagleboy99 Overstock.com says 20 ounces so I’ll use that number. I’m in but maybe that because the WiFi speakers I but two weeks ago were a steal and they work great. Beautiful!!
Ummmm, what?!?!?!
These will be perfect with my gold lamé suit! Funny, when there’s no accent on the é, it’s just LAME and that’s exactly what these mugs are.
No thanks, I don’t need 20 strawberry street rose gold pineapple mugs.
Wait, is this 2 mugs or 20 mugs? Is 10 Strawberry Street a company’s name?
@michaelahess yes, that’s the brand. My post was a joke.
@djslack And I was mocking the company’s name.
@michaelahess good . I felt a twinge of guilt that “oh shit, i posted a smartass remark and the next person thought it was real”
@michaelahess @djslack Even though I know you were kidding, I cut the brand from the title, because I doubt it was important to anyone and it is just weird to have that number sitting in there.
Why did you buy this?
You can’t unsee this now:
@lichme
I lack your Photoshop dexterity (see what I did there?)…
But isn’t that a deformed big toe at the bottom of the handle?
Unsee that!
@icehole Length of a finger, width of a toe
@lichme Is that a reflection of Heisenberg taking the picture?
@lichme
You win.
I cannot unsee that now.
@norman8 Uncertain…
By far the most hideous thing yet offered on Meh.com.
Where are my rose-colored glasses?
What the actual fuque?
Exactly what will this creature do to my microwave oven?
@gertiestn
/giphy boom
@gertiestn Try it in a microwave you don’t care about and make a video!
@gertiestn Microwave? You mean that phone charger?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2768976/Emergency-services-forced-step-iPhone-users-fall-internet-prank-explains-use-microwave-charge-phone.html
Oh, something to place on the mantle next to my gold plated dog poo.
Rose real gold or rose fake gold?
And am I the only person here who feels compelled to pay tribute to Annette Funicello & burst out in a chorus of “Pineapple Princess”?
@gertiestn my dad used to play that for me
Oh, something to place on the mantle next to my gold plated dog poo.
Besides being hideously ugly, these aren’t even a good deal. Which buyer did you piss off enough that they did this to you?
@cinoclav I can see it now: a meh buyer whispering to himself “ha! screw me one too many times, I’ll buy four thousand shitty looking rose gold pineapple mugs!” Gotta give them points for originality.
@owenversteeg Hit the nail on the head…
Wanted to get mugged??? Get these meh mugs tonight
The title makes it look like you’re getting 20 mugs - a 2 pack of 10 ceramic mugs
@icehole Yeah I thought it was 2…then 20…then back to 2. 20 for the price and I would deal with the ugliness
@icehole I was doing the math too but never considering. So how many DO you get? I read that as 2 x 2 pack = 4.
Overstock lists them for $36.99 per mug but are out of stock.
@callow One order would be just the pair of mugs, I believe.
@djslack I see they removed the brand name, helping to clear up that 20 nonsense. Now it just looks like you could get either a two pack or 2 two packs. Thought they figured out this problem a long time ago when it kept becoming an issue on tuesdays.
@cinoclav
/image tupac two pack
I wouldn’t even buy these if they were at the dollar store. Where they probably will be shortly.
@lordbowen already seen them there. Or at least a near clone.
I am not comfortable with a 2 for $X deal on a day other than Tuesday…
Great, now I’ll be singing Brass Monkey for the next 3 weeks. Thanks a lot, meh. No really, thanks, I forgot how much I loved “License to Ill.”
Sponge for scale.
I was going to pull the trigger, but then you referenced a crappy Jimmy Buffet song, so I’m out.
@illiniben617 Wait…do you mean Rupert Holmes?
It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to justify holding on to my VMP. This stuff isn’t even meh. It’s the stuff found in the Wally World clearance aisle.
Seriously?
Has the bottom of the proverbial barrel been reached?
@benj
The bottom of the barrel hasn’t yet been reached yet, I’m afraid.

@mellowirishgent Now that’s an idea. I couldn’t imagine being drunk enough to want to use them for their stated purpose.
Jared was trying to sell these to Sergey, right? And meh got them when the deal fell through.
Some video how-to help…
@mike808 Thanks dude. The music on that video made my cat fly out of the room at supersonic speed.
What the hell? Whatever Meh buyer purchased this should be tarred and feathered!
Although they’re probably only paying 50 cents a piece for these so would be making a killing at 2 for $10
@Furbdog 11 hours in and they’ve only sold 176 of these for $1964. If my math is right the average cost per mug is about $11, which means 83% of people have VMP. @Furbdog Future Meh Video?
This is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.
If I ordered 36 of these I could make millions at my next garage sale.
@Viper1 Only if you sold your actual garage for millions.
Come on, Meh. Ya got these for.25 at a thrift store, right?
@davido even 2 for a $1 from the dollar store makes them money.
I just realized that I have forever lost the 10 minutes I just spent reading through all this consumer camaraderie…
My Momma told me to keep my mouth shut if I didn’t have anything nice to say. I wonder if that translates to typing something ugly. I’m not risking it. Bye!
These are for a poor man’s Moscow Mule. To make those you use Sterno, Lemon Pledge and stir with the finger of a ginger-headed homeless person.
Those are hideous!
I think they’re kinda cute! But I love pineapple things.
Meh. Meh. Meh. Sometimes you just got to live up to your name.
Do yourself a favor and don’t try to repeddle the massive amounts of leftovers on morningsave.com.
If you do you will just scare off any newbies from looking at Meh.com
I bet I know one item that will be in future fuko bags…
@Cooky Seems they had already sold a 4 pack on Morningsave.
That’s some thrift store shit right there.
so…pineapple drinking vessels in various metallic finishes are definitely A Thing. A Thing that i admit i’ve even considered buying, but never did because they are outrageously expensive imho. so i would be totally into these except…

@jerk_nugget That thing is prettier but even less useful.
@jerk_nugget That’s so funny, my grandma actually bought these mugs and is using them as decorations around her house She has 2 in her bathroom with potpourri in them. She lives in Florida so they fit in perfect with her decor!
@mandirose classic, i love it!
@jerk_nugget Grandmas, they’re just the best aren’t they?? hahaha
@mandirose haha, yes they are
Take that sonofabitch, shine it up, turn it side ways and…
