@clarion47 someone here posted a link to a stanley sale back when. It included stainless steel growlers, hot mugs and the cold bottles. They were just about giving them away. Who knows might have been one model back, I just know the deal was fucking fabulous
@rileyper yeah what the heck – single wall just means the water won’t like fall out. No trapped air means negligible temperature maintaining. Basically only any because stainless is a poor conductor.
Hey Meh, your dialogue opens with talk of keeping drink “cold”, can’t happen with these and single wall.
May want to edit that claim. You almost ‘sucked’ me in with that as I bought a lot of your previous vacuum bottles.
@RedOak That was my immediate thought, too. When I was a kid, I thought my mom was such a killjoy for immediately remarking when something interesting looked hard to clean. Now I’ve become her.
@mike808 perfect for cold weather. ice skating & margaritas. scaling everest & margaritas. not so good for hockey & margaritas as the stopper is hard to get off while your holding a stick- not to mention the glove thing. not for warm weather margaritas- that’s where the yeti wins.
I have several of these, bought at Wal-Mart as part of my quest for the perfect water bottle. I’ve since moved on, because the way the liquid comes out is not unlike a watering can, you can’t really chug. One of the pictures shows a smoothie in it, it would just dribble out.
Wait, wait. Single wall “insulation”? What does that mean? A soda can doesn’t claim to be insulated and this appears to be no different (unless the aluminum is really, really thick!)
Also, does it fit into an auto cupholder?
@hocott I might be crazy- but I would say don’t push the button. Actually, I did contact customer service and they did send me a replacement lid (although they were out of green so they sent me a black one)

@Cerridwyn Just be honest and don’t exaggerate

I want this, I really, really do.

I’m going to put these right next to the star wars bottles I never use!

Water day–such a STEEL tonight !
Single Wall of insulation… I love Stanley thermos but it has to be double walled.
@rileyper Same, that was the deal breaker for me.
@rileyper yeah what the heck – single wall just means the water won’t like fall out. No trapped air means negligible temperature maintaining. Basically only any because stainless is a poor conductor.
Nice try, Stanley, but I’m staying with Bubba.
@JT954 So you’re Bubba’s prison bitch. Apparently Stanley has the length but Bubba has the girth.
Single wall?
Are these double-walled like the Bubbas? I can’t find any mention of this at Amazon, nor the inadequate Meh lid of ‘features’.
@madmaxmedia Single wall.
Nice jugs.
Read the reviews people!
NOT a vacuum bottle! Complaints of leaks and cap, warranty seems to be mixed results.
I like my Bubbas
Sorry im loyal to BIG BUBBA products how did you guys screw that up? let me guess over 1 dollar?
You did it. You mentioned the Bluetooth water bottle.
@Mehsturbator I want wifi so I can check the temp levels on their frozen margarita contents remotely from my desk at work. No app also kills the deal.
What?? No message in the bottle references?

No thanks. We’re loyal to our cache of Bubbas. They’ve been very very good to us. And 12 bucks per pair.
That Stanley top looks like a monster to clean - the Bubbas clean pretty easy.
@RedOak That was my immediate thought, too. When I was a kid, I thought my mom was such a killjoy for immediately remarking when something interesting looked hard to clean. Now I’ve become her.
these will hold margaritas
@alacrity wont keep them cold for long though. So bottoms up!

One handed, or double fisted?
@jzmacdaddy I guess it depends on the point of entry and the amount of lube.
The 360 degree nozzle is far too hot for drinking.
So, the reviews say they tend to leak, and they’re single walled so basically uninsulated.
In other words, something someone should be slapping on a cheesy corporate logo and handing to you for free at trade shows. No me gusta, meh.
“Thankfully, these aren’t one-handed /de/-hydration units.” — @Mehsturbator.
No bluetooth speakers? What am I supposed to play my music on, a toolbox or something? Sheesh.
Can we call a time-out on any and all liquid containers until Presidents’ Day, please?
. . . unless it’s a glass bottle that comes filled with single malt whisky.
@huja agreed. I’ll even drive to the warehouse to pick my order up if they want to save the shipping cost. It’s only 10 miles.
Will it fit in a bicycle water bottle holder?
Top three Amazon reviews for this bottle claim that this thing leaks and it’s hard to keep clean

Can I use these to carry my weekly “specimens” to the doctor?
Single wall construction means liquid doesn’t stay cold/hot for long, and they leak according to many Amazon reviews. Meh.
Wait, wait. Single wall “insulation”? What does that mean? A soda can doesn’t claim to be insulated and this appears to be no different (unless the aluminum is really, really thick!)

There’s talk in D.C. about building a single wall made of stainless steel. I’m not Cupid or anything, but…
i’d buy one with a proper screw top to hold fuel.
I did not miss out on what I did not want.
Love my Bubbas and Contigos. sry… but MEH
@Mandamm I would buy some more of those big plastic Contigos if they offer them again.
It leaks when you push the button to take a drink. What can be done about it?
@hocott I might be crazy- but I would say don’t push the button. Actually, I did contact customer service and they did send me a replacement lid (although they were out of green so they sent me a black one)
