I have a theory that, much like all plastic thrown in the ocean drifts into that giant mass of plastic in the Pacific, meh will eventually just become one large, floating pile of terrible Bluetooth speakers.
Estimated amount of plastic produced worldwide since the end of World War II. Humanity hasnโt been great about taking care of that plastic, given that pieces of it cover virtually every surface on the face of the planet. Whoops! [The Guardian]
Tuesday already? Well yet again we find ourselves at the corner of impulsivity and temptation as we near that janky ass pawn shop on the wrong end of town. As we turn the corner and glance down that dark shitty alley we know all too well. We hear a strangely familiar sound...yup...fucking Nickelback. Suddenly, Twofer comes outta fucking nowhere with these fucking speakers clipped all over herself and all her possessions. Each speaker blaring Nickelback...it's enough to make you lose your fucking mind. Ease your pain...buy a couple off the poor girl so we can start blaring some actual music. Seriously though...these are solid and any chance we get to remove Nickelback from society is a chance worth taking. Do it for the children!
1.5 watts. Yikes. You'll practically have to clip them to your hat (one each side for stereo) in order to hear them with any significant ambient noise around.
Can anyone explain what kind of douche bag has to publicly play their music for everyone to hear? Like that nut job on the bus or that a hole on the train... Seriously, who really needs to seek other's unwanted attention/approval/disapproval while intentionally forcing others listen to your crappy techno as you rock a concussion birthing neck dance and why
@thekenya not illegal (unless you are in one of the 5 unlucky states) and not dangerous unless they are noise canceling. haven't had a problem with earbuds yet
@jdmst77 No, they are dangerous even if you don't have noise cancelling. Biking in traffic is not a zero risk endeavor and you shouldn't muffle one of your senses while you do it. But much like drunk driving, riding with earphones on simply increases your odds of an accident, it certainly doesn't make an accident likely.
@jdmst77 Can anyone explain what kind of douche bag rides a bike with earbuds in so they can't hear anything else around them? Like that nut job riding down the public path where kids and others are walking or in the road where others are driving... Seriously, who really needs to to pay no attention while engaging in a danerous task, endangering the lives of others (and him/herself), intentionally forcing others to have to pay extra attention for him/her while he/she rides while listening to crappy techno as they he/she rocks his/her ride?
@jdmst77 How about at a small party (you have friends?)/cookout/BBQ/small pool party. If you have friends, I'm sure you do something chill w/them and would like to have good music for background. If you don't have friends, then I understand the earbuds. Though I will mostly use one in bathroom to listen to ESPN/Sports Podcast.
Which led me to this gem on the world weird web. Be sure to check the fyi and tidbits sections of these movie reviews for all the relevant information!
I'm hard of hearing and usually miss calls on my iPhone 6s unless it's right in front of me. I was thinking this Bluetooth speaker might be able to give me some freedom through the house by wearing it while listening to music and assure I'm not constantly missing calls since calls come through. I'm not one to be able to sit and stare at my phone all day. Then my phone can be left safely in one place without risk of falling in dishwater or other horrible device like a prior one while I'm busy around the house. Please, to anyone with experience in these, do you think this may be of benefit? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
@Mommykins for around the home leave your cell phone on the dresser charging use... pick up a Panasonic Link-to-cell cordless phone system (no landline required). Pair your phone (plus a 2nd cell phone if you like) to the Panasonic. Now all calls to your cell phone will ring on any of the 2 to 5 handsets around your home. (And even that is customizable for ring tones and volume by individual handset.)
@Mommykins 3rd vote for a Link-to-cell. Bluetooth is only designed for around 30' line-of-sight, and reviews say that these don't do that well after 10'.
@narfcake We get about 20+ foot Bluetooth range thru wet plaster walls. But certainly the Panasonic base should be located as close as reasonably possible to where you charge your phone and/or where you'll likely be in the house if you carry your cell phone. (We sometimes answer our cell phone on a Panasonic handset even if the cell phone is in our pocket!)
Of course as long as your cell phone is located within solid Bluetooth range of the Panasonic base, the Panasonic handsets have great range from the base around the house and into the yard.
@AttyVette Don't you have your ion this deal? Do you like these clhipster speakers? Or are you outdoors and you have the audio turned down? Don't make me go on until I'm blue in the tooth. I think I'll hang it up now.
You know those douche bags that walk around a crowded public place with their phone on speaker talking really loud thinking they look important? These are worse. Thanks Meh, you're basically mass producing douche bags with this sell. Look out Summer's Eve here comes Meh.
Slightly bigger then a master combo lock and 1.5 watts. Now i'm not saying there overpriced I'm saying they are not going to have enough sound with average street noise..Meh has sold over 1000 so well done Meh ..I have bought almost every speaker you have sold some are ok at best most under perform that's why manufactures cleared them from inventory . And yes Meh you did deep discount them so ty for that ..PEACE!!!
Just a heads up that we've run in to a bit of a delay in getting these out. Shipping will likely take place early next week at this point which means we may miss our estimated deliver date of 2/8 - 2/10. We'll update the thread again as soon as we have an update on when these will go out for sure.
I am so out of here wtf how dare you ship this product later than previously stated, notify us about it courteously/transparently, and still ship in a timely manner.
@jackies420 The top post of every product thread is the specs post. This has a ton of useful information in it and is worth reading before you purchase. The estimated shipping dates are part of that post. For this product; Estimated Delivery: 2/8 - 2/10.

@woolieboy I purchased these for listening to podcasts while working outside. The volume level is exceptional for that purpose, and even at 1/2 volume I can hear audio clearly from over 100 feet away. Good build quality and controls too. Thanks Meh!
Iโve kept one around my shower head since I got them. I donโt use very often so, they hardly need to be charged and still work after thousands of showers with multiple people over 2 years. Good purchase
@one_two3456 Donโt do it man. I know you feel like you canโt go on, but people will miss you. What you are thinking about it a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

thanks meh for making me learn what an IPX level is
@sp3ar I went to school with that guy. He gets his picture on meh and I only get to send text.
@discmaster i wouldn't hold you back from posting your face on meh please do I can't wait to see
1.5 watts. Yikes. You'll practically have to clip them to your hat (one each side for stereo) in order to hear them with any significant ambient noise around.
@zahgrim aha, thank you! I was wondering if these would be a good replacement for my stupid shower speaker and its stupid battery that's always dead.
@zahgrim Having two wouldn't be stereo. It'd be 2 times mono. (Same audio on both.)
@PhotoJim I'm sure it was meant more for the funny visual than aural integrity.
i stayed up until 9pm for this??
@carl669 Go to bed Caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarl
@carl669 I stayed up till 2AM for this?
@carl669 I shaved my legs for this?
@sjk3 now that's just weird. i'm pretty sure bluetooth speakers don't put out.
@lichme i know. it's way past my bedtime Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiich!
This is the older version right? The original? That thing seemed interesting, almost mehable and almost not. Time to wonder...
...do I even have a need for this original dynamite?
@DKL You're trolling, right?

@jdmst77 people who bike. Like me
@thekenya I bike to work daily. still don't understand... explain
@jdmst77 I like to listen to music while biking. Headphones and earbuds are illegal to use while biking, or at least dangerous
@thekenya not illegal (unless you are in one of the 5 unlucky states) and not dangerous unless they are noise canceling. haven't had a problem with earbuds yet
@jdmst77 I play disc gold and wearing earbuds or headphones kind of interferes with throwing... also shower speaker.
@jdmst77 No, they are dangerous even if you don't have noise cancelling. Biking in traffic is not a zero risk endeavor and you shouldn't muffle one of your senses while you do it. @Mommykins Martian watch or blue tooth ear buds would better if your hearing impaired
@Mommykins These speakers are 1.5W. If you have trouble hearing an iPhone ring you're going to have trouble hearing these speakers.
Have you tried a smart watch (eg Pebble)? They vibrate when your phone rings, allowing you to leave it where ever you want.
@Mommykins for around the home leave your cell phone on the dresser charging use... pick up a Panasonic Link-to-cell cordless phone system (no landline required).
