If you include things like the fans that could double as powerbanks, and the car starting powerbanks, I have bought 18 powerbanks over the years from meh.
That’s 3.5 per person in my house. (Mostly as stocking stuffers though).
That’s a heck of a lot of powerbanks. There’s a reason I’m mostly sitting this mehrathon out. Lol…

What is the number of power banks in my desk drawer. Did I win, Alex?
I thought 18 sounded crazy. Just counted and I have 16. I know I have another 3 at least on morning save/side deals. Plus some from anker.
Wonder how many I can actually find that I still have.
Of course, that didn’t count ones included in irk/fuko that would add probably 6-8 more.
@raccoon81 yeah, i forgot about IRKs. I’ve probably received some that way too.
To be fair, several have died, so i don’t have 18 around the house. I know at least one of the pink grenade ones i gave my daughter’s is dead, and a Mophie didn’t survive swimming. A couple of the early ones didn’t have much power so I got new ones.
Kids also become black holes for them. I buy them for Xmas and then by easter they claim they don’t have one
The power bank count here is lower than my catshirts count, so I’m okay.

@OnionSoup - I just ordered another in the last mehrathon because it is my first USB-C version. Many times the adaptors don’t work so well with the others, she rationalized.
I think I have about 6 around the house. One I bought for a vacation that has two usb ports so that my travel buddy and I would only have to carry one and we could both charge our phones. But I only use them for travel and since not going anywhere…

Well I’m just not doing it right. I’ve only purchased one powerbank from Meh (I have 2 others.) Unless you count the battery for my Google home mini… Does that count as a powerbank?
I have received a few powerbanks in fukos/irks but the one covered in pot leaves didn’t work and the others were highly impractical for my needs (puff balls and iPhone cases)
In addition to all the powerbanks they throw into IRKs, fukos and fukus (which I just now noticed @Oneroundrobb mentioned, but was already wondering about), y’all counting Morningsave and SideDeals?
@joelmw nope. 2 more at sidedeals takes me to twenty… Or four per person in house…
… I’ve tried to recall… But I don’t think I’ve got any in a fukus or irk. Could be wrong though.

@joelmw @OnionSoup Well 4 per person in the house makes sense. I have 4. One in my purse, one in my backpack, one in my car and one beside my bed in case the power goes out and I need one. Two of them have a low capacity (3000), but I use them so infrequently I can’t justify replacing those two with 10,000 ones as much as that would be nice.
@joelmw @Kidsandliz the early low power ones is why I have so many. (Oh that’s three times the size of mine, I need to buy it).
They’re big enough now, I don’t need bigger.

Yeah I have a lot of them too, but I like powerbanks so it doesn’t bother me. Lemme count: 2x 10,000mah usb-c mophie, 2x 10,400 mah usb-A mophie, 2x 3000mah mophie (thin flat usb-A), 2x 2400mah 18650-based mophie (dud product, I’d avoid in future), around 5x of those 4000mah Halo micro-B+lightning with the suction cups, plus a 30,000 mah Aduro from woot that I misplaced (maybe it will turn up) and a few older ones around. So that’s about 15 from meh (including morningsave/sidedeal) alone, all in the past 6 months or so. Before that I only had a couple.

I probably lost count somewhere along the way, but including a couple of backpacks, earbuds, etc. that included more-or-less regular USB power banks, I’m going to call this a close approximation (it’s no less than this; I feel like I might have lost one or two):

@joelmw On the plus side, I think it’s cool that it’s relatively easy to see this stuff, including original listings and discussions and all of that useless but fun shit. With lots of gifs and "fuck"s and whatthefucknots. On the other hand, meh, you really need to provide this to us in csv format, including urls to the discussion and listing for each item, and at least the main photo associated. Hit me up if you’d like to see an example. Surely you have or could generate all of this shit. What else are you doing, besides selling us KN-95s and power banks and flashlights?

@caffeineguy OK-- I just counted 37 from my meh history, including the duracell 2packs, and the jump starters. I’m sure there were a few in ~15 IRK/Fuko, and those 4 night lights count too, right? Were the bug zappers batteries too?
