Honestly finally decided I wanted these and Sidedeal said sold-out. Maybe because they were coming up here.
Wanted something for morning espresso or coffee, and when I buy quart-size 1/2 and 1/2 often goes bad before I finish it. Also these don’t need refrigeration, easier for road/RV trips.
@pmarin based on this comment, I pulled the trigger! I like chai but never have milk in the house because there’s just two of us and we never go through it before it goes bad. This should be perfect. Thanks!
Sure, get 100 of these, use one a day, and they’re expired when you’ve used about 1/3 of them. And since they’re made with liquid milk, you have to pay more attention to the Best By date than you normally would. And even with a Mehrathon they’re still 20 cents each, so they’re not exactly cheap.
Mine arrived today. Will try one tomorrow. Probably 1/2 a pack to start.
On something like this I don’t worry much at all about expiration date. Do you know how old some of those Taco Bell sauces and McDonalds ketchup and mayonnaise packages are? Doesn’t matter unless they’ve been stored outside in the hot Sun for an extended time. Shelf-stable items. As far as I know, “sweetened condensed milk” dates from WW-II (if not before) where it was needed to store a milk product that did not need refrigeration for months or even years at a time. Like in a bunker, if you have one.

I actually really like these. I mostly have them knocking around for days when we’re out of milk or my spouse decides it smells weird.
These are really good. I would buy more if the BB date was further out.
I use these when traveling, they are pretty tasty

@MWPollard use 3 a day then? Drink more coffee or make some coffee friends.
